Tuesday afternoons from 4-7 pm an open mic style venue is offered for local musical artists. Social distancing and mask wearing seems to be complied with. Two thumbs up! :-)

This is a true community treasure. Live music, kids playing, River House uses it for tree climbing camps, picnics, BBQs, university students, families. Love this place. You can usually find street parking unless theres an event. In which case, ride your bike!

What a gem of a park that the City of Eugene gas in Washburne Park. Peaceful place to find a shady spot with a nice bench under a big tree to read your favorite book. Or enjoy a summertime open air concert. Or play Frisbee. Or lay down on the grass and roll down the sloping grass lawn. Something for everyone!

Its such a beautiful park and the concerts are wonderful. Its located in a very safe neighborhood. There are some good places to eat just walking distance... And the ice cream shop... Well in my opinion cant be beat. Its a pleasant place to eat your ice cream and relax. Or gather some friends and play frizby... Awesome place to read as well. Theres no bathroom but there is a porta potty and they keep it super super clean.

This park is lovely looking with lots of open grass to lounge around in, however when I took my toddler ther to sit and eat his ice cream, the smell of dog boo was overbearing. We moved to three different parts of the grass, but still the same problem. Also the was a young man with two dogs and one of them kept run over to my toddler and jumping while his owner did nothing to stop it. Pretty park, but a not so fun time.

A very central neighborhood park, which made it quite the show when I taught my kids to ride their bikes without training wheels there. There isnt a lot to do there but it does host concerts for free every Sunday of summer. Theres also an ice cream shop close by, so you can grab a scoop and hang out.

It is a small park with mostly grassy area on the side of a hill. It is a nice place to go when it snows because the hill is perfect for sledding. It can also be nice to lay on the grass on sunny days. There is also a large tree that people like to climb.

Panda park! Im not sure why it was referenced to me with this name, but it has stuck all these years and I forget that the proper name is Washburne. In any case, this is one of my favorite parks. Its wide and open with a lot of grass and trees for shade around the edge. Its a great place to throw a frisbee, play catch, bring your dogs, your kids, do slacklining, sun tan, etc. etc. Theres something for everybody at this park. And theres Prince Pucklers right down the street!
