The customer service and atmosphere are reason enough to visit - and when you add the artwork, photography, classes, and jazz jams you have yourself something TRULY SPECIAL! Great place in Farmington - total hidden gem.Karens art is fantastic - her and husband Patrick are amazing people and a joy to visit.In addition to being an art gallery - they have a wonderful outdoor space that has a stage and hosts things like Jazz Jams and Open Mics and Concerts and Workshops....truly a center for the arts in downtown!

The patio has an excellent atmosphere. We usually visit for open mic night and have the best time. I appreciate the exposure for the younger talent.

What an incredible place! Karen Ellsbury is just this awe inspiring artist but, at the studio, you come to know her as so much more. They have strategically leveraged their Downtown location to bring a pulse back into our once booming downtown nightlife. Studio 116 has opened up the studio as well as this really cool outside venue that they have built. On Wednesday nights and some Fridays they bring in a band and have food and live artists painting on-the-spot and they auction the paintings right afterwards. How fun and thrilling! This especially exciting for those of us who are trying to support downtown nightlife.

The artist/proprietors are very friendly and knowledgeable about the exhibited art. The pieces are primarily by local artists and of varied types, including paintings, ceramics and jewelry. Prices seemed reasonable. This is a relatively new gallery and the proprietors have interesting and ambitious future plans for the gallery.
