Wow SUPER CLEAN. The casino has very good social distancing with glass dividers between slots. Mandatory temperature check and mask on at all times. Smoking is suspended until...so the air is very clean and pleasant smelling. They have hand sanitizer and wipes for the machines everywhere. Definitely worth the trip from Cleveland

Trucker friendly!! Very good food on the buffet. Steakhouse is superb. Machines are a little tight, but the atmosphere is friendly and outstanding. Live card games, bingo, sportsbets, slots. Excellent place. I highly recommend!!

Of course if theres a Casino in the area, you have to check it out.:) We were a party of four, our first time being here. Getting in and out was no issue. Staff take your temperature which is quick and in compliance with Covid-19. Some slot machines are taped off to keep people at a safe distance. Staff were also observed wiping machines down and there were cloths available if you wanted to wipe your machine down.. The restrooms were clean and so was the facility itself.All four of us received a casino card and a free play ranging from $5-$50. I only put $40 cash in the machine and although I played several machines, lost my money and the free play, I played for at least 90 minutes. I dont mind losing a little bit of money as long as I can actually play and play I did. Three of us lost our money and the fourth put $100 in and walked out with over $300. We were all satisfied.Oh, the bar wasnt open :( It was 9 a.m., so its probably okay:)

Used to like it until I was told my nose has to be inside my mask just not 10 minutes after I had to take my mask OFF in the same place as thousands of people to get my temp taken! Its insane! Its not right our state can run a casino while the public cant anyways. Dont think Ill go back.

Normally we have a great time but the Cashier working at 7:45 pm Doesnt Know where the lines form told me I was in the wrong line. She needs to see if her insurance covers glasses. Cant drink alcohol in the casino due to covid-19, and they are entirely non-smoking due to covid-19, but its very clean and just a very pleasant trip! Was nice to get out of the house!!

Slots are very tight. Never win there and the bar is closed. Cant even get a non alcoholic beverage. Waitresses never come back. The restaurant upstairs is very nice and has good food.

I still cannot comprehend how someone who sits at a slot machine and plays for 2-3 hours making 1 cent bets on $20 can get all the perks in the world but I go drop a hundred or two hundred in a machine, be done in 15 minutes, and I dont get a thing. Completely backwards!

Last time it was pointless. No one was having fun because nothing was paying out or hitting and I didnt stay long cause there is nothing else to do with bars closed or no alcohol sales. Thought it was cozy and the staff seemed friendly. Not sure if it just so happens it was on this particular day or time, but the slots seemed to give playback. Nice place first time going. A lot was not available due to covid. Lady at guest services was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed 15 free dollars and my husband got 25 free dollars of free slot play by joining the rewards. If I come back to Erie I will come back and play again.

Its a big place with many machines to gamble on so theres always an open machine. Theyre observing the six foot covid 19 recommendation so no one will ever get you sick either. Theres been a temporary no smoking ban tho....

They have the machines to tight need to loosen them up we are im tuff times its nice to beable to win a little more thanks

All NE casinos have shut down their poker rooms. But you can play at the other games which is the same close contact!? That makes no sense!! But you have the casinos down south and out west open poker room and all. Infact they installed clear plastic walls on the poker table. NE are the worse region of states ever including the people!! That region makes no sense and are really stupid people, stupid old buildings and roads.

Always a good time......some times better than others but , thats why its called gambling....would easily get 4 stars maybe more, however with this whole covid thing going on , alot of the slot machines are turned off so that people cannot sit to close together and help with the social distancing, also you cannot smoke currently and they are not serving drinks per Tom Wolfe. Definitely not the casinoss fault but non the less it does take away from the overall experience. Will gladly rate higher once is back in full swing

Drove here From outta state reading all the reviews laughing saying this couldn’t be true. But then started playing and realized ever single 1 star review was right. This place is terrible. Besides the heavy smoke smell and the lack of games to play this place was terrible. Played machines and didn’t hit a single hit in $100. Got 3 bonuses and they didn’t even give me my bet back. And now $500 Later I’ve learned to trust ever review I read.

They dont offer the free play or gifts like past owners. Gambling comes down to luck and how tight the casino has it. Used to be able to take 100 and play. Now you put a hundred in and you get no play time. This casino used to be busy now most days you can go bowling.Most are playing 30 cents. You might see quick hits once in awhile and I am talking 3 or 4 at most. Free games are even harder to come by and dont pay. We need to learn to stay away because its no longer fun. Its become more frustrating than anything but we enjoy playing slots. We keep going thinking we will have a better outcome and we end up spending 200 to 400 with same outcome.

Now under new ownership or management the casino has turned more towards the business side.. the free play has gotten lower, and they use to entice you to come get free gifts and play... i use to receive promotions all the time... now I get notifications maybe once every 3 months... well you know the saying... Outta sight, Outta mind.. and I would drive 2hrs to play there, and getting a cool gift would only entice me to eat, and play in the casino... it is a nice casino, but you need to put newer games in the non-smoking area..

The staff was nice we had a fun time gambling. The problem with presque isle is the location of the non-smoking sections of the casino. If you are a non-smoker you have to check in and pass through the smoking areas in order to get to the non-smoking areas and this seems wrong. Plus the customer service desks for cashing out are also in the smoking area. The food and the bourbon restaurant on the second floor was good and service was good. We did the two for $20 lunch special which included your choice of a salad or appetizer several nice entrees to select from and a shared dessert. Pretty good deal.

Fun place. Decent priced drinks. Slots were pretty tight the night I was there. But as always, odds are youll have fun. And it is a fun place. But I have yet to find a casino that isnt fun. As most casinos are, the gaming floor, bathrooms, and bar are incredibly clean. Do keep in mind, this is not Las Vegas and they dont try to pretend that they are, which is nice.

I drove in from Buffalo with my friend thinking wed have a good time. Its a cute property from the outside. But, once inside after the temperature check was a different scene. When we went they were allowing smoking after reopening following the Covid-19 shutdown. It was so thick with smoke and so hot, we couldnt breathe. I got $25 of freeplay, which went quick. Both of us went through hundreds like eating twizzlers. We couldnt catch a hit on anything. Nobody was winning. Only one hotshot guy who was claiming to have won 6 jackpots in a row. We did see him actually win 3 bonafide handpays while betting $25 spins. Lucky him. Everyone else was losing. Also, it was very dirty with ashtrays and 75% of players not wearing masks properly because it was too hot and smokey. We lost a lot and honestly did not have any fun. It was so depressing and miserable. We will NEVER go back.

Love it at Presque Isle Downs. We come there several times a year and always have fun. Wish they would mail me monthly specials or e mail them. The buffet is great and service was great.

I swear i have been there alot and i dont think i have seriously seen anyone actually hit it big on the slot machines and now its even harder to win now that covid came and they lost all that money because now they are trying to recoup all the lost money during the lockdown. They def have adjusted those machine so that they dont pay outas often or atleast any large amounts. I def wont be going there anymore

What is wrong with the one blackjack dealer. She screams out blackjack, totes or too many every time it happens. Its horrible. Im sitting at the table next to her trying to enjoy the game. It ruins the whole gambling experience for me. I had to leave because it was so annoying. All the players are looking at each other thinking the same thing. What is wrong with her.

It was not crowded, had a nice variety of games. Only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because of the very limited section of non smoking gaming. They do have a dedicated non smoking section but its fairly small compared to the smoking section, should be reversed in my opinion.

Since COVID the machines are super tight wouldn’t recommend going until they loosen the machines a bit.

Was not very good .we could not get anything to drink .we were the for over 4 hours.couldnot even get water for the drinking fountain were all shut off . And the vendi ng machine were broke .

It was ok, only one choice to eat which was the bar, no pizza or sandwiches to go. No longer have free pop, so set some money aside. Drove to play cards and all u could play was black jack 3 to a table, no let it ride ect. Well stay home and go to mgm so i could have pop and waste less gas to play slots.

Very clean, nice casino with great variety of tables & slots. I only wish they had more $.25 machines or at least mulit-denomination as there too many $.01 & $.02 but nonetheless staff were great, drink prices were very reasonable and had a good time!
