I wasn’t sure about the DJ (Seth) that was chosen for my wedding because he had messed up the songs I wanted multiple times. Steve the manger, reassured me that he was in his top 5 out of 20. Seth did a good job for my wedding ceremony but after it was a disaster. He was very unprofessional and I’m so embarrassed. He danced the whole time (not appropriately) and when asked to do his job, he took the mic and called out my guest. He forgot about the dollar dance, the newly wed game, bouquet toss, garder toss and also asked if he could take my bouquet home. Extremely unprofessional. The manager Tyler did listen to me when I called the next day, but still asked for full payment. He also told me the other manager Steve would call me and make it right, and he has still yet to answer my 3 emails or give me a call.I trusted Powerplay Dj with their word, and I ended up humiliated on my wedding day. I will not be recommending them.

Wed recommend Travis at Powerplay DJ again and again! We had an outdoor tent wedding in October in Minnesota, well, it was a winter wonderland! Travis did not disappoint; we had the best time and while a 1/4 of our guests couldnt make it due to road conditions, I swear Travis had 200+ guests on the dance floor at all times.He asked what music we wanted, but we also agreed to whatever he felt was necessary to keep the party going. When people say it was the best day ever, it truly was the best day ever. We had so many compliments about how this is the best wedding ever! From formal Catholic church clothes to additional leggings, boots, and snow jackets on the dance floor–thanks for keep the party energized from start to finish!

Our DJ Tyler was awesome to work with. He communicated with us leading up to the wedding to make sure every detail was in place, and checked in with us throughout the wedding reception. He kept guests of all ages on the dance floor throughout the evening and everyone had a blast!

From start to finish we couldnt have asked for a better experience! I initially booked with Powerplay DJ after talking to them at one of the Bridal shows in the F/M. Travis was our DJ and I would highly recommend him! He was very helpful with the planning process and was quick to answer my questions. I hired Powerplay DJ for my wedding reception. Travis and Missy were great to work with! They went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the song selections and play for the evening, and they were very flexible as well.I had my sister play the bagpipes during the wedding partys grand entrance. Hardly conventional, but Travis and Missy rolled with it. They helped call everyone out to the dance floor and announced us, but the bagpipes were still the star of that particular section. We had also planned to do a bouquet toss, but at the last minute I couldnt find my bouquet so Travis and Missy cancelled it.They were also great at reading the crowd and keeping everyone engaged. They played some slower songs and polkas for the older couples, and kept my cousins on the dance floor until the end of the evening. They even brought little giveaways like inflatable guitars that were a hit with the kids.They were on time and got everything set up without any hassle. They acted as MCs and made all the announcements. They always checked with me to make sure they were pronouncing everyones name right, had the right order of events, knew who was giving speeches, etc.Overall, they were great to work with, and I would definitely hire them for another event.

We requested Trek with Powerplay DJ over a year before our wedding because we loved him at a friends wedding he was DJ for. He was so upbeat, was able to get the crowd up and have fun. We love the way he interacted with every age! Out on the floor dancing and just having a blast with us. Almost didnt seem like he was working he made it so much fun! Powerplay DJ is the best!! We attended a wedding reception 2 weeks ago at the Ramada. We had so much fun because not only did the music rock but it was at a perfect level where we could still talk and hear each other. When we walked by the other receptions most of the people were in the hallway because the music was so loud you couldnt carry on a conversation. I was very impressed with Powerplay DJ and when my daughters get married, I will be calling Powerplay DJ!!

Blake and Powerplay DJ did a phenomenal job DJ’ing our wedding. First off, Powerplay DJ as whole gave off a very nice professional vibe and they were prompt in returning phone calls, in sending out the services available via mail, and returning any e-mails that I had. In today’s day in age, that says a lot and it made my decision to go with them an easy one. With that, Blake was willing to meet with my husband and I the week of the wedding to discuss the music we would like played and to pan out the details. I really liked that we were able to do this and meet face-to-face. We also decided to go with some dinner music and boy are we glad that we did! Blake played a fabulous array of songs that fit perfectly for dinner music and then for the dance, he was spot on, playing all of the songs we wanted, taking requests, and playing music that fit the crowd that was out on the dance floor at any given time. Lastly, I had several people tell me that our DJ/music was the best wedding dance music they have heard in a long time and they were quite impressed. Blake had great energy throughout the night; he was fun, and also professional which made for a fantastic night. So thanks again Powerplay DJ and Blake for a job well done!

I cant say enough good things about Power play. Our DJ was Kendle, and I would recommend him to anyone, anytime. He was prompt, rolled with the punches when we ran into set up issues, worked with our friend who was singing our first dance to make sure he had the correct hookups as well as time to do a sound Check, handled our crazy (read: excited, buzzed, and inattentive) wedding party for our grand entrance, and kept our guests entertained with all their requests all night. The DJ had the music so loud at the wedding dance in Mooreton. that you couldnt even come close to talking. People were having to stand outside so that they could visit. The bride asked him twice to turn it down and the DJ refused. A lot of people left because they had headaches and were sick of it so loud. I would not use this DJ if it he was FREE. We have been to weddings DJd by Harmon Entertainment and he does a way better job.

The only hiccup we had wasnt anyones fault and that was that the power went out, but Ryan stayed until I told him to call it a night determined to be there to play if the power came back (which it didnt until the next day). Most horrible experience ever, we were to meet powerplay at 1 pm for set up time, no show, tried to call the DJs cell phone, it was turned off,,finally had family sent messages to everyone for a replacement, by 2 pm we found a replacement, at 2;30 I received a call from another dj from powerplay, saying he was doing our wedding, really as if planning a wedding isnt stressful enough, appartently powerplay knew our dj wasnt going to be there, no calls nothing from them until 2;30 and we needed them by 5, sad but true they really ruined our day
