Do love this store........ BUT the check out line is ALWAYS TOO LONG. Made 3 different trips, different days different times. Third time I just had to stay and wait. RIDICULOUS! I realize weve got the COVID situation going on....but come on Michaels - get a clue. Pretty sure most of your customers dont want to spend 1/2 the day waiting to check out.

I go here mainly for the framing, when they have a sale, or a frame size that I need is a clearance item.Britney does a great job helping match up the right, picture or certificate to the right frame, and gets them ready in a very timely manner.The rest of the staff also are very diligent about keeping the shelves, well stocked and tidy, the store clean, and helping at the checkout stand when needed.

The store was clean and the staff is helpful. I come here often and I never have to wait in line for too long to check out. The cashiers seem to do a good job of increasing register availability when the line gets longer. Most items seem to be in stock except for some fine art supplies. I was able to find something else to make it work in the meantime.

Employees were very accommodating and friendly . I went at closing but I didnt realize it when I went in, or else I wouldnt have even entered the store.After I heard the were closed announcement, I apologized for being there at close.Now the ladies I interacted with at closing were so very gracious and I felt it was sincereIve encounter employees at previous jobs that get snarky with customers that come at closing.(Not cool, I know)Thanks for your patience with me!

Always enjoy Micheals. Staff are always helpful and friendly. While they have some of the things that Joannes does they have many other things that Joannes doesnt. I do like their porcelain figures and all the baking supplies!

Boy where to start! The framework has been switched now but should probe to be interesting. The place is ginormous and live it dearly if the truth sets people free the people will be free,until then? So I think I will shop between several stores and MHC TO. I also was going to eat them out of house and home! But no food ! Happy trails to all and remember if service is the problem call on me to find your solutions. Lol!!!!

Some employees are nice and helpful while others not so much. It is now way overpriced. Might as well check the items out at the store and then buy on Amazon for half.

Am giving up more of my physical gardening when I counted just my strawberries and discovered why it took me so long. Of the 542 plants on the deck, I am giving away 250 plants. I am going to try my hand at miniature fairy gardening. The staff at Michaels are great -- always have answers to your questions, know their products and are always encouraging. Had all their fairy gardening products on sale last week at 50% off. And I love the little houses that light up with either batteries or solar panels. Im well on my way. Ill try and post photos later.

They had everything I needed to start my scrapbook project. Its good to know I can actually find supplies when I need them without having to drive all over town.

They had customers w/o masks and we have a No masks, no service policy on place. One woman even got help from an employee without so much as a peep about Michaels policies or tha states. Gave me less than a favorable impression of Michaels commitment to our safety.

It was nice and clean, very organized but theres so many options its kinda easy to get lost in there.

I was looking for a pesticide spray and sprayer and they helped me find everything I needed.

I am not happy with Michaels. I bought a few things and I should have brought them back. The employee new the stuff I bought was on sale. She new I could have used coupons,but she didnt say a word. I spent almost $100 and I didnt understand how it could cost so much when I didnt get much. I asked a friend of mine who told me I paid more than I needed to. Told me the employee didnt give me the sale price and the employee should have talked to me about the coupons they had. Anyway I wont shop at Michaels in Federal Way again. The employees do not say hello, and when asked if they have chopsticks not one employee new of they do so I was told probably not. I suggest management either needs to be trained so management can properly teach the employees what they have and dont have. Maybe say hello. Acknowledge a customer when we walk in. Dont just stare or pretend we arent their. Everyone just stands around doing nothing. Not friendly people. Not mean, but uncomfortable in that store. I do not know much about crafts and It would have been nice if someone that worked their did.

Another visit to Michaels was such a pleasing experience especially at Christmas. The store is brightly packed with holiday cheer, specials and sales galore as always. Michaels is so clean, well organized and everything in its place. The cashiers are very friendly and through, and of course you always leave with another coupon and a smile.

They had some flower petals I needed for a wedding, only place I could find them local.

It was 9:39am so there were alot of stock in the isles so I found myself going around a bit. Nothing that caught my eye So I moved on.

Fun fall decor.

Online ordering was more of a headache then it was worth. Thought the website would be easy user-friendly, was not the case. Everytime id click on something that was curbside pick up available it was out of stock ship only or not available at all. Customer service at the store was well below what you would expect from a dollars store employees first day. Not to mention Im still waiting on my order to be completed witch only has 5 items( 3 of ome item and 2 of another). Only reason I attempted to order anythimg from this store was my grandmother loved shopping here. Really need a zero star option.

The store is always fairly well stocked and organized. I do feel there could be more employees on the floor helping customers; I tend to find most of them at the register or stocking products though they are all friendly and helpful when asked questions.I did have to exchange a wood burner I had purchased as a gift, as the tip was stuck in the burner and couldnt be taken off by several people. The employees made sure to check the new one I was taking home to ensure I wouldnt have the same problem, which I very much appreciated.

I had a medical emergency and had to use the restroom immediately and asked politely to make exception and the staff was extremely rude with my request and denied me access to the restroom

My visit into Michaels was cut a little too short, I must say. I might spend half the day looking at their mountainous collection of dazzling beads & the jewelry pendants are so exotic and each piece is uniquely individual. I didnt make it out of there without a few purchases. However I was pleasantly surprised when my total costs were cut in half just for becoming a rewards member.

1st time visit, had two associates ask if I needed help (unheard of in the city Im from) Nice big Easter Bunny and eggs featured in the front - middle section of store. Nice selection of art journals and decor and pretty good art supplies. Young woman on the register was sweet

Not enough Grandmas in the world for this business to stay afloat long term. They have to know it too. Not sure what their long term plan is, but the outlook cant be great at corporate. Wishing them luck, but the writing (or stitching) has to be on the wall.

I had to use the restroom urgently right after getting a surgery and asked them to use the restroom and the staff was very rude and did not let me use their restroom in an emergency

Not enough people on the floor to help with products that need a floor worker to get off the shelf. The gift box was supposed to he on aisle 60 according to online store and it was about 4 rows back. Made a short trip into a 40 min run for 2 products.

They have supplies for lots of different craft projects. I needed three frames last week and they had ones that I liked on sale. Hurray! Sale prices pretty good. Bring a coupon for discounts on other items.Staff are usually very nice and customer service is good.

The store is a decent store. I am glad they price match because just about every other company that carries the same art supplies is cheaper. The staff is kind and patient and helpful. Paint selection could be better but nothing really to complain about. The brush selection is kinda thin.

This Michaels just like all the other location throughout Washington state, same layout or similar, good deals and discounts and of course friendly & helpful service. This place isnt just for the crafty person but someone that wants to decorate their home, office or special place. If your working on home decor you can find everything you may need to get your project complete: spray paint, picture frames, canvas, art supplies, small projects to keep your little ones busy and so much more.

Its a dangerous place to go if you dont intend to buy baskets full of crafting supplies. If you are looking for supplies for a project they probably have what you need... And also done other cool stuff!
