The Red Fox is the best bar in Fairbanks. Full stop. Its also got some of the best food in town, and absolutely the best burgers. Great place for lunch or dinner.The staff are always super friendly and fun, the drinks are reasonably priced and reasonably boozy, and the food is absolutely stellar. Like...I cannot stress enough how yummy their food is. Best fries anywhere in Alaska - try the sidewinders. Ive never once ordered food from here and been disappointed. For example...the veggies that come out with a burger or in a salad are always fresh and crisp - you never get gross, yellow-brown lettuce here.There are also a bunch of nice pool tables and dart boards.

Asked where the best wings in Fairbanks was, I was told Red Fox. OMG the best wing I have had and worth the drive. Get there!

The wait staff was slow i waited 15 minutes after I was seated for a waitress to help me .I was about to walk out! Finally I got to put in my order . Had a drink and ordered another it never came! Took for ever for my food! And finally after about an hr I got my food and had to cancel my drink I never got ! Very poor srvice.

Great fries. Nice servers. Good prices. Definitely a sports bar, so if thats what youre looking for youre in the right place. If you want a quiet restaurant this isnt for you lol

Take your time and take it all in. If youre in a hurry you should pass. But if youre looking for a moment in time to reflect, drink ,eat and play some games with some nice people the go ahead and visit this spot.

I found this place while visiting Fairbanks on business. Good food, good drinks, mostly friendly bartenders, billiards and a lively and friendly crowd. One of the better spots in town.Try the pizza or wings, and ask Annie to make you a gin martini or old fashioned. Dont forget to tip your server well!

Giving you guys a 5 star because of her excellent attitude and service! The last time I was there to pick up my to go order it took me 15 min just to get someone attention and I still had to wait another 15min to get ring out! Best service in Fairbanks. I was in Fairbanks for a couple months and almost everywhere we went service was terrible, however this place was great. Waitress was very attentive, food was great, beer was cold, atmosphere was good. Will visit again if in Fairbanks.

Great Place to play pool, pull tabs, meet up with friends, grab a bite to eat, watch a game, get a drink. And have some fun. I dont drink. But I drink soda. But I get the same respect as if I was a patron as a drinker.

Great pot stickers, semi good garlic parmesan chicken wings only because the 1st time they came out they did NOT have enough parmesan and it wasnt good plus a wing was broken in half and the bone was exposed. Another dish I had was the cheesy bread which was excellent. The drink service was very good with getting the orders correct.

Service was awful, didn’t ask if we were interestingIn food after finally getting drinks (45 minutes)? And we were told after asking that we should “flag down a server” if we want service. Absolutely awful. There are much better establishments in Fairbanks, don’t waste your time at this place.

The Red Fox is a nice little sports bar a small but excellent menu. We had the Red Fox Special Pizza. Great flavor, perfect crust. Will bee coming back to try more of the menu.Down side it is small so it is noisy but the food makes up for it.

Good beer and liquor, great drink knowledge. Ford is pretty good, garlic parmesan wings were delicious.

Kitchen staff can make some awesome food! Servers and bartenders pretend you aren’t there when they are busy, seems to be understaffed and the staff that is there has given up on trying. Hope they get it figured out because the food and atmosphere is usually good. 3 weekends in a row we’ve had to go elsewhere because we couldn’t get served food or drinks after sitting at a table for 30-45 minutes.

Upon our arrival in town we asked our taxi driver where there is good pizza. He recommended Red Fox. He was absolutely correct! Some of the best pizza Ive had! We came in on a Wednesday afternoon when it was slow and received excellent service and were given some great tips on local places to check out. Ordered Sicilian and Greek pizza. Both were baked to perfection!Came back in Friday for dinner before leaving town (it was that good we came twice) and had great pizza again, Greek, and ordered a salad which was huge! Not sure what was going on as far as staffing, however, as there was only one server working every table and we ended up waiting over an hour for our bill. I would still recommend and come back if I ever find myself near Fairbanks again.

Food is delicious and service is fast! We had a pizza and potstickers today at lunchtime and they did not disappoint. I have eaten burgers here in past and they were wonderful, too.

Went on a Friday night. There was a good crowd but it wasnt rowdy. They have pool tables, dart boards etc. Friendly bartenders and a good selection on tap. No complaints.

Omg the service was horrible. I had to find the waitress and she was nothing but rude and immature when she came to service us. Waited about 30 minutes before heading to the bar and had great service. I think Lexie was the waitress.

Bouncer was rude and didn’t know how to do his job. Refused to accept my valid ID because it was out of state, after accepting out of state IDs of my friends. He was very impolite and this place has lost my and my friends business forever

Pizza is great and the service is usually good too. This last time I was here in March though... Both the bar tender and the wait staff were rude and forgot our pizza just sitting at the pick up. I finally went and grabbed it myself after 10 minutes of watching it sit there (which irritated our waitress but whatever at that point).

If you’re Mexican, legitimate & valid government issued IDs will get you cursed out by the manager and kicked out by her staff for no other reason. As they did on early New Years Day of 2019.Alaska law forbids this type of discrimination as does US federal law and yet I imagine they’ll do the same with anyone from any other country or even fellow brown indigenous peoples of Alaska.Take your money to another business and let the debauchery of this place rot it out & drive it to the ground.

Wifes wings were delivered in tinfoil folded at the end. However, the cook left half the oil in the tinfoil, drowning half the wings in oil, being served to her. They were well seasoned just shouldnt be delivering wings soup.

The pizza was good and the place was pretty nice, but the service was terrible. we ordered a pizza and as soon as we got it I asked our waiter for the bill. She said she will bring it on her way back. We played a few games of pool while we waited for the bill. The waiter came by a few time and asked if we needed anything else. I asked for the bill for our pizza again and se said she will go get it. After about 30 min we still didnt have the bill. We walked up to the bar and explained the situation. We were ready to leave and wanted our bill. The bar tender said theres nothing I can do, go talk to your waiter. We went to go ask the waiter for the bill again. She was talking to one of her co workers next to the bar. I stood there for a few min waiting for her to finish her conversation so I could ask her for our bill. She didnt even acknowledge me when I tried to get her attention. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I should not have to hunt for my bill to pay for a pizza.

This bar is ok. Its not very clean and the atmosphere is lacking. Bartenders lack some typical ingredients for cocktails too.

Lots of regulars, good food, cheap strong drinks, and pool tables. Usually a reasonable crowd on weekend nights. Can get a little divey in the day.

Came at midnight or shortly after on a sat night wanting food and drinks and the kitchen was closed which was disappointing since I didnt realize that and would have gone elsewhere so i could have dinner. A server never came to my table to get me a drink so i finally jist went and sat at the bar top and was taken care of. Good drinks though and the price is good. Ill give it another try

I have been going to the Red Fox for over three years now, and it has been the hang out spot of choice of me and all my friends during this time. When I meet transplants to Fairbanks, the place I have always given my FULL recommendation WAS the Fox. The food has always been some of the best I can find in town, especially the cheesesteak, the appetizer sampler, fried green beans, and the cheesy garlic bread. This has been my order of choice always and I have never been disappointed in the quality and consistency in quantity. I placed two orders for take out in the past month and a half. The first time, I noticed they started adding pot stickers to the appetizer sampler and reduced the number of other items, and they also changed the cheesy bread to a much less satisfying pizza style item. This was fine though, the variety was there and the price checked out to what I was used to on the receipt. The last time I went in and placed the same identical order, my appetizer sampler was totally missing fried green beans, and there were smaller quantities of everything else also. Also on my receipt I noticed The fox was now charging fifty cents per take out box, the cheesesteaks has risen two dollars each in price and were on different, cheaper, bread (which was not reflected on the online menu). I spoke with the bartender who took my order who told me that they were out of green beans and apologized at least for not being compensated, but also continued to argue prices had gone up five months ago, when i had just been there two weeks prior. She also contested with me that the portions were getting smaller in the appetizer sampler, even though I have eaten it probably twenty times. To top it all off, once I got home and started eating my garlic bread I found two very long hairs cooked INTO the cheese. Sorry Red Fox, But I have been increasingly unimpressed with your food and prices over the past six months. If you want to continue to be held as having the best bar food in Fairbanks, something has got to change. Until it does I will not be eating there nor will I be recommending my friends to either.
