Beautiful spot to enjoy a view of the West Eugene Wetlands, as well as the snow capped Three Sisters, off in the distance. The small parking lot offers adequate parking, three picnic tables, interpretative signs about the history and development of the prairie, along with a wide and well lit path. While enjoying the path, you can enjoy seeing ducks, geese, small songbirds, hawks, herons, and an occasional fox or two.

Huge open wetland areas with a broad paved path system thats accessibility friendly. Plenty of room to distance from others. Great for chilly sunny days to just go for a walk. Too open for hot summer days unless youre on wheels or love the heat.

When I lived in Eugene I would ride this bike path almost every single day..I live outside of town now so I only get to come here a few times a month but it’s a great spot to start your bike ride.

My reintroduction to bike riding was on this path & this was my second trip here with a biking buddy, plus the changes of spring to summer heat changes is well worth a regular bike path trail for me

Its absolutely gorgeous here. The view of the cascades is stunning too. The trails are a little muddy and unkempt. Also, there is no sign to say that the trail ends and it stops abruptly. I wish there were a little more structure to the trail. Maybe of it wrapped back around or to another part, thatd be more interesting to see.

Nice and easy bike ride from downtown. Need to ignore all the homeless campers and the garbage left behind along the path as well as the pot smoke in the air.

Great place to view a wide variety of birds. Easy walk along a paved bike path. Or, if youre feeling a little bit more adventurous, there are plenty of trails along the canals and around the ponds.
