Im updating my review because this is my favorite dog park in the DFW area. Compared to most other dog parks, this place does not stink. Theres separate areas for larger and smaller dogs. Most of the dogs here are friendly and calm for most parts.It would have been better if they had lot more smaller tables than few tables for us to sit. For now this will do.

This park used to receive a 5* rating from me but upon my arrival Saturday morning for a pokemon go event (go fest) I was welcomed out of my car with the sight of the following pictures.....Not sure if I will be returning to this park in the future.

Very dog-friendly park! Good combination of paved trails, gravel trails, and rough trails. Along the nature trail, there are mile markers and little placards that give you information about flora and fauna in the area. There are creeks and a pond, an amphitheater, a playground and a dog park. Nice combination of mown grass and wild areas. If your dog likes to chase squirrels like min does, it is ideal.

Nice urban setting to go fly fishing,especially in the creeks. Largemouth bass,catfish,bluegill . Park has bike trails, and walking trails. Two different playgrounds for the kiddos.

.... wish people wouldnt let their dogs roam on to the soccer fields!

The Dog Park is great. Separate areas for big and small dogs. Definitely need more benches, but besides that, great place for your doggy exercise and make some friends.

Nice park with trails for walking and running.

I go there frequently. I enjoy the nature trail, which goes through the wooded area along the creek. It connects with other parks in town, so you can go for as long or short a distance as you like and visit several parks in the process. There are signs identifying some of the tree species, and I’ve enjoyed watching the seasons change as I walk the trail at different times of year.

Well kept and lots of pups to interact with! This park reminds me a lot of Tipps Canine Dog Park in NRH but with much better hours! If you don’t feel like letting your dog out in the park, there’s a trail system that runs right by it!

Well, you can definitely tell when it is an excellent winter day when the dog park is full even tho the road construction is a pain to deal with; its still a good-sized fenced-in area for your dogs.

Great Park and beautifully built walking trails. We went to the dog park 1st, then took a hike about 2.5 miles along their trails.Early evening to late evening. It was so relaxing and so convenient.Blessings

Nice location for the puppers. Dog park is very well kept and the trails are nice too. Be sure to pick up after your animals and enjoy your time here.

We really enjoyed the small dog space. Nice to have shaded tree area to sit and relax. The dogs loved it! Pretty clean as well.

Great trails for biking.

Nice area, nice park. Needs some agility toys or something in the small dog side. Our dogs like the challenge.

High dog to people ratio. The most dogs Ive seen at a park. Great nature trails. This is a beautiful park with a lot of natural shade. The main trail is about 2 1/2 miles long it takes me usually an hour to walk to the end and back. And its a really pretty place where you can see some cardinals if you look out for them.

We’ve just started coming to this dog park and my pup LOVES it and made such a good dog friends already! The regulars are so nice and it’s such a peaceful community. The park is super clean, and there are always poop bags, etc. ...there’s even a spot to hose down your dog before you leave, which is really convenient! So thankful we live close to this park!

Beautiful Park! We took our Family Photos here and had lots of great scenery to choose from!Felt very safe, had trails and just an overall great place to take the entire family!

I visit the dog park there with my maltipoo Buddy. Good, clean facilities and good dog owners. My only issue is there could be more seating and some more shade for those really hot days. There are 2 sections for big and s.all dogs and even an area to hose down your pooch if they get dirty. Very friendly community

New to the park and it was awesome! Our dog had to be on the large dog side and there was so much space to run with friendly dogs and shaded sitting areas, water fountains.On the outside there is a great trail to walk around, very peaceful.

Beware the owners. Seriously. The regulars are great people, but you get the ones that dont know how to handle their animals. ALSO, always pit bulls. Beware of BAD OWNERS.

One of the prettiest most well maintained parks in the metroplex, surprisingly green and accessible at every turn with several CLEAN PORTA POTTYS until now i thought they came from the factory dingy. The diversity and lushness of the plant life is a much needed break from reality

I went with my family and our dog. Ive been to a couple of other dog parks but I prefer Bear creek. Its wide open and clean.

Great dog park. Buddy & l visit the dog park accasionly. He really likes to do the trails. He is Terrier & loves to explore plus the squirrels keep him busy as they run up the trees. My only complaint is the irresponsible dog owners who use the dog park & trails that are to lazy to pick up after there dog/dogs.

Love the location. Big and small dogs are separated. However, there are a lot of stickers in the small dog park. My pup has a lot of fur and picking out stickers is never good.

Big park with trails, dog park, playground, pavilions & amphitheater.The trails follow the creek and you can actually walk all the way to Bob Eden park from The Villages of Bear Creek.Ive brought our dog to the dog park quite a few times. He started out in the small dog section when he was a puppy and moved to the large dog section once he was big enough. Both dog areas are a good size. There is usually a decent crowd on evenings or weekends. The dogs have a blast, there is plenty of room to run around, things to sniff and places for the dog owners to hang out and watch all the fun. Bags & trash cans are provided to clean up after your pet. The majority of the dog owners clean up after their dogs but there are always a few that either arent paying attention or cant be bothered to clean up after the dogs.

Nicely maintained goid looking park. Ideal for dog walking. Walk along Bear Creek or take your mountain bike or do the advanced timber fitness challenge.

The location is beautiful. But the large dog are is pure filth. Can’t blame the city or the dogs. But the patrons are not keeping their dogs under control and not cleaning up after their dogs.

Took our 4 month old Aussie here for the first time and really enjoyed it! Park is large and pretty clean. Our dog is right in between the large and small size, so we took him into the large area. Some bigger dogs chased him a bit, and it would have been nice if their owners were paying more attention to help stop it. Overall we were very impressed with the facility though and definitely will be coming back!

Who doesnt love the Bear Creek area?! Right next to the DFW Airport , accessible to highway 360 and North of Arlington. Awesome place to live and raise your kids!

Amazing place to spend your evening

The old management company lied about upgrades in the apartment. I lived there one year and never got all of my upgraded drawers in the kitchen. I literally had no drawers. When it iced over with inclement weather not one thing was done to de-ice outside stairways.

Great place for a walk or run

Great off-leash Park for your 4-legged friend. Two separate areas for large (40 lbs+) and small (< 40 lbs) dogs. Plenty of run area, and well maintained facilities.

People do a good job of going to the correct side with their size dogs and its a pretty quiet area. The only downside is the maintenance of the grass. It seems to get out of hand a bit and while kept a nice colour, it does get quite long.

Awesome little dog park. I love the tunnels and ramps for the pups to play on. It has plenty of trashcans and poop bags, water fountain, and plenty of parking.

I am sure this is an amazing park and would really love to take my dog there but the hours the park is open keep me from ever going. They really should be open during the weekend so that those who work during the week can take their dogs. Really not happy about this :(

The park itself is ok. People do bring vicious dogs here though. Not vicious breed dogs, vicious dogs. My dog was just attacked through the fence. I guess this park is for dog fighting. Very disappointed.

We found this park whilst jogging in the area. We only have one dog who doesnt socialize with other dogs very often and living in an apartment can take a mental toll on our dog. BUT THE DOG THERE ARE SO CUTE. Human food is not allowed in the area. You dont want a herd of dogs running to you.

Great dog park! Thy have separate sides for big dogs and little dogs, with lots of room to run and plenty of water for your pooch.

I have a large StaffordShire that is extremely friendly, it was nice to be able to go to a 40+ lbs area where I was not nervous about taking my goofy girl. Clean and no issues had.

What an awesome park! Dogs love it, there are washing stations and the doggie bags are always stocked.

Great walking trail clean dog park

Ive been going here for a while now and me and my husky Stellah loves it!! She always make new friends and every parent I meet is nice and we all share helpful tips with one another and the dogs are so well behaved, have not seen any dog fights or anything bad. I def. recommend this park to anyone who loves for there dog to be socail with a range of 2-15 dogs at a time. They do have a small side and large side but I feel like its up to the parent and the dog to decide because both sizes get along no matter which side there on. If you are new to being a parent no need to worry, me and others like me will be happy to conversate and help you out

Great time at dog park then walked down to the creek...picked up all the broken glass i could find to throw it away.

This park has a great dog park.

Just recently found this park and took my 12 week old german shepard there. The park is seperated into two areas, 40 lb and up and 40 lb and below. This place gets very busy around 6 since its in the middle of all the apartment complexs. I can definitely recommend this park, everyone is super nice and there are alot of regulars who know each other very well. Clean environment, a place to hose down your dog if he/she gets dirty or too hot during the summer. Check it out!
