A hidden gem! Small Museum but very well done. Lots of information, photos and original flying artifacts. Knowledgeable and friendly docents.

The staff here are extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. They know fun facts about everything in the museum and will answer any questions you have. It is a really cool place to go if you have some time. Also the gift shop has some really cool models if you build them. Make sure to ask them about the man who made all the models in the display cases.

Small, but jam-packed with wonderful stuff and a lot of details you wont find in most larger museums including an incredible collection of scale model aircraft documenting the history of flight. If you are an aviation buff there is more than enough here to keep you occupied for hours. With friendly and knowledgeable volunteers on hand and a low cost of admission, the Oregon Air and Space Museum is a must-see destination.

Good amount of aviation historical planes for the price. Crazy fun waterside... sliding out of 747 jets. Rocket; SR; Lunar Lander; X-15... were nice to see!

A hidden little Eugene gem! I cant believe how many people dont know this museum is here! We travelled from Montana and had our teens pick out what they wanted to do. They both agreed on this one. We brought them and their friend and all were interested in the tour and the exhibits. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very nice! Thanks for the tour!!

A nice unexpected stop. A treasure trove of aviation history. Our Docent was informative, attentive and enjoyable. They need volunteer help. If your in the area inquire within. This history needs to be shared.

Great airplane museum staffed by very informative staff! Spent a couple of hours touring the two hangers and still didnt see everything. Took two young grandsons with us and they were allowed to sit in several of the planes on the floor. Will definitely go back again!

All museums are good! But, this one is uniquely different. Yet, I have not been inside because its not been open when I drop by. But, I have faith that sometime the doors will be open!

I just found out about this museum. I took my grandson who has an interest in anything airplane. There are some great volunteers with a vast amount of knowledge and some interesting and some humorous stories to share. We spent a lot of time with Bob, a veteran from the Korean war. We thought we would be there about an hour, but ended up spending almost 3 hours.

Love this Museum. I went there six years ago. Took my kids to see my favourite plane, The Spruce Goose. Love it. Not huge but enough to keep the kids occupied. Awesome!

Super cool aviation museum with history dating back quite a while. Lots of unique exhibits with a variety of planes and memorabilia. The guys there are also very friendly and would gladly talk to you about the planes and their history on them. Great place to spend an afternoon if you enjoy aviation, and even if you dont but have time to kill, a worthwhile experience.

Was very impressed with the museum and friendly knowledgeable staff. Located just next to Mahlon Sweet/Eugene Airport.(Might be a little difficult to find, as there arent many roadside leader signs guiding to where its located.)Great exhibits, aircraft, models, and aviation memorabilia.Sad and a shame this museum doesnt get more notariety.Ive been to quite a few air, flight, and space museums, and this one certainly stands out among them.Theres a great gift and souvenir area at the entrance with many nice and affordable items. The exhibit itself was/is much larger and extensive then I imagined it would be.Theres no restaurant/snack kiosk, so eat before or after your visit.Admission fees are very reasonable.I plan on going back again soon, as I got caught up in listening to many great stories and experiences of some of the Veteran volunteer staff on hand during my first visit. Its a great (little-known) museum/exhibit, but well worth visiting, and Id recommend it to anyone/everyone.

An excellent museum with an uncanny number of model aircraft that have been constructed with the care of a watchmaker. It includes a portion of the U.S. space race in its artifacts. Try not to trip over the retired Gremlins.
