Heavens, I love Alley Gallery. Its got great local vibe written all over it, and thats something that this world needs a little more of each day. The proprietors seem to have appropriate frame stock for everything that I drag in - from black and white photos to far-out dayglo concert posters to subdued oil paintings. Frame-making decisions are never rushed and always cheerful and creative. Completion has always been timely and flawless. Ive been there for a handful of projects over the last five years and I keep coming back - this is the kind of store that you will use over and over. Highly recommended.

I bought a canvass online and had it wrapped here. It came wrinkled from the seller and I was afraid Alley Gallery wouldnt be able to get those wrinkles out. They said they would try but couldnt guarantee it and would call me and let me know if they couldnt.When they they called me to tell me it was ready I asked about the wrinkles. They told me they were able to get most of the wrinkles out, except for one you can only see if you look for it. I looked for it and I couldnt find it... They did an amazing job! They even added a wire in the back for hanging and included the nails/hooks for hanging! They helped me load it into my car and made sure nothing would potentially ruin it on the way home.I 100% recommend them.

I have been using Alley Gallery for my framing needs since 1987. What an amazing experience. They have such a wide range of different types of frames and really take the time to offer suggestions of potential frames. One time I spent nearly an hour there trying to chose a frame and they were extremely patient during the process. The staff also have a very artistic esthetic and have often offered framing options of which I would never have thought. And Jessica, the parrot, is a wonderful addition to their team. I had a large print that was slipping from it’s frame. I emailed Alley Gallery to ask about their services. Darren promptly set up a zoom meeting with me to discuss the print and I was able to show him what the damage looked like. He came to my place, took the print for repair, and after a few weeks, Darren returned with the print expertly repaired. I cannot be happier with it. He did not try to sell anything not needed, like new matting or a new frame, and the price for the repair was very reasonable. Additionally, Darren took two other framed pieces with him for some much needed repairs. We had another zoom meeting so he could show me choices for matting. His choices were beautiful and it was hard to choose! I highly recommend Alley Gallery for any of your framing and artwork needs. Darren went above and beyond to provide excellent service. In this time of a pandemic, and as a senior, I certainly appreciated not having to go to the gallery. Call them!

This was my first time framing anything and the staff here was so knowledgeable and helpful! It was so easy- I made an appointment online, showed up with the prints, and they guided me from there. Knowing Zero about frames, I just explained what I liked about my prints and how I wanted them to feel on the wall and they were able to pull several different frames that all could have been great! Ultimately, I decided to go with something a little more custom and they were more than happy to help me get the look just right. Avrum (sorry if the spelling is wrong!) was super friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking to upgrade your photos, prints, paintings or mirrors, definitely check them out. Supporting local is so important and I feel confident recommending Alley Gallery to everyone.

I purchased two antique posters and had them framed at the Alley Gallery. Darren was very helpful when it came to deciding the right size, texture and matting for the frames (this is his specialty, its definitely not mine). Im really happy with the way it all turned out. The posters look great, the frames look great, and now my office wall looks great.

It is always nice to visit Alley Gallery. Ive been slowly working my way through a gallery wall at home. Some things are custom framed from scratch and for some I have re-used vintage frames, because I am upgrading from IKEA piecemeal. So I have asked for a range of things – from a new mat board and a professional dust up to framing family pieces with a custom frame, mat board, and custom glass - and I am always happy with the results.

They’ve matted and framed a dozen pieces for me. They take the time to listen, talk, consider, examine, and compare options. Delivery on time.Their gallery and exhibition space shows commitment to the community, and the art and craft of locals. That’s huge. You don’t see that from other framing shops. Sometimes I stop in just to say Hi and they take the tIme to make me feel like a neighbor. Finally, they’re all active Artists and Makers. They don’t just run a shop; they’re in it all the way.

The Saw Room shows the work of talented local artists, always provocative; moreover, the Gallery has hosted intimate musical performances and is a community treasure. It is a very relaxing place to visit, plus you get to admire their parrot Jessica up close. The only problem is they have so many interesting and unique items (cards, posters, handicrafts) for sale, its difficult to leave without an extra purchase! Alley Gallery really deserves a 10-star rating, but unfortunately 5 stars is the max.

This little gallery and framing service is a treasure. You can find all kinds of art prints, mostly vintage and antique, plus affordable framing or framed art. Theres a scattering of other goods, mostly art or vintage, and an attached one-room gallery with high-quality exhibitions. The prices for these works are usually between one and three thousand, while the prints and vintage items start from a few dollars. Framing is about the same price as the chains, but far, far more creative. Theyll come up with ideas that youd not have thought of yourself but are a great match for your needs, the why didnt I think of that kind.
