I have been apart of this extended family for almost 10 years now. Old Library Theater is the cream of the crop when it comes to what Community theater should be and is. I have been a part of a few other theaters and though they were also good i continue to come back to Old Library Theater because they are family. They not only take in adults but also offer shows for kids with an amazing growing and learning experience for them as well. In all aspects of what theater is whether as actors or patrons Old Library Theater knocks it out of the park!!!!

The amount of talent from everyone here is unbelievable. I’ve seen many shows here and I have met many people involved from those performing on stage to behind the scenes help and all of them couldn’t be nicer. I will see any show that’s performing here because I trust the whole theatre company. ️

Old Library Theatre is our go-to place for high quality, affordable community theatre. My daughter had been in shows and involved behind the scenes for over 5 years and we feel at home there. The people are professionals who care about creating art that reaches all ages and interests. Highly recommended!

An amazing theatre filled with even more amazing people! The shows that are put on here are incredible--some of the best theatre you can find in NJ! I am happy to call this place a home and am grateful for all of the experiences that it has given to me.

We attended the “Another Op’Nin Another Show” last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Every performer was terrific. Thank you for bringing such wonderful community theater to Fair Lawn.

Ive been working for OLT since 2011 and I LOVE this theater! They deliver quality productions, and the people are absolutely amazing to work with. Its a very supportive environment with a true sense of community. OLT also offers youth productions and other educational opportunities for young thespians. Very lucky to have this theater right in my back yard!

Thoroughly enjoyed The One Act Plays. Scripts and acting was superb. Really demonstrates OLTs diversity, creativity and commitment to the arts.

Old Library Theatre cast me in my very first production back in 2010, and they have welcomed me back many times since. Great people, wonderful performance space, top-notch talent both onstage and behind the scenes. OLT offers something for everyone whether you are a performer or an audience member, each season packed with a wide variety of new and classic musicals and plays, children/teen productions, staged readings of lesser-known and original works, an annual Broadway-style concert event, and they even give budding local playwrights a chance to have their plays staged with their annual One Acts Festivals. A true community theatre experience for the community by the community. I have worked with many local theatres over the years, but OLT always feels like home to me.

OLT is a vibrant community of passionate theatre folk who consistently give their all to put on excellent and challenging and thoughtful productions. So proud to be a part of this company!

The board thoughtfully chooses seasons with shows that are highly celebrated but not overdone in the surrounding area.
