Great people and a beautiful course. The greens overall were in pretty good shape. Many had way too many unrepaired divots! Twice in my round landed in divots and cost a couple extra strokes. Always enjoy this course and its beautiful views!

Beautiful course was feeling good till they stole our clubs from the car. Two sets of clubs and bags gone from our car in their parking lot. Unfortunately the cameras that would catch the thieves were not working. They need to fix the camera system. Manager was really bad didn’t offer any compensation or even a free rounds of golf. Or told the sheriff that they will fix the cameras.

A fun course. Lots of different types of holes. Nice elevation changes. Some pretty cool ocean views. Definitely walkable.

Great course our company outing was a lot of fun, they keep everyone at a good pace.

Really enjoyed this course. Very open and forgiving, but still provides a great round of play. Views are beautiful. Grounds are well kept. Would definitely play again.

Course is in great shape this summer and the pace of play has improved with the extra carts that are on the course due to Covid.

Decent conditions... lots ball marks on the green though that people dont bother to repair

Great golf course, have been coming here for years. Usually not too hard to get a good tee time.

I absolutely love coming to this place because the course is awesome. I have been golfing here for over 10 years. They used to do a great job on the pace of play, greens fees were well priced and the staff was good. Now, this place has become questionable for the price. The course is still in great shape, but the pace of play is outrageous. 5 1/2+ hour round is what to expect. Rarely do I see a marshal coming around to check on pace of play. I had to call in multiple times to get someone out there.The cart girl just sits at a 3 hole junction. I saw her twice in 5 1/2 hours. The front desk staff is incredible, might I add. Always friendly and helpful.

Best golf course Ive seen in San Diego! Really loved the greens and beautiful fairways!! One more thing I have to admit everyone answering phoned really really seemed happy to assist you in whatever way you do need! Rest. USN BIGGGAME JAMES

Gorgeous course

The staff is always friendly. The course is beautiful but not extremely challenging- some of the locals call it Easynitas. I also think its a little overpriced. But you are almost guaranteed a great day. Some great views, fantastic fairways and greens, and a pleasant staff usually add up to a wonderful round of golf.

Consistency disappointed. Today I showed up 10 minutes to 4pm to hit a bucket of calls with my husband and was told they just closed it. Really sad part was I was shopping in the store and he said if I wouldnt have spend 5 minutes shopping we could have made it. Saved someone else walking in the trouble. 3 sales gone and not planning on returning.

What a great day on the course.

We (group of 20-25) hold breakfast meetings here every Tuesday morning. The staff goes out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food is good. Ive used the driving range which is just perfect. Ive never golfed the course but look forward to that one of these days.

Service is great. Pro shop staff is super helpful. Marshall keeps up the pace of play. Course is fairly open and easy. Greens are soft making the course even easier. Shaft out and enjoy your low scores.

Less than two miles from the Pacific Ocean and perched up on a small range of hills, Encinitas Ranch is an immensely scenic golf course. Many ocean views are present on the front-nine, while the more dramatic back-nine loop also throws in breathtaking inland panoramas over hills and valleys that stretch as far as the eye can see.

The amazing view says it all. The weather is fantastic. Some nice terrain and changing slopes.

Beautiful nearby hikes and vista points for those who dont golf! Love the flowers, birds, and great views of the hot air balloons taking off. Definitely a fantastic area for sunset strolls.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The course is well kept and beautiful. The back nine is my favorite. Great breakfast choices. My BFF and I had a blast!

They are definitely get hit by the drought. Its not as lush green, maybe because its December. The greens were rolling great. They do have some interesting holes where you have to hit over a canyon or a pond. For majority of the holes its pretty open and flat. Some good shots with elevation. They have a good practice area with range, chip/pitch and putt.

The staff at Encinitas Ranch was very friendly and courteous. The course was in great shape. Greens smooth and fast. The fairways was like hitting off carpet. Very good experience here and will play again.

Great course!!

Nice course, we had a good day. Greens are nice, but not respected by the locals. We spent a lot of time repairing ball marks as we played, as all the greens were badly pocked. Also, try to get out as a complete foursome as the Marshals frown on letting singles play-through (or as one put it; hes lucky to be out here today, he can follow your foursome). Strange policy given the relatively slow pace of play....

Cant beat Hitting off the turf on the driving range and GolfTEC has the best instructors around. The course is really fun and always in great shape.

This public course is worth a play. Not expensive, good rentals, fair course with mostly fun holes. A fair amount of grade change.

The Encinitas Business Exchange (EBX) is a business networking group of over 40 professionals. EBX moved their Wednesday morning breakfast meetings to Encinitas Ranch Golf Course (Ranch Grill) in July 2016. Michael Dougherty (Food & Beverage Manager) and his team have been wonderful. Our meeting begins at 7:00 a.m. The beverages are out at 6:30 a.m. and the hot breakfast is ready to go at 6:45 a.m. Excellent venue with excellent service. Thank you.

If you can get it at a decent price then its worth it. Coastal breezes and great views plus gold whats not to love?

A solid golf course with great weather and views, a solid range, and a nice chip practice area.

Beautiful layout but course is in terrible shape. Would be really fun but the marshalls are not so friendly. Much room for improvement.

At Encinitas, I do score better than any other golf course in San Diego area.
