I saw J. Roddy Walston and the Business here with Sleepwalkers way back in 2017. It was pretty rad. Very intimate, able to get super close to the band and feel the energy of the show. Among the better venues Ive been to all across the country. I love small venues like this and the location is great for getting food and drinks before a show.

Probably my favorite venue aside from Red Rocks. Ive seen quite a few shows here and love the option of being able to sit on stools upstairs or move my way to the front, there really isnt a bad seat in the house and they always host quality acts.

This place is one of my favorite venues. it has been a part of Denver for as long as I can remember. I cannot wait to be able to see another show here.

I love venues like this! Large enough to get the spirit and energy of a big crowd, small enough that youre never far from the stage. The sounds system is good, the drinks are plenty and the bartenders serve them fast. Plus the tiered floor is a real benefit for us shorties in the bunch. We still get to see the stage!

Glad my wife and I got to share this place together. Great sound system and lights make for a great interactive performance. Small intimate stage allows musicians to connect with the audience. If a musician decides to go unplugged with a crowd, very simple to accomplish. Boyce Avenue was a great show.

Best show I have ever seen. Dennis Lloyd is a brilliant musician. It was the first show I have ever seen at the gothic theater, I loved the size. I have attended huge stadium shows that were giant productions and amazing, but nothing beats a smaller venue with great artist on a simple stage with their instruments and the audience.

Really great venue. I like smaller venues and this one is great. The floor has a few level changes and the balcony had places to sit as well. If you do want one of the balcony seats you should get there early and grab those seats. Theres two bars and they are really good at getting your drinks quick. Ive also never had to wait in line to use the restroom either. Theres also a coat check and I usually never have a problem finding parking.

Its a good small venue where theres really not a bad seat! Only reason it doesnt get a five is because parking is a pain in the butt! Dont Park at the King Soopers!!

Im not very impressed with the Handicap seating. It was behind the whole crowd and if someone is even a little tall, you cant see.On top of that, the only handicap restroom is by the front door which everyone uses instead of the other bathrooms which are upstairs, so I had to figure out how to get up the stairs after waiting so long for that one bathroom.Beautiful building otherwise.

Lots of seating upstairs and great views. There is a bar upstairs and downstairs. The bathrooms were nice and clean and all of the staff were very friendly. Acoustics were great and what more could you ask for?!

If the walls of this place could talk. From death metal to jazz, the Gothic has seen it all. In its current incarnation, the place is a charming, if beat up jewel. Balcony seating offers a great view of the stage. Or pack in close on the tiered areas that occasionally are seated, but usually and standing room general admission. A few quirks of the place. There is one accessable restroom on the ground floor. Otherwise you have to hike the stairs to find the mens and womens. And parking for the Gothic is, well, a challenge. Get there early and/or plan on walking a couple of blocks. And be sure to check the street signs for no parking and other restrictions.

I love the Gothic! A small venue, perfect for seeing my favorite bands. No matter where you are, you are close to the stage. Because the place is small, the fans are always real fans, so we dance, jump, sing together. It feels like you are with 500 of your best friends. Parking had never been a problem either.

Wonderful staff. I called with questions on parking and they offered great suggestions. The line moved fast and was treated with pizza and snacks for free. The venue Is lovely and very easy to navigate. Truly not a bad spot to see a show. I arrived an hour before the show and was on the barricade.

The gothic theater is a medium venue with a great gatsby kind of feel. The place has plenty of standing room and some balcony space for siting. The bar is an island in the back of the theater raised above the floor, so while you order a drink you can still watch the show. Not only that but the bar offers concert specials which is a nice addition. Over a nice spot to come in and catch a show!

Hip music venue in an otherwise sleepy part of Englewood. The venue itself gets crowded really quickly and both balcony and main level can get cram-packed, but then again what music hall doesn’t if they’re playing decent artists? The bartenders are super friendly and to two level bar is a nice touch and helps cut down on the inevitable endless drink line. Parking is around back or street parking, but can be a little challenging and you may end up with a several block walk, but your results may vary. Definitely would come back without a second thought of another band I like was playing.

Awesome location too see live music!I remember going too the Gothic when I was a young man too see movies back in the day when it was only $1.00 too get in and the midnight movies were just .50 cents!! At that time they just installed 4 track surround sound and it was the big thing at the time.I remember watching The Whos Tommy when it first came out and Led Zeppelins just released The Song Remains The Same at the Gothic. I saw so many great classic movies at the Gothic.. thats a major part of my life when I lived in Englewood Colorado. The Gothic Theater was part of a chain of movie theaters all around the Denver area. A man named Frank McLaughlin I believed own then all. I still think about those days.

Solid audio set to reasonable decible level has made every visit to the Gothic enjoyable. I like being able to move around this small venue as I find taking in a show with varied viewing perspectives adds to the experience. Plus finding areas where people are more into the show, will add to the fun factor too. Rarely issues with rude 420 people. Restroom size and locations are not ideal knocking off a star.
