I lived in Erie Pa for almost 3 years. I was lucky enough to find Bloom Collaborative with wonderful staff and wonderful artists. The director was inspirational and helped me to explore new avenues of art. The studio was so uplifting and inspired me to continue my art journey back in Kentucky. Due to 2 brain injuries I feel completely embarrassed to not remember the wonderful names of the people there. I would greatly appreciate another time I can visit and see my friends and staff as well. Thank you all so much! I would love to hear from anyone & everyone.Jennifer Luvisi2204 Douglass Woods CourtLouisville Kentucky 40205

An amazing place. For a long time I passed Bloom as I drove to work and wondered what it offered. Near Christmastime 2014, I stopped in for a special evening celebration. Student art work was for sale and in the studio area guests were offered a wonderful spread of fruit infused water, wine, fruits and finger foods. I talked to a few students who filled me in on what Bloom was and what it offered. It is a wonderful place to learn art - watercolor, drawing, fused glass, acrylics and so much more. There are talented teachers and students who will offer you advice as you work on a project. Because of my work schedule, I didnt attend classes, but many are offered free or at a very minimal cost and supplies are included as well as access to a wide number of resource books. There are many open studio hours - those are what I took advantage of. Bloom primarily offers its resources to Stairways clients, but the public is openly invited to use the facility which is housed in an old mansion and bank. I found many of the students who were already using the facility to be welcoming and talented. I will be going back this fall to make art items that can be displayed and sold at this years holiday open house.
