Great spot! Always love seeing movies here and the new downtown space is great! Only complaint is that if you dont get to seats early enough during a packed show, the first two rows are pretty bad to sit in. Otherwise great service, amazing ambience and always great sound and visuals.

Private screenings are reasonably priced (cheaper than youd think) and a great Covid outing. Beer + outside food + picking any movie (not just those currently in theaters) makes it a lot more fun than normal movies.

We rented a theater for a friends birthday. You can rent a whole theater for $100-$150, choose almost any movie you like with $50 concession credit for up to 10 people. Great experience, planning another in the next few weeks.

This theater holds a special place in my heart. I’ve lived in Eugene for nearly two years, and the Broadway Metro has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Their staff is welcoming and friendly, ticket and concession prices are suspiciously reasonable, the food and drinks are delicious (anywhere that offers nutritional yeast with your popcorn gets major brownie points), and the theaters are always clean and comfortable. Walking into the lobby is like stepping back in time to the 1920s (with the exception of the Star Wars and No Country For Old Men posters on the wall). Even their largest theaters are pretty small (by modern multiplex standards), but I love how that gives them a cozier, more intimate atmosphere. With an ever-changing selection of blockbusters, documentaries, arthouse, and foreign films, I’ve never once visited and had trouble finding something that caught my eye- more often than not, I’m torn between multiple options and end up having to come back the next day, and the day after that... and the day after that... Seriously looking forward to the day they reopen. I’ve got lots of catching up to do.

The old half leaves much to be desired in accessibility as my brother, wife and I are all wheelchair users and the smaller/older theatres have room for about one and a half wheelchairs and leaves you partially blocking the door/walkway. I hear the newer addition is better but havent had a chance to see a movie in it, will update my review when I do.

Such a quaint theatre. My husband and I loved the small theatre environment, and unique films shown. Make sure to try the popcorn with garlic/Parmesan. Worst parking of the three independent theaters. Highest ticket prices of the three theaters and the smallest theaters. I will only be going again if theyre showing something that Bijou or David Minor isnt showing that I want to see. Their popcorn is the second best out of the three independent theaters. They should super team up with Sizzle Pie and sell slices. That would help a lot.

If you are going to a newer release or popular film as a couple get there early. They recently expanded and the new theaters have two rows up front that are too close to the screen to be usable. The theater says they do not sell tickets for these rows but they also do not have any instruction to not skip seats making the theater fill up quickly. We were forced to sit in the second row and look straight up. Two couples came in after us that proceeded to leave due to the seating. We considered the same at many points through the movie but let our necks tough it out. I may give the theater another chance much later in the future when they get things a little more straightened out.
