Great place to take kids to play

Very nice place to take your kids and adults

My kids really enjoyed riding this free carousel. They rode it at least ten times. It was an enjoyable afternoon where they alternated between the Carousel and the playground.

The carousel is always enjoyable, a pass time for our area for decades yes. We always ride the carousel while were at Highland to play at the park or to swim and our visit today was primarily to swim and the best part about the Highland Park Pool is that they put a liner in it so that its not just concrete and scraping your feet and knees nice and smooth and kind to your feet and knees and hands whatever body part you scrape on it. You have to pay to swim but its fair prices as long as youre a resident its free for little ones four primary age kids and up to 17 I believe its a dollar and then adults are $2 and seniors also have a discount and much more. Very nice park and playground. Well maintained and clean. Kids loved the Carousel, has a dog and a pig you can ride along with all the horses and chariots.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. The pool is always staffed with many lifeguards and the kiddie pool is great. Also its clean.

Where did all the original horses go? And why is the ride like less than 60 seconds? We were the only one on it? 5 mins would be better.

A great park with playground areas for the kids. Pavilions with grills for cooking. A beautiful, decent size swimming pool with childrens wading pool as well. Baseball field and tennis courts. They also have restrooms and a consession stand. And one of my favorite carousels in Broome County. This is where the big July 4th festivities and fireworks take place too. A great park for the whole family. I always liked going there as a child and now my kids do too.

Lots of place to park n for kids to play. but on this visit the Bathrooms needed cleaning. Ball field needed to be raked. It was a surprise to find it in that kind of condition when I have been there before and never seen it like that. I am a realation to the face painters that were painting on the 4th. I was surprised to see they had really cheap prices when others had fair/carinaval prices for things that were there. For the 4th of July rating I gave the park 3 stars-A lot of venders didnt show again this year-but the venders that did come-were outstanding! (They even stuck it out threw the rain storm that came into the park.) The other reason I gave only 3 stars is because the park could really use a good cleaning.

Very nice place had photos done here from the very talented brittni stasiuk. Beautiful scenery and many great memories have always been made here at this park. They have a wonderful playground nice pool tennis and babseball... Pavilion picnic tables barbq pits covered tables playground for smaller kids always very clean. Plenty of parking. Haunted hayrides for halloween. Activities for the fourth of july all day. Go out and enjoy a great park. Carosels are free

Historic, free, and fairly well maintained. Take your kids or relive your childhood on this local horse tornado.
