I always love visiting this trail with my family. The trail is well maintained and the smells are sweet of berries and summer right now. It is wonderful to pick up our farm box, say hello to the friendly people anf animals at the farm stand and go for a nature walk.

This approximately 2 mile round trip walking trail is a lovely spot, good for all ages. The views showing the slough, pastures with barns and cattle, and numerous birds, and beautiful vistas of Kneeland and the Coast is worth the pastural stroll. We picked lots of blackberries in late August.

Fresh mushrooms, meats, eggs, dairy, local made jams, bread, hiney, baked goods and soaps! Theres other gift items like teas and vintage dishware and decor. I always love checking out the Native Plant stand here! Staff is always friendly and welcoming, and I can support a lot of local places in one cozy stop. Use caution getting in and out, traffic can be a bit fast but worth the stop.Theres a short hiking trail as well but have waterproof shoes as the area can get muddy

By far my favourite way to shop for produce...I was at the farm yesterday, for the second visit. After picking the beautiful bounty of veggies desired. I strolled through the cut flower garden. Then around the general store building. I was very impressed with the beauty of it all. Once inside. I found the garlic I was looking for (there were three varieties). I came upon the delectable baked donut holes...By far the most outstanding hole I have ever encountered. ever...Once I was through checking out the produce and varied kitchen utensils and such. I made my way to the counter to pay. Well my wallet was empty of cash or card... The delightful woman at the register said. No worries, next visit , pay then...I fortunately came along with two gals. So I was able to pay and included an extra dollar on the tab. As I felt the price was too low for my bounty...All happening at the same time, Other patrons and staff were involved in a discussion about hair and bald heads...The energy here at the Freshwater Farms Reserve is uplifting and certainly fresh, with KINDNESS and warmth. I will be back more often

This is a great little hike. Freshwater Farms has set aside pasture land with public access for education and conservation. Excellent farm stand. Kayak boat launch available with access to freshwater slough. Wheeled carts available for this purpose.

Like an enture farmers market packed into one quaint cottage! From fresh baked cookies and bagels, to frozen bacon and fresh eggs, produce both rare and common varieties, and a whole section of creams and soaps that smell so good! There is an adjacent nature preserve trail and we rode our bikes around the .75 mile trail and may use the kayak carts some time in the future to trek to the waterway. Theres also a sandbox with toys for little ones;) this market place is so much more than your typical farmers stand:) plus...you can peruse the native plant section for sale too!
