I came here to meet a friend. There’s this Kafkan form I had to fill out and take my own temperature. The form told me to tell the staff member what my temperature was. I told the desk lady. She said “fill out the form” and waved her hand at me dismissively. She sounded like Jeanine from the Ghost Busters. The good one. If you want to encapsulate the end of open democratic society in one interaction it’s that.The art is okay. Nice Fantasia-like colors. Did you know the illustrators for Fantasia had to invent almost all the colors they used because no one had done that before?

Culturally a jewel for Evanston, and the north shore. Exhibits can be almost magical, stimulating, and beautiful. A treasure.

A great community space. I came in to their Christmas Art Expo, which has lots of great holiday gifts created by local artists.

Great place to take classes. Currently taking woodworking class there with rest of family. Enjoy every weeks class. Teacher very good. Gives suggestions and show us how to perform many different techniques. Would recommend this to all interested.

Went for a art fair. Nice place. BUT REALLY EXPENSIVE we couldnt believe what they were charging.

The EAC was one of my favorite spots as a child. It provided a welcome escape from my traditional primary school and I still remember teachers I had twenty years later. I have recently started classes there again as an adult and I am so glad I did. Though the location isn’t the same (I loved the old EAC in the mansion by lighthouse beach), the new building is really nice and has all sorts of tools and materials for students. Both of my current teachers are great and I’ve already signed up for another class! Great little gallery too that’s free and open to the public!

They offer numerous courses in a variety of mediums at all skill levels. Currently they have an ongoing sale featuring local artists.

This ceramics class I signed up for is very accommodating with the students limitations in mobility and/or mental capabilities and Molly has a brain full of ideas for projects to start and ways to adjust what one intends to make so that it will come out of the kiln in one wwhole piece.

Loved the exhibit with postage stamps. Very helpful staff.

Some of the best classes and teachers for jewelry making! When you have class with them they also grant access to some amazing tools.

The staff is phenomenal. They are always checking to see if you are OK. The place is very clean and the food healthy and good. I love bringing my grandson here. The open spaces make it easy to watch him while Im sitting and relaxing. Highly recommend it

Very clean and loved the art work

This facility is interesting, has good programming, and reasonably close to the purple line (about a ten minute walk east). The site is wheelchair accessible and has parking. Nearby there are some coffee shops and restaurants that you can go to before or after.

Wonderful gallery and classrooms for any type of artist. Good location with parking and free viewing of galleries.

Free exhibits. Accessible hours. Great studios. I sat in an empty one for a few moments just to enjoy the stillness.

They always got something going on whether its charity or an auction great place to bring kids on a field trip on certain days to do art or sculpt with clay.

Such an array of art programs available. I especially love teaching floral design there
