My twin boys progressed quickly thru their lessons at Goldfish. The teachers were great with the kids and were able to give lots of individual attention. The administration was very helpful when moving classes and scheduling make up classes. I was very pleased over all.

My 3 young boys have been taught to swim by goldfish since before they could walk. It has made all the difference. Their confidence and safety is just second nature. My boy struggled with separation. Great swim school! I wouldnt go anywhere else. My kids, ages 3 & 7, went from not know much about swimming to being able to swim in the deep end without any help or flotation devices. We went for an entire year.

Friendly staff and teachers. Teaching style, attitude and phasing are very conducive for learning and keeping the student inspired. Place is clean. Really appreciate the free swim offered to the families.

The teachers and they way they instruct the kids are incredible. They were also right on track with our 2 year olds. They said they would stop crying during lesson 3, and they did! They also do a great job moving kids up when they are ready!

The atmosphere at Goldfish Swim School is extremely welcoming. The staff at the front desk, swim instructors and management team are friendly and accommodating! My sons instructor, who we just adore, goes above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable in the water. Weve seen a significant improvement in my sons swimming abilities in a matter of weeks. Excited to watch my child gain even more confidence in the water!

My son is only able to go to Goldfish for a couple of months each summer but he’s gone from being a non-swimmer last year to backstroking and side breathing this year. He loves his lessons and gets excited when it’s a swim night. He’s had numerous instructors this year and last and every one has been so nice and patient as well as being a good teacher. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and will definitely be back next summer.

Our daughter has really taken to the exercises and just loves being in the water now thanks to the swim school! We started her with lessons at 6 months old. She seems to progress each week, getting more and more comfortable with the exercises. She has become quite the little fish. The staff is very knowledgeable, polite, and well-trained. They do a wonderful job explaining the purpose for each exercise in class, which is helpful for us. Highly recommend Goldfish if you are considering swim lessons for your little one!

Absolutely love Goldfish Fishers. The staff is always very friendly and helpful- they recognize me when I come in. My daughter has been in lessons for a year and a half, and she has loved all of her teachers. We have seen great progress in her swimming. We just had a birthday party there yesterday, and it was very hassle-free! 20 six year olds and no tears!

I cant say enough about Goldfish Swim school (Fishers), their managers (Chris and Abbey), and their staff. My son is in Boy Scouts and really needed to improve on his swimming for the Swim Test. The manager Chris was great, getting us set up and working with the instructors. They are really patient and take time to explain what he needs to work on. Im really glad we came here and I would definitely recommend Goldfish Swim School!

Goldfish Swim School is simply the best. The instructors are patient and genuinely have an interest in your childs learning and safety. The facility is always clean and fully stocked. We love it there!

This place is pretty awesome and we enjoy all the open swims and special event open swims that they have. But the staff at the front desk is completely clueless. They really need to be trained better in all of different things you guys have there. For example, birthday parties. I got 4 different answers about the same question from 4 different people.

We tried this place for five months for our six year old son. We were intially impressed with the facility. The age of the staff was an area of concern, but we wanted to try it. The instructors all seem to be currently attending high school. The instruction started well, but we noticed some inconsistencies when instructors were subbed. In our fourth month, we got a new permanent instructor. He was very inexperienced and appeared to be getting instruction himself from fellow instructors while on the job and my dime. Our new instructor lacked confidence as well. We began to feel we werent getting the value we stated with. We lost confidence in the instruction and decided to try another place.Our lack of confidence was soon validated. After being gone for a month we purchased tickets for an Easter Egg hunt and free swim. We put a life jacket on our son who cant swim. The hunt was not well organized and not worth the value. Our deepest regret came during the free swim. Our son asked the nearest staff member (Instructors) to take his life jacket off. The staff member said yes and took it off him without checking with us, the parents, as we sat in the gallery. Our son jumped in and after several seconds began to struggle and panic. The staff member, four feet away directly in front of him, just watched. I had to run through the crowded gallery, along the poolside, then push the instructor into the water to save our child. There was fear and panic on our sons face and he couldnt get a breath. I dont know what the instructor was thinking, both in the decision to remove the life jacket, and the observance of a child struggleling and panicing. He definaly was lacking experience and judgement.

This swim school is absolutely amazing! The staff are so great w/ kids, friendly, helpful, and super patient! I highly recommend anyone wanting to have their child(ren) take swim lessons, to bring them here!

Swim instructors are great! Technique is perfect for little ones getting used to the water and advancing their skills. Would be great if there were more changing rooms.

Swim lessons have been so wonderful for our son! Cassandra, his teacher, is absolutely amazing! She is kind, patient, and our son loves working with her! Classes are always on time, facility is clean, and rescheduling is very easy!

My two boys love this swim school. Great instructors and my boys are learning so much. I feel much more confident with them swimming in big pools!

The staff and teaching method have had amazing results with our daughter, who had been really apprehensive and scared about being in the water. The instructors do a great job dealing with the kids, regardless of age or skill level, and has made our daughter LOVE swimming and being in the water after only a handful of classes.

My 7 1/2 year old daughter has been taking 2 classes per week and has had wonderful instructors. She started with Cassandra in the Beginner Class and wouldnt put her face in the water; now she has moved up a level and holds her breath! GFSS is very organized and clean. I wish my older girls could have learned to swim here. My daughter is always excited to go to swim lessons! Although we have enjoyed all the instructors, I wanted to mention how patient and kind Cassandra has been. Thank you.(Score 10 out of 10)

UPDATED REVIEW: An update for Goldfish of Fishers is definitely warranted. After my review, both my husband and I were contacted by the owner. At my sons next lesson(age 5), the owner took the time to speak with me extensively about my sons progress and how it could be improved. He personally made sure my son was moved to a different class to maximize his learning opportunity. We are very appreciative of their efforts and attentiveness to the needs of the students. They themselves, ensure that children are excelling in their classes. We have enrolled a second child (age 2) in Goldfish Fishers, and hes had a wonderful experience so far.What my original post did not include and should have, was beyond the swim student to teacher ratio, we have always been happy with the top-notch staff. The front desk, the pool deck supervisors, and swim teachers have always gone out of their way to welcome and know every student they have. For being with Goldfish for nearly two years, we have come to know our weekly staff, and have enjoyed our visits. Not to mention, how the facility is extremely CLEAN and well taken care of!Weve had our son in Goldfish for almost two years. The school is great IF your childs class is not full. (The ratio is 4-1,student to teacher, as a full class.) Each class is 25 minutes of instruction, 5 minutes of parent-teacher discussion. When there are four students in one pool lane, each child receives LESS THAN 10 MIN of instruction. The rest of the time they are sitting on the bench, waiting their turn. For the past few months, all his classes have pushed the 4-1. For the monthly fee (averages $20 a class/week), it has become not worth our investment and time. The classes would be more beneficial if they lowered the student ratio to no greater than 3-1.

My son loves going to swim class every week and loves his new teacher Cade!! This place is all round amazing!
