They offer a wide variety of affordable summer camps, and registration is online and easy. But the before and after care programs are a let-down. Theyre run by teens or maybe early twenty-somethings, and the kids are mostly left to their own devices inside the basketball gym area. The counselors seem put out to even look at the kids, let alone ensure no one is being bullied or otherwise made to feel unwelcome. My son has attended three different weeks so far this summer, and each week has included a significant negative experience that couldve been prevented by more engaged staff. The final straw was when my son asked me to please but make him go back. Hes 7. This has never happened before, but that was enough for me. If you dont need the before and after care, this might be a good option. But Id steer clear otherwise.
