Brand new to archery, the service representative who helped me was very informative and explained to me in detail about how to maintain and take care of my bow. Also, he let me shoot my bow for the first time just to find out i accidently bought the wrong sided bow online....A very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, will definitely go back again for all my archery needs when I get my lefty bow!

I recently purchased a re-curve bow and needed to learn how to use it properly.I took a one hour class at Trader Jans and was lucky enough to get John as an instructor. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough and gave me his undivided attention for one hour. I will definitely will be going to Trader Jans for all my archery needs.

Awesome customer service, they setup me up with a great starter setup to get me out in the field. John got my new setup dialed in and was super helpful when looking to pickup any accessories offering his advice and why he suggests it. I will be visiting this shop again even though its almost a 2 hour drive for me each way. You wont get this kind of attention to detail from a box store. Thank you Trader Jans!

Ive only been once and I was late because I didnt know the hours. They guys still showed me the whole place talked me through their services and were very knowledgeable! Seem like a bunch of great guys and cant wait to go back soon! The only thing I suggest is a serious hour change... most hunters or archers are workers with families. That means we work till 5 or 6pm by the time we have dinner and can get there its 7pm. An hour just isnt enough or we go early morning but they arent open mornings. Most places Ive grown up around are open till 9 or 10. And not open till later on Saturday or on sundays at all is beyond disappointing.

AMAZING service here and decent prices. Its hard for these local shops to compete with pricing online but their knowledgeable and helpful staff makes up for the price difference easily (and its not that much more here anyways). Their pro shop services are affordable and I trust their staff to do the job satisfactorily. They also have indoor ranges (including a 3D range) with affordable rates and rental gear.

We tired archery for the first time. It was an hour experience with an instructor. He was professional and helpful to learn how to do. It was a very nice price for the experience. We had fun.

Grate shop, Awesome knowledgeable and certified bow technicians, grate prices, great selection of bows and accessories. They make in house custom strings for compounds, cross bows and traditional bows and they back there strings can’t get any more USA then that! There hours are awesome there open Tuesday -Saturday which personally is awesome for hunting season ! They even did me a solid after a fellow competitor destroyed my bow because the gentleman had no clue what he was doing .... my buisness will continue to be with Trader Jan’s Archery Pro Shop and not on the eastern side of Taunton! Because at traders they care and want to take care of you!

This shop is amazing since the first day i stepped in it was nothing but helpful insight my love for archery and bowhunting. This shop is a no pressure sale place and dont push egos great for family and kids . You wont be dissapointed!

Asked for help setting pins paid $165 and they still didnt set my pins guy said he couldnt help me without better form.....went to reedys archery in Middleborough and pins set all the way out to 60 yards.

Last year was the first year I started getting into archery. And I must say that I am no where near as educated as I should be and I made this evident. I was helped by an individual (not Jill) and felt like I was more of an inconvenience, like there was a lot of people there when there were maybe 2 other people in the retail part of the shop.The person who set up my bow just didnt seem to want to be bothered with a lot of the questions I had to ask, and made me feel completely undervalued. After getting a rest put on and arrows cut, I was asking about a release, and it was an 80$ release. The individual asked if I wanted to buy it, and I told them I would have to try it first. The response was you can go take a shot with it. There was no indication to make sure that the bow was sighted in and that I was comfortable etc.The drive was about an hour with traffic from where I live in Stoughton. I had also inquired earlier in the day about the newest Obsession bow that retails around 1000$ and after that experience I will not return to this location and will buy an Obsession elsewhere.** I updated this review to 4 stars after apology from the shop. I will most likely give the shop another shot.

Had alot of fun. It was my first time using a bow, a recurve at that. Pricing is cheap. You realize that shooting an arrow is actually entertaining. Aiming was difficult but once you strung a few, youd get how to aim.

My girlfriend and i took an hour drive tonight to have her bow tuned and i must say the amount of attention professionalism and care that was given especially right before closing was impressive, i havent seen that much care given in a while, you guys definitely earned our business

Good Selection * Friendly Staff * No PressureI brought two of my boys in today to set them up with a beginners archery kit. Rather than try to upsell me, the friendly salesperson took me to a beginners rig in my older sons size, set it up, and gave both my boys a short lesson to refresh what theyd learned at Cub Scout camp.This doesnt sound like much, but Im so accustomed to shops trying to upsell me that it was just nice to go in, get what I needed, have it set up properly, and head on my way with a smile. I spoke with three different members of the staff during my visit, and felt like Id made three new friends. If archery remains a diversion for a pleasant afternoon, Im confident I have everything I need. If my boys get into the sport and decide to get serious about, I know where Im going to take the next step.

NO PRESSURE and very welcoming. Staff is very knowlageable and helpful. Will show you everything you need to know. I didnt feel stupid asking questions I felt I should have known but was new to the sport.

I went here twice, each time they were closed. These hours are not for hunters, they are for God only knows who. They are not even open Sundays! Ill go to Reedys instead, its a much better shop anyway.
