Very interesting exhibits. Extremely accommodating and knowledgeable docents. Binders of background information on the artists. Convenient free parking. Free admission to the exhibits. A wonderful day trip from Detroit. A great way for young people to get exposed to the art in childrens literature. And it was great for us grandparents to see the art of the books we spend so much time reading to our little ones.
Incredible display of picture book art from childrens books. Staff is very knowledgeable
To anyone who enjoys #kidlit this place is amazing and well worth the drive to visit.
Took me strait to it.
We are an adult special needs day program and the Mazza was a new outing for our group. We range in a variety of disabilities and the Mazza crew made our group feel like they were each very special! We went at a speed that the whole group could enjoy and they even had a awesome art craft for the group to do! They really listened to each individual and made their day special! We will be taking our group back again very soon!
Amazing place to learn about childrens books and illustrations. The largest collection in the world!
This is one of those treasures that you dont find every day! The art of the illustrators of childrens book.
Whether you have kids or just want to take a trip down memory lane, this museum is a great place to visit! There is a large collection of original illustrations from childrens books along with copies of the books to read. And if you happen to get lucky, you may even catch an author/illustrator at the museum talking about their work. A fun visit for both young and old!
Was invited to help entertain at their march “Sunday Funday” family event! The staff here is beyond helpful and so clearly passionate about what they do! Mazza museum is a fantastic resource for people in the area. Definitely suggest you check it out
