Nice walk along a stream with a traditional playground for little ones. Also across the street from one of the original 40 boundary markers that defined the 100 square like good of DC. In a year or so there will also be a big kid playground there, but it was still under construction in 2020.

The entrance on the E Jefferson street side is hard to find and there is no sign. But the park and the trail was great. The brook had running water and there were kids playing in the brook. We even saw two dear a block from the park in a houses backyard.

I think its really called CrossMan like the church up the hill, across from another (Baptist? Near new CaBi bike share station) church and near SunRise senior living. Maybe back in the day had all the land from stream up to church. Anyways its a must walk bike thru small gravel / dust like with narrow turns. Some WildLife seen and rather quiet. Improvements made, and have an autogen stylized photo gPhoto did of that, I might dig up some time to post here. With construction of Lee hwy w&od overpass and detours wonder others dont find this park. Walking to road option I thought was only private but between buildings back offshoot going South?
