The hike was flooded after some rain, so we ended up walking on the beach. Still very nice.

Took my daughter (5 ) and son ( 1 week) out today my daughter LOVED it. She didnt want to go. The sand was sand and not small rocks. There were life guards almost 3 feet away from each other and they really kept a close eye on every one. The waves were not so powerful they would knock a little one over.

It was a beautiful and physically demanding hike in January. The ice dunes were spectacular as the water crashed and splashed. The path was marked with orange blazes, but the path was impassable at times due to water. We circumvented these challenges to make our way to the point. It was a gray, snowy, and windy day with temps in the mid-20s. I strongly recommend a snow hike for the fitness component. Be safe and stay off the ice dunes, though.

One of the designated beach areas. First rate beach. Plenty of parking. This time we used it as the jumping off place for te 14 mile bike or hike trail. The beaches rival those of the west coast of Florida.

I was recently involved with a cleanup on Gull Point. This is such a beautiful place to walk and see Gods Creation! Although, I did see a lot of trash that is littering the area and taking away from the natural beauty. Of course, this is why we were doing the cleanup. Please keep your trash picked up to keep Gull Point and the rest of Presque Isle beautiful.
