Went here to have a potential wedding and was less than impressed. No private rooms, shared bathrooms with the public, people walking around in the background, planner person was very off-putting, wedding comes as a take it or leave package with little flexibility due to covid. Just doesnt seem like a great wedding venue.

This is a gem in the heart of Ferndale! Theres a great little corner bar if you get thirsty and a really nice little cheese and meat counter if youre hungry. Then there are just so many talented artists displaying and selling their work. There were so many interesting items It was hard to decide what to spend my money on. I really liked this ceramics and jewelery artist that I am posting photos of her booth. They have a great common meeting area in the center. They were broadcasting a live public radio station. They have plenty of parking. I highly recommend a visit to the Rust Belt!

Ive only ever been here for a Wedding. I know what youre thinking, A WEDDING!?!—yes a wedding, and it was pretty snazzy, so I would say if youre looking for a venue for your wedding or reception definitely look into what this place has to offer.I did do some walking around here before the wedding started and while all of the businesses were still open—and I must say that I really do wish there were more places like this to help small independent businesses be seen and succeed. Everyone here was very friendly and the over all environment was very warm and inviting (it also smells good). The place overall is also clean and very well taken care of (yes, even the bathrooms). There is also a HUGE bonus if youre an adult, and like to partake in adult activities like consuming adult beverages. There. Is. A. Full. BAR! And yes that means what you think it does. You can drink and shop simultaneously! Exciting right?I would say that literally the only downfall of this place is that it is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But I totally understand why that is, and thats okay. Also be sure to check out the Poison Dart Frog enclosure by the bar and bathroom area and see if you can spot any of the Frogs inside. Its pretty cool, and definitely a unique thing to come across at a place like this.I plan on coming here as much as I can in the future. Cheers!

One of our families favorite hangouts. We walk, shop, eat, drink in a totally casual atmosphere of local vendors and artists. Great place to bring out of town friends to get a taste of the Detroit suburbs. Love Ferndale.. Its a really cool city on its own anyway but this place is a gem. Make sure to check out the outside bar open on the weekends. Lots of tropical plants and cushiony seating to rest in the shade and watch the cars go by. Oh and for the folks who dont partake in alcohol they had some delicious bottled root beer..yum!

This is a great place for tourist. If you looking for one of a kind gift. This is the place, local artisans, and artists. My pet peeves is I dont like seeing these artist fidgeting on their phone. I get it that foot traffic is hard to predict. I just find it less engaging when they do that. I digressed, this place is an oasis of small local people who makes wonderful things. Also theres a bar so whats not to love?

Not at all what I was expecting but pleasantly surprised. I thought it was going to be like a typical farmers market but was very happy to discover that its mostly artists and creators that man the many sections of the market. There is jewelry, tshirts, soaps and artwork just to start. So many different unique things in there Im looking forward to going back. There is also a bar in there so that was a cool idea too. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you are able to.

Horrible experience to say the least. Drove 3 hours to finally shop here after hearing good things. Yet these people from ACLU Michigan were ruining the experience for me and many others. NO ONE WANTS TO BE HASSELED AND BERATED ABOUT VOTING AND REGISTERING TO VOTE FROM HOME! The guy was extremely rude and condescending if you didnt sign up. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I will not be returning if this is what all your events are like. I didnt even get to enjoy myself and left early since these people ruined my day and it looked like many others as well. Note to rust belt. Keep politics out of your store!

Very cool place! My family and I visited. They have a little something for everybody. Had good conversations with a few of the shop owners and they seem to enjoy it too. A lot of them have charities that some of the purchases go to. I wish they were open more often but it’s a great spot to go if you’re in the area during the weekend.

Had my wedding here and Christina was amazing. She just kept on top of everything I needed for the wedding. The venue was beautiful and perfect. The reason this is a 4 star is because there was a bartender there that night from Rust Belt that everyone felt was so rude and unaccommodating. He was a taller gentleman that wore a Hawaiian shirt. He just gave a attitude to a lot of my guests to the point where I heard all about it the next day.

Beautifully designed and aesthetically organized. The central area is just beyond real! Lots of everyday things to buy ranging from a fridge magnet to big tables. The guy who designs and builds wood tables, consoles and other furniture on metal frames is very talented I felt, including his wall hangings. People from Canada, according to him, buy his products. Must visit if you are in the area. Not overly expensive, except of course the tables or other furniture, but I still felt some things were a bit pricey for the market!

Interesting wheres interesting location. Prices for most of the stuff is a little high but thats because a lot of it is handmade and that carries with it a higher price tag. The creators of the items take great pride in their work and thats evident by the fact that they are also running the shops and not hiring out to other people. If you have the money for some of their pieces I do recommend stopping by taking a look its all very unique and one-of-a-kind.
