Food and ticket prices good and the staff is very friendly

Great place to watch movies. Only Theatre in town that offers IMAX and 3D. We enjoy our movie nights and they had enough of cashiers and ticket agents to get us through in a timely manner. Recommend this place for all.

Need to have a dedicated movie ticket register. Not everyone buys snacks at the same time movie tickets are being purchased.

The Movie was excellent !) Staff was exceptional and helpful and accommodating. Seat were wonderful, sound quality was immersive. Then you cant beat, the perfect movie on the big screen!Four stars because the popcorn wasnt what it used to be, hot buttery goodness that melts in your mouth.I miss my favorite greeter, that helped with all pertinent information

Nice theater for what it it. The best value is the unlimited pass. For $25 a month you have unlimited access to regular movies and 10% off concessions. Regular matinee tickets are $13. In the winter the theatre can be quite chilly so dress warm or bring a blanket. Large parking lot so no issues there

We waited 40 minutes in line to get tickets tonight. Arriving 15 minutes early wasn’t nearly enough time. Ended up having to choose a later showing due to the movie already starting. This could have been alleviated if they used their box office or made a line only for tickets at the concession Management should have known this would be an issue during the holidays. Good thing the in-laws are in town and we aren’t paying extra for a sitter.

Came here with some friends of my daughter to see Gretel and Hansel. The staff was friendly and the venue is very clean. They could use an update and their chairs but other than that we have no complaints, definitely a fun time.

With covid, their is allot of spots to choose were u want 2 sit, + no talking

Well its the only option in town... I have been late to getting into seeing the beginnings of the movie because of waiting over 45 minutes at the snack bar just to have my food forgotten and I end up getting a refund. This has happened twice! I also needed up waiting over 30 minutes once waiting for them to brew coffee. They started it, water only- forgot the coffee and then forgot that I was waiting for it. But seriously the quality control there is a joke. Its ran by someone who doesnt appear to car about making sure things are running smoothly and efficiently.

Watched the new sonic movie. Theater was packed but we still got drinks quickly at concession. Theater was clean, quiet and comfortable.

I love Regal Goldstream & IMAX.One of my favorites places to go watch movies, any time of year.Their shows are both new releases and very recently released, so you always have a great selection of movies to choose from.Thank you Regal Goldstream & IMAX.

Great movies and decent prices. Just be careful when you catch the matinee. On five occasions I purchased the IMAX ticket only to find out it was regular showing.

Great movie theater! Very clean, staff was friendly, seats were comfortable, sound quality was great and screen and picture quality were on par. We had some time to pass before catching a flight and decided to pop over to this theater and catch a movie. So happy we did! Its close to the airport and was a great way to pass the time!

The theater is pretty decent as a whole, but the individual screen rooms are always dirty. They aren’t being cleaned between movies and its a bit frustrating.

Absolutely horrible customer service for tickets...a theme park line with one teller. Came 10 minutes early and got in about 15 minutes late and was no longer able to book online. No wonder so many people just left...nice first impressions ; )

By far one of our favorite places to go for Date Night. Always clean facilities and that includes the theatre floors as well as the restrooms. Just wish we could get our hot food faster. If you havent been, go. If youre a regular, make sure you pick up a FREE Regal Crown Club Card. Great sneak peaks and movie regalia to earn.

Went to see Maleficent tonight. Great movie.My comments are about the theaters recent policy change to assigned seats. We purchased our seats online to avoid the lines at the ticket windows & it saves paper. We get to the theater, our seat assignments changed numbers. Ok, not to big a deal. We go to sit down & we are squeezed into our row with no room to move around. Like sardines squished in a can. The person next to me & I were touching thighs the entire movie. Total strangers at that. We could not use the arm rests, no room. Thinking that the movie would be full, we stayed where we were assigned. Realized after the start of the show nearly all the seats behind us were empty. Assigned seating is not a good idea or remodel seats to make more room, please. Disappointed in that change.

Enjoyed the movie, but they had the ticket counter closed with a sign to go to concessions... those lines were all 20 people deep... disappointing.

Since its the only theater here, its always a good experience. Of course, everything is overpriced but what theater isnt. They do offer the dollar movies during the summer for children which is awesome! I have never had a bad encounter with any of the staff. Great place overall.

Our family of four went to a matinee of the Star Wars movie today. Great film but I think our family is done with seeing movies at the theater. Having to buy tickets at the concession stand and most importantly having assigned seating makes it not worth the money anymore. I want to be able to go in a choose seating based on who is in the theater. If there is a group of loud teenagers, we normally would just sit on the other side of the theater. With assigned seating there was no way to know who you are sitting next to. I think we will only be back if they lose the assigned seating. We are willing to wait for the dvd/digital version otherwise.

I always went here to watch movies with my family for years. (Since I was little.) Its a great place, and went here with many friends. Workers are nice, and the food is great!

Staff was really nice and supportive. I was waiting for my friend to see a movie around the time they usually lock the doors and this employee said that hell be sure to open it when he sees him. The movie was also enjoyable , I watched the new Aladdin and it gave me some laughs

Decent theater but poorly managed. This tickets at the concessions has to stop. Posting this currently in line, got here at 6 for a 630 movie, it’s 624 and the line hasn’t moved halfway. Terrible. Was like this the last three movies. Unfortunately you have no competition so not surprised.

Staff is great, prices are decent. The speakers sound like the attendant fell asleep on the switchboard. Ive never watched a movie at this place that wasnt IMAX until recently. Both times, the speakers were damn near turned off. Ive confirmed this is the max volume with management. I have no idea how these people are charging full price for this experience.... Oh wait, yes I do. Its the only theater in Fairbanks. I should of asked for my money back, but I think they need it more than I do. Thats not a joke.

Regal seems really committed to increasing the commercial and preview time before the films. Nearly 30 minutes of it, yuck. And this particular theater seems to have difficulty turning the house lights down when the movie starts. I always run out to let them know but that only sometimes fixes it. Concessions are painfully slow, but at least the staff is friendly. Disappointing that this is our only choice for movie going in Fairbanks.

Ill tell you what, I got the best damn customer service from the floor staff. The popcorn was superb! The alpha male who helped me (James) was the most badass guy I have ever spoken to. He even asked me how my day was doing! 10 out of 10, would go again. PS, James also has the sickest moustache in the seven kingdoms.

For a having a local Monopoly this place should be cheaper or better.

I enjoy movies, but having to buy a ticket at the concession stand is not a good idea in my opinion. We are currently standing in line with barely any movement. Very slow and frustrating. What is the logic of this and assigned seats?

We emphatically abhor having to stand in the concession food line to buy tickets to get into the show. This theater closed the ticket selling in the entry lobby. We have no interest in buying over priced junk food, and standing in slow line for tickets. A non- food purchasing line for ticket only buyers would be the best solution for movie going customers. We dont wish to pay an extra fee to purchase online tickets as movie tickets are high priced already. Grrrr!!!

Cold popcorn is gross. There was fresh popcorn popping away but they were handing out cold, pre-bagged popcorn. Also, there were kids running up and down the steps and all across the theater squealing and yelling and no one did anything about it, even after we brought it to the staffs attention. I have nothing against kids I have two, but going to the movies isnt cheap these days and it kind of ruined the experience.

Lack of employees is frustrating. We do not like standing in concession line to buy a movie ticket.

Incredibly expensive for a really basic theatre. We pay less for the really comfy huge recliner movie theatre chairs back at home, and I get that things in Alaska are a little more pricey but this is just excessive. Ill be skipping the theatre and waiting for the DVDs next time so I can watch in my own recliner chair at home for free.

Why do you have to wait in the concession line to buy tickets? I just want tickets not the ridiculously overpriced popcorn and drinks. Bring back the box office line or not coming back.

When there is a good movie viewing it can be packed, overwhelmingly packed and the lines are long for snacks and refreshments.

For the only movie theater within 50 miles its good. Usually lines or a long wait for concessions and movie theater tends to be cold (as they all tend to be). Employees are 9 times out of 10 nice and courteous. Rewards program is nice as well.IMAX is not as nice as other the others I’ve been to.

By far the slowest theatre I’ve ever been to.. and I’ve been to many.The ticket counter, slow. Concessions, slow.However they’ve combined them.You would think it would be faster. Unfortunately it’s still slow, now with more people in line.The only time the speeds were decent was during the avengers release.

The only reason I give it a 2 is because its the only theater in Fairbanks. Why was a mother and her 1 year old escorted out by 3 EMPLOYEES? Today, at a 11:00am showing of IT 2, a family (True Alaska Sourdoughs in Fairbanks since 1988) told they had to leave the movie due to the policy that minors are not allowed in the movie theater. Actually, minors are allowed to watch any movie with their parent. I definitely understand when you go to the movies you want to enjoy it without the noises of a baby or children. Thats not the issue for me, because I do not want to hear crying as well. However, 3 EMPLOYEES were needed to remove a grandmother, her grown daughter, and 1 year old, seriously? I call that excessive force. All that needed to be done, was to have 1 manager/supervisor inform the family, instead of treating them like criminals.

Its the only theater in town. Movie ticket prices in general have gotten more expensive pretty much every where including Goldstream So, I look for ways to get cheaper tickets- vouchers, online deals etc otherwise it feels like a rip-off. Food is not great and too expensive. I eat before going. What makes it worth going to the theater is nothing to do with the venue - its the *experience* of viewing a movie when it first comes out on the big screen and enjoying it with people in the theater. Thats what I pay for.

Always a great experience to watch a movie here. The IMAX is a bit overpriced co.pared to what you get at a theater with an actual IMAX. Sneak in your candy. At the prices they are selling them, they could be buying them at the gas station across the street and still be making 175% profit.

Older style chair theater but it wasnt too bad. Only annoyance was having to wait in the concession line just to purchase a ticket. After 10 min of only moving up one spot, just bought the ticket online and went straight to the usher.

I dont if it was just bcuz it was a matinee, but you had to buy tickets at the concession and we got there 20 minutes b4 the movie start and we waited about 25 minutes in line, to me it would have made more sense to have at least 1 ticket person. We went to see Frozen 2, which I expected alot of kids, we were not buying concession food as I promised McDonalds afterwards, there were several families with multiple children so it took forever, just to get our tickets. We were not buying food just tickets so we had to wait for them to receive their tickets and food, so a ticket agent would have helped in our situation

They quit having a separate area to purchase tickets and force you to go into concession like to get them. Standing here 30 min is not fun not even at register yet....Even if you buy online, you still have to deal w the now long lines to get food.On top of it their lids on the fountain soda dont stay put so be careful of it spilling on you

I got the tickets online, and just showed my phone to the ticketeer, they scanned the code just like at the airlines. Big screens, loud sound, comfy enough seats.

Next movie I would love to watch is Mulan.

Moving to no ticket window and assigned seats was a horrible business plan. Will not be back.

While the kids who work here are mostly nice and trying to do a good job, this is definitely the most poorly run business in Fairbanks. Year after year, decade after decade, they cannot manage the most basic tasks of efficiently selling tickets, selling concessions, taking tickets, and showing a movie. Every time you go here, you will think Have the owners ever seen a movie theater elsewhere? For unfathomable reasons, they have never developed a functional system to fill concession orders, so it often takes several minutes per customer. Organized lines using standard dividers? Nope, theyve never heard of such a thing. We had not been here for a few months, and the new innovation is to close the ticket windows and have everyone buy tickets through the concession stands, so we were stuck in the interminable concession line for tens of minutes just to buy our ticket. You really, really, have to want to see a movie on the big screen to go here.

Great theater popcorn could be better and wish they would let you bring your own kids into rated r movies.

Buying tickets at the concession stand slows the whole process down. Massive lines and we are late to our movie (though we got her 20 minutes early) due to this system. Hire more people and do it right.

Great theater, slow concessions.

Went and saw Captain Marvel. Could barely hear the dialogue...the volume was way lower than usual and it pretty much ruined the movie for us. I wasn’t going to post a bad review about it but a friend just saw Endgame and had the same complaint. It was way too quiet. How is this an acceptable mistake to be making when people are paying what they’re paying for tickets and concessions?

They changed the way you get tickets. Instead of a ticket line, now you have to wait in the concession line and it takes at least 20 minutes to get a ticket. It’s enough to have me stay home and watch Netflix instead.

Love this place, love the new unlimited access to see all the movies you want every month.

Super disappointed with the new changes. They no longer use the box office and I have to order at the concession stand which takes a half hour because there are only 2 people behind the counter. If I want to purchase tickets ahead of time I’m charged a fee which is absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say I regret getting the ultimate pass if this is the way the theater is going to be from now on. Show up at least an hour before your movie starts otherwise you will probably be late.

Was treated extremely rudely,the man basically threw the popcorn down onto the counter,acted as though this was the worst job in the world,not professional in the slightest,acted as if we inconvenienced him in his life.Would give zero stars if possible!

Nice place and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. They can get backed up when its busy but thats to be expected. Every thing was fresh and delicious and the theater was clean. Ill definitely return.

We went to what we thought was an early movie today ened up picking up a different time due to the long lines, to find out you had to get your food first and then pick your seat number What?? This is ridiculous especially since we had friends in the other line as now we are trying to get seats together, when we asked if we could move once we were inside she rudely said no. Imsorry but we moved anyhow to be close to friends. Even the dude at the check in said this was absolutely ridiculous and offered to help us move. Even your staff member said this was overwhelming and was an unneeded change

Getting the rewards membership is a must if you plan on going even as little as 2-3 times a year. The coupons are worth the time. And the arcade is nice enough to pass time if you have a long wait. Staff is friendly, and helpful when a question is given.
