Great 2 my mile total hike. Out and back. Fairly flat, easy path along the river. Great for kids, dogs

Its beautiful (when visitors clean up after themselves). Its very disheartening to visit and the place is covered in garbage with soiled diapers and baby wipes hidden in trees. Bless the locals for going down with bags on a daily basis during the summer months, cleaning up the area and preserving its beauty for all. Its really a shame when visitors leave it looking like the morning after a keg party.

Its beautiful in the fall. Im sadden to see the pool after the bridge with no trespassing signs. People really ruin this place. In the summer time its crazy here. Avoid it.

Great place to hike. A hidden gem

I took my son swimming there a couple years ago and we both got sick from the contaminated water thanks to those individuals from Hartford and Holyoke using the river as a bathroom. Disgusting.

Great place to gather with family and friends.

Its great for swimming and rubbing down the Rapids. Talk a nice hike and walk your dog unfortunately the slobs have come and they leave everything behind. Small amount of parking unless you chose to walk about 100 feet

Used the highway through the park on way to Collins Creamery

Really cool place to hike a couple mile trail (or run!) and also play in the shallow river. It is swift moving and has small little falls.

My family and I had an amazing time. We cooked out, went tubing in the water and just had a relaxed time.

Beautiful river and scenery. Great hiking trails! Parking an issue tho , not enough and half to park mile down road where cars travel to fast. Be better if limited to ct residents and if all would pick up their trash and keep it beautiful . Dumped food and dirty diapers do not belong along the riverbed, neither do gas grills!

Great place for spring and fall hikes as well as summer swimming, fishing, tubing, kayaking and canoing. Gets crowded on hot days and people are slobs tend to leave garbage. My advice is go early in the season to capture the true beauty of this section on the Scantic river.

Beautiful spot with good fly fishing. Nice trails that head up river. Move up past the river bend from the parking spot. Nice smooth flow with good area to drop a fly. Some guys have luck here on spinner rods as well.

Such a beautiful nature walk. Suitable for small dogs and kids. My husband and put had such a lovely afternoon. Just pack bug spray! We were totally eaten up!

People should pick up their trash. Otherwise the place is Awesome !

Beautiful scenery, one of the best hikes in the area. I like this access point to Scantic linear park best of the three. Reward yourself after with Collins Creamery ice cream just down the road

I love this spot but really miss the picnic tables. It was nice to have someplace to sit. The nature and rapids are spectacular!

Beautiful scenery both along the river and in the woods. Very peaceful but can get crowded during the summer especially on nice weekends. I love it here year round! However wish the park was bigger; the main trail along the river only goes out about a mile.

I love this place. Ashley Wood and I have been coming here for a few years now. Trails are nice nothing to serious for easy walking and the fishing is GREAT. I just wish everyone would remember the rules carry in carry out keep it clean!!!!

Nice linear and loop trails, mostly along the river. Main trail is pretty wide and easy walking. Great place for dogs.

I really love it here. My only wish is that more people would pick up their trash when they leave so it can be beautiful for everyone to come. A volunteer organization helps keep the park clean through different events. There a couple great trails especially a 1 mile loop along the Scantic up to edge of Stockers Farm. A great place to also play in the water or take a short tube ride.

I dont like bugs and the woods was really deep .

This is such a beautiful park, and so close to town. For anyone in need of river therapy, I highly recommend. Just please throw away your trash!
