The place is a little bit underwhelming outside but when you get inside you will be greeted warmly by the host and in no time you will have one of the closest encounter with reptiles and amphibians! An experience not even the zoos can give because in this place, you can touch and snuggle with reptiles under the supervision of friendly faculty. Enjoy the pictures!

Very nice place where you can meet a lot of reptiles and bugs, learn about their personal lives, some biology, pet them and understand that every one of them is really a person.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and bought a family membership to return. They rescue reptiles and train them to exhibit excellent behavior. Youll see a great exhibit filled with snakes, lizards, tarantulas; exotic creatures that you might never get to see up close. The docents are adorable and knowledgeable ️

Great place to introduce little ones to reptiles. Educational and personal, our kid came in scared and walked out smiling, having touched all kinds of creatures, having more respect for them, and knowing the difference of scary looking vs poisonous. A super quick no pressure visit your family will enjoy.P. S. These are reptiles, so it does tend to get a little warm especially on the colder days, keep that in mind.

I visited over the weekend with my husband and daughter. We all three had a great time. The location is small, but they make up for it by getting out many of the lizards and snakes Very knowledgeable and friendly! I’d recommend it for all ages!

What a fun and reasonably priced place to visit. Our kids had the opportunity to pet, hold, touch, and learn about lots of different reptiles. Huge monitor lizards, snakes, bearded dragons, turtles, etc.Our guides were so knowledge and enthusiastic about the animals and their care. Each animal has an interesting back story. Some are sad (abuse, neglect) but now they are treated so well at Ecovivarium. Its a small, unassuming place but so much fun to do a lap around and interact with so many critters. It made our day to visit, and we wish them well.

Such a cool experience! I took 6 kids from ages 3 to 13 and they all enjoyed it very much. Very hands-on, the tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. I would love to take the kids back. Took almost exactly 1.5 hours, indoor venue, street parking available and budget friendly.

We chose Ecovivarium on Free Mesuem day. Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. You could choose from Parpicipating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. The Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people on Saturday, September 21, 2019. One ticket per email, so use it wisely. Please consider donating, and becoming a member, especially on a free museum day. This place is small, very small but packed, very packed. Every corner has lot of information, lot to learn from here. All of the reptiles here are rescued, so they would not know the age. Lot of hands-on opportunities. The staff are very informative and friendly to teach you. Animals there are happy, they are well loved and pampered. They have variety of lizards and dragons. Snakes ranging from small ones to python. Parking is tight only on streets, so plan accordingly. No food available at location.

Its a large room with a large loop surrounded with animals. The tour goes through all their animals and you get to see them up close. This beats any zoo experience ever and our guide was so knowledgeable about each of the animals. This place is amazing and well worth the cost. The tour is over an hour to see all the animals, but your can stay as long as you like.

This is one of our favorite places to take the kiddos! Perfect for homeschool groups, birthday parties or just to visit! Really hands on. The kids actually get to touch and sometimes hold the reptiles! The staff know the animals and love them. Each one of them has his/her own story. We truly recommend this place!

My daughter is absolutely in love with this place! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgable about all of the reptiles on display and the best part, for my daughter, is the ability to interact with some or all of the reptiles. Definitely not for the faint at heart. They will hand you pretty much everything on display to hold if you want. I highly recommend this place for those who have a fascination with reptiles and want to learn more about them.

We are members of the Ecovivarium because my children love it so much. The hosts are knowledgeable and very good about helping kids meet each animal they have out. We have been several times and have visited many different reptiles all with different personalities and temperaments, which has prompted my children to be more respectful of the living things around them. My son wanted to have a snake birthday party, so, naturally, we hired Ecovivarium to bring snakes and two experts to our home and they did NOT disappoint! The two handlers kept a group of 5 to 10 year olds interested for an hour, bringing out snakes and letting everyone touch them and then letting them handle the snakes that were amenable to being handled. They were professional, but warm and accepting of any and all questions. I highly recommend their birthday parties for your reptile-loving relative!

My daughter loved that place. We traveled from Los Angeles to go and she was not disappointed. They did the tour and explained each reptile and she even got to walk what I think was a monitor lizard lol. Anyways, really good if you have someone that loves that kind of stuff.

Adults and kids love interacting with reptiles and other animals. Docents are knowledgeable and the owner is passionate about what she does. Facility is still being developed. My kids loved every minute they were here. My autistic son has been here twice in 5 days. Looking forward to the final stage of the facility.
