Amazing Park, worthwhile for younger school-age kids too. People were respectful of wearing masks as required. Fun for the family to do the dress up in Western for pictures, although we had to schedule an appointment and it certainly not cheap. Family also loved seeing the animals when we went on the train ride.

Fun place to go north of Salt Lake City. The have rides for everyone in the family. Ride times were not very long, mostly due to th day starting off with showers. Rides are kind of short compared to other amusement parks, but still fun. Be sure to do the train ride as well. You get to see some animals and get to sit for a bit too.

The rides are fantastic, the restaurants are very suitable, the staff are always a pleasure to be around (when you could be around then before COVID), and its just a great place for families to be.The ONLY thing that needs serious improvement is the zoo. Those cages are outrageously small and unfit for any animal. Animals like the lions and the tigers are enclosed in such tiny concrete cages, with no grass. This is the only thing that needs change.

Had a great time but the park was super packed. Way over the 25% capacity the website said would be allowed. One season park holder told me it was the busiest he had ever seen it. The poor workers tried making attendees wear their masks but with that many people in the park, social distancing was non existent.

Wait a minute! We’re in Utah‽ this place is great. Small town feel with big town fun! If you live or have visited Utah, you’ll know this is a family favorite of almost everyone. With Covid, we had to make reservations, but no biggie and the park was full but not overcrowded. Plenty of smaller rides and plenty of larger rides for extra excitement. Favorites are Cannibal, Wicked, and many others. This park had been putting plenty of money into new rides over the last few years. A must when you’re in town!

This place has really improved from when I was a kid. The rides are coming along nicely. Cleanliness is satisfactory. Can’t say anything about the carnival games myself. It adds to the fun if you stick out your tongue and tell Happy Halloween while making the ‘rock on’ sign with your hands.

Lots of fun for everyone.Downside is that theres a lot of people who love the place. We tried to go on Saturday and found that the entire main parking lot was full and the overflow on the grass field was getting close to filling up as well. So... not for us during a pandemic. Besides the pandemic that many people means longer lines. When it is not wall to wall people the place is pretty awesome though. Easy to see why it filled up.

Just really great family fun, something for most all ages from 2-122 or so. Small rides, big huge rides, medium rides, games, attractions, water park (even babies enjoy water) definitely a must visit if you come to Great Salt Lake region of Utah. The Cannibal the the 70 mph inverted rollercoaster ride that is not for the weak stomach. I found it to be very fun! They have the Rocket which has a blast off (shoots up at 4.5gs, at 200 feet tall it is by far the tallest ride. Attached is the reentry and it takes you up 200 feet really slow. Then falls at the same 4.5g and gives you the rush of falling, both rides are sitting straight up. Of course they have their oldest rollercoaster with the same name Rollercoaster. Its fun for heights above 42 or so with parents. All the amenities are super fun and they have an old time Utah Village that was replicas of Mormon settlers and antiques and old time shops. They have a few water rides and slides with or without tube. A lazy river for adults after running around forever. You can take a train ride (small train) around the pond and see animals, some think its sad but others love it. Go see what this place has to offer hours and hours of fun and tons of kiddie rides and adult rides. Oh and dont forget the new German themed beer garden its pretty cool.

We had so much fun. The lines werent bad at all. There are mask police everywhere telling you to put your mask on. There is really no point of masks when youre getting in rides that 10 people before you sat in and held. They only clean them every so often not after each ride. Not many listen to the social distancing in lines so the mask is really just a technicality. So if you dont mind the risk then its really worth going.

The place isnt too far from Salt Lake City. The wide variety of activities available is a nice feature. (Cannibal is my new favorite ride!) The fact that a water park is on the premises is convenient during summer months. Some pavement markings such as the ones at the water slides could be revised so thrill-seekers arent confused about an attraction and its corresponding line.

There are a decent mix of rides available at this park. There is a fairly large kiddie land, and several large roller coasters for those who are tall enough to ride them. Usually there are really good performances and shows, but they havent been available this year due in some way to COVID. The water park is great with slides, a lazy river, and pools. Everything is pretty pricey from the tickets to the parking to the food, but you dont go out to an amusement park expecting to save money.

Lagoon really does a fantastic job overall. They have rides for young children all the way up to adults. They have several eating and snacking options. They offer free lockers for up to an hour for various rides so you dont lose your stuff while on the ride. They allow you to bring in food and coolers and set up tents in some Pavilion and park areas. My favorite ride is Cannibal. It really is amazing. The landscaping and grounds are gorgeous! I love the pioneer village and all the neat artifacts they have including old buildings. Rattlesnake rapids is a super fun ride too. Plan on getting a little wet. most of the park is shaded because of mature trees. Go and have a fun time!

Great for little kids! We were a little worried about it being too hot, but there are lots of big trees and shade around most of the small rides. We went on a weekday and our kids didnt have any trouble with lines on the small rides. It did seem a bit pricey for our situation where we were just there to go on the little kids rides. They do have the option to buy tickets for individual rides, but that adds up really fast when each ride only lasts a minute and your there all day. That being said, the park is well staffed and maintained and clean.

Something about amusement parks always throw me through a loop. Maybe its the excessive amounts of people wandering aimlessly, children tethered to them on a cute animal leash. Or maybe its the unbelievablely long lines you must endure just to have a few moments to feel alive. Those moments where you plummet to the bottom of a hundred foot drop are exhilarating though.

I have been here soooo many times and I love it!! This place has been a classic for me ever since I was a kid. There is so much to do here and so much variety too! I would say that Ive had a few bad experiences with employees though. Which is why I didnt give this place a perfect 5 stars. Frightmares is the best time to go here by far. If you buy a ticket or have a pass, you can do all of the haunted houses and shows with no extra cost. I would also say that this years Frightmares collection hasnt been as good as years past though. But I understand because they are trying to have a bit more of a budget year because of corona. But hey, at least they are trying to do something for Halloween!! They have done an amazing job of improving the park by using the money they have gotten. Their Biergarten is amazing. They have also put in brand new bathrooms which were definitely needed. Their food at some places has gotten worse and at others, have vastly improved. I love having this place nearby. They are also building what looks like a new roller coaster on the other side of the park as well. I have been to lots of other amusement parks and what I love about this place is that they try so hard to get stuff thats unique. They have improved their terroride as well as their wooden roller coaster. Cannibal is amazing and probably one of my favorite rollercoasters ever. I would also recommend this place to families who want to have a lot to do for their kids. Its amazing how their kids section is so well themed also. This place also has a section called pioneer village which is perfect for Utah. It is a section with their two water rides (log flume and rattlesnake rapids). It has a bunch of houses that were built to look like how they did back when the pioneers settled. They have a campground here as well which is so much fun if you can get a spot. They have a trail behind it too which is really pretty and just another thing you can do in the area. This is a great place with lots to do, definitely recommend it if you live in the area!!!

Great park, except during any sort of public health crisis. The place is run by teenagers, so dont expect anyone to be enforcing the mask mandate or social distancing. They try at the haunted attractions, but theyre overwhelmed. Long waits for rides since they dont pack groups together anymore, but they also dont enforce the social distancing of the lines. I cant blame the employees, they probably make minimum wage and dont have the staff support to kick out non-compliant guests. No way the management is limiting capacity anymore like they claimed in July, as it was just as busy as any other year. Pretty clean. Bathrooms were updated and clean. Lots of trees and shade. Your can take your in food in and there are big pavilions with picnic tables. Lots of family friendly rides. Food prices compare to other theme parks. Cost of entry is too high compared to Six Flags, which has a whole lot more for not much more money. Then theres the zoo train. They have amazing tigers, lions, cougars, elk and other animals that are in tiny enclosures with CONCRETE floors. They are singular animals with no interaction with other animals. There is no dirt, grass, or areas to roam. No interactive activities. The enclosures were clean, and the animals looked healthy physically, but the overall quality of life seemed like it would be low. Very, very sadWe probably wont go back

I forgot what the ride was called but it was by the cannibal, it was blue and it spins you in a circle in the air. It was also by samurai and the dude working was just rude. We went to a gift shop 8-29-20 around 4 pm and it was called Fascination and the lady working there was so nice! She helped the little kids with their toys and was very kind. Oh. my. Goodness! What a mess!We traveled 12 hours to get here from Seattle and boy do we regret it...Let me save you all the headache and frustration.1. There is definitely not a covid safe “reduced capacity” that is a lie. They’re letting everyone flood in. Overflow parking was in use.2. Social distancing is virtually non existent as the park is overcrowded and it is not enforced.3. I did not observe rides being sanitized at all during my visit.4. Mask wearing was not enforced. Many guests were seen without wearing masks, even some employees were spotted.5. Lines were extremely long and not distanced what so ever. Expect to wait at least an hour no matter what line you’re in. Food, bathroom, haunt, rides...you’re going to be waiting a hot minute.6. Just be prepared to be extremely frustrated with the amount of people in the park. Even Disneyland in the middle of spring break was less hectic than this.Bottom line, this place claims to be following procedures. Claims they are at limited capacity. They are not. This is a hotspot for covid.Time wasted. Money wasted. Definitely don’t want to come back to the park now.If they don’t care about the safety of their patrons during a pandemic it makes you think about how much they will care after it.
