Overall, I have had such a bad experience with George Edwards and am very unimpressed. I booked him for my baby shower and certainly regret it. First of all, George was very late. He didn’t bother to call or text to inform be that he was running late, and when I’m paying by the hour, I would expect some level of punctuality. He later told us that he was there on time but was waiting in his car trying to catch his breath – for whatever personal reason, I don’t know, I don’t want to know, but regardless, I am not paying for him to sit in his car. He seemed very unsteady and suspiciously lazy and sluggish throughout the entire time. At an event with all women, this naturally made us all feel quite uneasy, so much so that I had to ask my husband and sister to come inspect his condition and make sure he was “all there”. I let him know that we would pay him and understand if he needed to leave if he wasn’t feeling well, but he insisted that he was fine.On to the actual event. He finally started drawing and it was not fun for anyone. He was slow and very non-engaging. He didn’t need to put on a show, but I would expect at least a smile and hello – yes, it was that bad. All-in-all, I did not receive anything nearly close to what I paid for and would certainly advise anyone looking to add some fun to their event to look elsewhere.
