Such a beautiful park. Playground needs some updating. Also their parking lots could use some freshly painted lines. People kinda park anywhere.

Love this park. Glad you added the fishing dock. Added a neat music section at playground. My family loves this park. A great place to take your children to play fish or take a nice walk. They have an area to look at birds up close... just love it. They also have restrooms. A section for very small children.

Preface: I dont feel its particularly safe to put my friends names and photos on Google Maps, so Ive changed their names to just the first (or first 2) letters and whited out their faces in photos. Z is in blue, A has the black coat, and J is in the shirt with mania on it. I didnt take any pictures of Ai.------------------------------------------------------------------------Short: I went to Zs birthday, had a cake war, walked a trail, crossed a river 6 times, almost sacrificed Ai to some beavers, and lost A at Pasta House.Long: We all went to Zs birthday party. A bit into it, me and a few other friends thought it would be fun to walk around the trails. What followed was a bit more adventurous then we had thought. First, we ate some cake along the trail. Js plate tipped over, and with it, the cake. Thus followed a short Cake War. About 20 minutes later A decided to throw his shoes across a small part of the river to an island in the middle. He would pay whoever got them first. Then J went and crossed it on foot (It was about 4 feet deep) and retrieved As (now floating away) shoe. We then crossed from the island to the riverbank, where we saw an open field. I jokingly called it a minefield, but then we started seeing small holes in the ground, it was then determined that this was in fact, an old cornfield. From this point we decided to return to the pavillion. We crossed the river to the island, and climbed over a rather large brush pile to the other side. This was about when J mentioned something was living in it, and we thought she was joking. She was not. Fast forward a minute and I and Z saw the same, turns out that brush pile was a massive beaver dam. Then Ai crossed and almost fell into the pile (you could hear its supports snapping as she climbed it) We were in sight of the pavillion when we noticed A wasnt with us. I called him and told him to send a picture (the one with the bridge is his). He then told me he was by Auto Plaza, which is 2 miles away by road. We told him to start walking up 67, what we didnt know was he had walked the wrong way up 67. About 10 minutes later he called us and said he could see Pasta House. We all simultaneously facepalmed, having just arrived at the pavillion. He then turned around and walked back, until he reached the Sewage Treatment Plant. We then directed him back to the park. (no less than 5 times) There may or may not be a video documentary of us on the river, its still in the air.

Very nice little park. Plenty to do there: Fishing, nature walks, childrens playground, pavillion, soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, and a 9 hole frisbee golf course. The St. Francis river runs along the western border of the park and sometimes floods a portion of the nature trail. The park is well maintained by the City of Farmington and has plenty of parking for visitors

One of the guys relieved himself on a tree. He had his back to us. We didnt see anything but knew what he was doing. There were several prom goers at the park getting pictures.
