Asked a bouncer how his night was going while he was checking my ID and he said “was way better before i had to start talking to you” extremely rude staff. always so packed, no covid precautions.

Our group of 12 planned to eat supper downtown Fargo then attend the 7:30pm Blenders concert a few blocks away. We tried getting reservations at several other nearby restaurants but kept striking out. We felt lucky that the OB was able to accommodate us yet I was a bit leery of what the experience would be like; I hadn’t been to the OB in years and read some very mixed reviews. I must say I was very pleasantly surprised! Great waitress, service, apps, meals, drinks, prices! And relatively quiet, which is nice for conversations. The manager checked in with us twice and recommended some favorite dishes. Lastly, we appreciated that the waitress made sure to get our bill to us promptly since she knew we had to get to the concert. I will definitely check out the OB again when I’m looking for a good place to eat downtown.

Great bar. Shots are more than drinks I’ve noticed. Amazing jello shots in a syringe. Great servers. Dancing happens around 10 when everyone is finally drunk. Recommend!

OB Has added some awesome new things, New Drink Menu and New Smothered Mushroomed Sirloin. Yum . The Bread Pudding was awesome like the atmosphere. Definitely going back! SOON!

Fun place downtown that you can eat at with friends. My favorite part is that they have popcorn as an appetizer.

Usually a really great place but I was trying to drink water to sober up and the bartender hands me a random water from behind the counter. I asked him for a new one he just pointed at that and said Its a bar people order drinks here then walked away with a very poor attitude. luckily I went to the other section of the bar and the lady there poured me a new water no problem.

Great place to visit, great menu, really good food. The building is really cool as well. The day I was there, the Budweiser Stagecoach came by. Coolest thing ever!!!!

Funny how the owner only responds to good reviews. I cant find ONE poor review on this site, where they cared enough to reach out and say something to fix anything. Never have I felt ripped off more than every time I set foot in this place. Slow service. Over priced by far, small servings of mediocre food. And they dont care if you leave happy or not. Never has a manager attempted even the smallest effort at making things right. I would absolutely never choose to spend a dime here, except when I must attend a birthday dinner for a loved one. This is management at its worst. We literally use these experiences at the O.B. to talk with our children about how NOT to treat others. I could go on for ever with examples which we all have witnessed. Sad, VERY SAD excuse for such a potentially lovely dining experience.

It used to be a good place to grab a bite , but over the years the quality of food and service changed for the worst.We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to just ask us what we want to drink . Then another 10 minutes to get the drinks !!! This wait time is not acceptable when they just had 3 tables ( including ours )to take care of !

Its full of history and beautiful wood work.great ambiance..looking forward to our meals..walleye & 8 % Steak with great sides.The food arrived looks a smells better and tastes great

During the day, it has mediocre food and service. Very cool building though that is a pinnacle of down town Fargo. The nightlife is fun but a little dangerous. The dancefloor is packed and they have great music, but as woman I would never go alone because at night it is easily one of the sketchiest places in Fargo.

During the day, The Old Broadway has pretty good bar food and a large sidewalk patio for nicer weather... great for lunch or dinner.At night, its the only nightclub-esque place in town with a large dancefloor, a LOT of college students, and top 40s bumping. So if thats your scene, stop by.

All I have to say was I was Designated Driver for the night so I ordered a water and the bartender told me I should just get out if I wasnt going to buy a drink and be a paying customer. I dont respect that one bit. Based off that experience I will never return. Im sure this place would have potential but its ruined for me and my friends as well.

Managment is shoddy. Received a soft ban for jumping a fence to leave. I deserved it no big deal. A year later received a lifetime ban for calling to ask how much longer. Despite using my white voice I was told I was giving attitude while I said please and thank you... Oh well, cant ban me twice but I can review multiple times

Sorry OB, despite a cool period-style interior, you disappointed tonight.We were seated for barely a minute when our server asked if we ready to order.... our food.We ordered drinks... and they arrived in very dirty glasses.Food choices are varied. Similar menu to Applebee’s.Food was bland for the most part. And we only learned that after waiting five minutes for silverware. The server was unapologetic and even appeared annoyed that I asked.The Cajun chicken pasta was pretty good. Zesty and flavorful. Chorizo had a nice snap.Fettuccine “Alfredo” was pasty and low quality.... with shredded cheddar??!!!.“Grilled” chicken tasted like the dirty grill it was cooked on.For dessert we attempted the bread pudding. Although flavorful, its appearance was unappetizing; the off white “cream” liquid made us reluctant to dig in.Hopefully an off day. However, with so many choices in the area, we will likely not be back.

I love this place, there are always free drinks in the mens bathroom. Odell beckam Jr is the dj, Penny taps. This place is phenomenal.

Poor customer service. Took forever to get waited on, Oh, I didnt even know you were sitting here. Note, we were 2 booths from the front door. Our waiter was constantly sniffing (whats up with that)? We each ordered a meal & only I was served. Thank God, my friend had a glass of water and crackers because her food never came. Oh, so sorry well get the manager! The manager never came. Never heard a Thanks for coming, hope you enjoyed your meal! Poor service overall, not impressed. Will NOT be back.

Good dance club for the 20-somethings (early 20s that is), but not for those older than that. I monitor the police scanner on weekend overnights, and I hear at least 2 to 3 police calls there. Be careful kiddies.

The food was excellent! The service was great too! We were celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary with family! We were all impressed.

I had Chris as my waiter, great guy and server. He was fluid and flexible with when we were ready to order, checked in appropriately throughout the evening, and we never waited long for food or service . The Reuben sandwich I ordered was delicious. Id be happy to take another date there again soon. Also, wine club is amazing come any Thursday and ask to join!

Visited the restaurant and its one of the worst Ive tried in Fargo thus far. The Tuna Fusion was disgusted and flavorless. Chicken Tortia is one of my favorite but after trying thier version and has down on the bottom of the list. AVIOD THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

Was in town visiting NDSU to prepare myself for the fall. We stopped here after passing a burger place and we really enjoyed it. Our food was really good, the atmosphere was really calm and lovely, and I really liked our waiter Drew! He automatically got us refills and did a great job checking up on us! Will definitely visit again!! (-:

Our server, Jordan, was awesome! We ate here as a group of 8 on a Saturday at 7pm ish and we had very little wait time. Everyone LOVED their food and the Monte Cristo sandwiches were incredible! 10/10!!

My first time at a club and i walked in just smiling. The atmosphere was comfortable and the workers were pleasant, and the music was great. Im definitely going back!

This establishment is not military friendly at all. I am 36 years old and they would not except a military ID as valid at the door. They said a military ID is only valid for getting me to pieces and not valid anyway else. I just got back from Afghanistan I can go find it nor there but I cant get into in my own country with my military ID. Shame on these people.

First visit to Fargo and our bartender Josh made the experience Amazing! We did the bar pub crawl and ended the night with Josh because of his Friendly and hype attitude! Thank you so much and the chesse cruds were Yummy! I know my chesse. Lol from Wisconsin till next time!

Awesome bar to drink at.

The OB grill is a great place to eat. The dance floor is always packed, but its usually a young crowd. The more experienced downtown people stay away, its a bit sketchy.

The ahi tuna fusion sandwich is superb! Our server was welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly.I have eaten here multiple times and highly endorse it!

I broke a shot glass. They threw me out, by the collar, into -10 degree weather. Dont go to this place.

The place is always packed and kinda dirty but you always seem to have a good time here but if you want to talk to people this isnt the place to be because you wont hear anyone only music. For best service go to the North End and ask for Chase R. best bartender in the the whole place.

Asked what were the specials for cinco de mayo. He didnt say Coronas like it said on their website. I ordered 2 bottles thinking they were on special. He told me $11 dollars. I said nevermind I will take my money back. He wouldnt give me my money back. He then said taps were on special. I said well thats what I meant because I asked whats on special. Still wouldnt help me. Good customer service should look out for customers especially when they are offering specials; rather than overcharging a customer who isnt familiar with their service. First time customer here. Watch out people they are going to try and rip you off!!

Very hard to order a drink after it gets busy in here, bartenders seem prejudiced and will disregard who has been waiting the longest which can bring frustration levels soaring.The dance floor is cool but becomes intolerably crowded as a weekend night progresses, getting to the point where your range of movement can hardly exceed the space youre already occupying.Generally, the collective attitude of this place makes me lose faith in humanity every time. This scene is utterly dominated by the madness of the ego although this is typical of the entire 2 block radius of the downtown area.There are a lot of really decent drunk people in bars all across town on any given night, this seems to be where the horrible ones converge.

Not worth it. Ever since theyve changed the menu they have cheapened out. They charge more for less food. What was once the smothered steak or smothered chicken were the best of the restaurant. Now gone and replace with the same smothered with pasta. Along with hamburgers at around $8 that are not good (They were really good before) and dont even include fries! It was once a great restaurant where I would take my family and it never disappointed. Not worth coming back again, theres better places to eat in downtown Fargo.

The only thing I like about this bar are there brink specials.... Good time to show up is 8p.m. and leave by 10:30 at the latest. If you stay any longer youll be surrounded by a bunch of idiots.

At night this place turns into a pretty wild night club. The drinks arent super expensive, the music is very loud, and it is packed with people no matter where you go. Its a great spot if youre looking to get drunk and dance, but not so much if you want to have a chill night out.

Eh, it was alright. Food tasted good but looked rather un-inspiring. Staff was the worst part. I was only person at the bar, do you think any of the 5 staff members hanging out at the end of the bar bothered to try to engage in conversation? Nope, not once.

Their customer service is very poor. Bar tender (Alex) acted very rude only because My Friday shouted to get his attention to serve us. He(Alex) made the commit that he hates blacks which I think its racist and afterwards call security guard to ask us. The security guards came ask us to leave not even getting or inquiring our side of the story. I fell so embarrassed cause My only came from Boston to spend the weekend.

4/10/18. 6pm l ordered a French dip (no cheese) fries and coke. Mind you I am the only table occupied, infact the only customer in there. My order came and low and behold there was cheese. I could have overlooked it if there were more customers. I dont think I will be back.

Theres a few parts to the OB. The ok sports zone, the kind-of-sketchy nightclub part, and the restaurant proper. The restaurant side, sweet baby jeebus, the beer-cheese mac and cheese is amazing.

Its tempting to squeeze Andrew Wiseheart and Ben Edgertons sibling restaurants into a Beatrix Potter narrative. Contigo is the country mouse – happy with the slow pace and hospitality of small town ND (albeit a small town where Wagyu is in plentiful supply). Gardner is the city mouse – adept at pomp and politesse, quite taken with the pleasures of the new. The monkey brain was a little bit salty, but the white ant eggs did this place justice.
