Great place to shop for pretty much anything. A staple in the community for as long as I can remember. In light of the election infection, people are expressing their freedom to shop as they wish. For all those that cannot handle that fact are free to stay home for your perceived/imagined safety. My rights dont end where your fear begins for a flu where 94.6% of 70yo+ and 99.9% that are 70yo under are surviving. We just went to the green dragon yesterday and really enjoyed it. They had really good produce at really good prices. We like the flea market items too which we picked a few things up. My husband and I were curious as to why they are only open on friday? What happens to all of the produce at the end of the day on Friday?

If I had the option to choose no stars I would. I loved going here as a child, so I took my kids today, and pretty much left immediately. I’d say more than 50 percent of the people, customers AND WORKERS, did NOT HAVE MASKS ON!! Regardless of anyone’s personal beliefs about COVID-19, they are still required to wear masks. There’s no way to remain socially distant inside there, there are crowds of people at any given time. WEAR MASKS!!!! I left without purchasing a single thing because I was so disgusted. Places like this are the reason why this pandemic is lasting so much longer than it should. Complete and utter ignorance.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I went on my birthday on the 28th of August and almost NO ONE WAS WEARING MASKS!! AND IT WAS WORSE INSIDE THE BUILDINGS TOO! Not even the vendors were wearing masks, and the vendors who were working with food weren’t wearing masks either. People need to understand that their is still a global pandemic going on and need to understand that the masks help protect you, but other people as well. Inside the buildings I only saw one food vendor wearing a face covering. I wish I could leave no stars for this place.

I bought a ten foot phone charging cord for $5.00 from one of the Asian stands. It only worked for a few days. I tried to exchange it when I went back down there, but the person said not from me, first day here he said maybe the other one across the way, so I tried them, they said the same thing not here first day here. So buyer beware! Products dont work granted it was only $5.00, but it doesnt work!

Absolutely love this place! Both as a vendor and a shopper. Parking is ample and location is perfect for this market. It is pretty well kept and very clean. The market offers a variety of produce, antiques, crafts, Amish foods and other hand made items. They also have flower and plants vendors, lots of good food and places to eat! Try Raubs Subs and Country Beef Pit, its really good! My friend sells her candles here (Candles From Heaven) and of course they have been kind enough to give me a shot at selling my chainsaw wood carved bird houses here! To me its more than a place to sell or shop, its more of a therapy to me that has helped me deal with of the loss of my recent family including my parents and my aunt and uncle as well. Growing up we always left NJ to go to Lancaster area or the Poconos. We had SO MUCH fun in this area of PA and in the drop of a hat it was gone. I still get a knot in my throat when driving around in this area and seeing the places we visited growing up. I started making the bird houses in memory of my parents. I can not thank the owner and the staff for their compassion, the chance they have given me and how much they have helped me deal with this just by letting me sell here and hang out here. Its something I never thought Id be doing and to me it has been an answer to a prayer. When doors close and loved ones move on, God opens windows to places where we can remember those people and the times we had with them and create new memories. Hoping to get to spend as much time here as possible in the future. Its worth the 2 1/2 drive for sure!

My husband and I visited the Green Dragon September 13, the majority of our experience with the vendors was great, however we bought a cable system from an outdoor vendor called Joe’s junk. We asked about his return policy and he assured us that we could return the merchandise for a full refund. When we got home we tried the equipment and it did not work, we contacted Joe and he told us to return the item and he would issue a full refund. We sent the equipment back with tracking to assure that he received the package. He has been promising us a refund since and have not received anything from him and now he will not even answer our calls or messages. I will be contacting the Green Dragon by phone also to let them know of the shady business practices of this vendor. Do not buy from this person!!!!

You can find anything and everything here! You can buy fresh produce to homemade ice cream and breads to even fresh meats and pickles.... Theres also a section for used items like a regular flea market, and a section to sell homemade items such as clothes furniture, you can buy livestock and even visit the auction. One of my favorite things is to visit the fossil shop in the organic honey shop. And as you walk around there are little restaurants that you can buy food and beverages. If my memory is correct its on 33 Acres of land that includes the parking lot. All the people there are very friendly and kind always willing to help.

Weve been coming here for more years than I can count. Sadly, over the years there has been an influx of commercial vendors which I think has destroyed the charm and character of this Amish farmers market. If you like to look at tons of socks, knockoff purses, cheap jewelry, perfume, and sports paraphernalia then you will enjoy the Green Dragon. On a more positive note, we discovered an absolutely wonderful Chinese/American place to eat in the Green Dragon called The Beef Pit (I think). I never knew about this place before and didnt even know they had indoor seating. It is run by the most friendly, fun and accommodating Asian family you would ever want to meet. The fried rice is heaven and the beef dishes are outstanding! They cook the beef outdoors in cookers and it is so tender, you can cut it with a butter knife. There were four of us and we all had something different. Everyone really, really enjoyed their dinners and we had such a good time joking around with the owners.

They also have a restaurant. There is a large parking area. My advice is bring the large reusable bags with you and a bottle of water.
