Its a place to explore, learn about and just genuinely take in nature and history in 1 memorable place. Easy to get to and easier to become lost or disoriented; So if you arent familiar,or with a local please dont rely on your phone you most likely will NOT have Cell service.

Well maintained trails that wander through woods, wetlands, and meadows. Signage is excellent.

Really amazing property with some epic stone walls and foundations. There are tons of trails, from wooded paths to carriage roads. Its a perfect property for families as most of the trails are very stroller and kid friendly. Theres even a lovely little covered picnic area right off one of the main paths. Some simple little loops through the property make it perfect for a quick hike when you just need to get some green space. The only downside is that I had a hard time navigating to the parking areas, even with the help of the Trustees official guide. Hopefully improvements will be made to the listing on Google Maps so people can wayfind more easily.

Great walk. Watch out for the dog ! Went at end of March and there are lots of trees downed from recent storms blocking the paths. Not impossible to get over or around but the kids and dogs may not agree. There are ruins, stonewalls, and plenty of photo opportunities here. Looking forward to returning in the fall.

We took a nice 5¼ mile hike through Copicut in mid Oct 2014 during peak foliage to see a very nicely laid out, gently sloped, well maintained and very clearly marked trail system through the quintessential New England wood. Trails often go beside stonewalls, some quite impressive, and some, I am convinced, built with a bit of whimsy as well as the foundations and well of the Isaac Miller homestead last occupied in the 1800s. There is even an ancient cow tunnel that any modern day teen would love to traverse beneath the cart path. One area called Miller Lane is stunning in its fall beauty with a serene view (from a one-piece granite bench) worthy of a dentists office. A most pleasant couple of hours.
