Great swim school! We go on Saturdays which are quite busy, but a smooth operation. Our 3 year old daughter is progressing nicely and our 5 month old son already loves the water! The instructors are great, especially Declan, and the water is warm! Also my recent experience with the general manager, Brianna, was great. She made me feel like a valued customer.

Staff are very professional and nice, but I didnt see any advantage on my 10 month old baby in 5 weeks, pretty much the same just playing, 30 min. Is not enough I think.

My medically complicated son was welcomed into the class with no hesitations. They were more than willing to accommodate his needs and he has had such a great time with the teacher and classmates. I am so glad we chose this school, i highly recommend them to anyone looking for swimm classes.

Really engaged teachers are invested in your childs progress, and facility is always clean. They do a great job on birthday parties as well! Only wish the space was a bit bigger, busy lessons sometimes feel really crammed, but produce of the businesss growth.

I tried to like this school and stick with it, but ultimately cancelled lesson here.Part of the issue may be because I started at the Glen Ellyn goldfish prior to switching over to the Elmhurst one and noticed some big differences:1. Space is much smaller, yet it feels like they try and cram more classes to the space. This results in a crowded parking lot and very crowded changing rooms. No one seems to monitor them, so there would constantly be rooms “claimed” by someone and sitting empty as lines formed. Not fun when everyone is wet and cold.2. Our area for mini 2 classes were reduced in size on two occasions - it was ridiculous having 6 grown adults and 6 toddlers scrunched into two small lanes. Was it poor planning? Overbooking and stacking classes?3. Cleanliness of the facility started to become an issue. We were the second class slot of the day (so there wasn’t that much time for trash to be accumulated), but on one occasion my toddler picked up a sharp soda tab on the group next to the viewing chairs. The final straw was a unmarked white pill he picked up on the ground right under the check in counters. Luckily - he was in the phase of handing everything to me!4. The mini classes were super simple, and each week it was the same exercises over and over again.I’m sure this swim school is great for certain classes and lessons, or perhaps an older age group. For now, I’d rather just buy a pool membership somewhere and teach them myself!

Great school, I had an issue with payment and hard time getting a hold of someone- when they did get a hold of me, they went out of their way to make it right. I was frustrated, but am changing to 5 stars for the great classes and following through and making the issue right.

I came in for a Mini trial lesson for my 12 month old and was not impressed. There was no attempt to know my son or his swimming skills, being that there was another family I anticipated more one-on-one instruction. It was hard to hear the instructor due to other classes taking place at the same time so the majority of the time I asked to repeat herself. She modeled the exercises extremely fast with a baby doll. While we were supposed to practice a new skill she went to the edge of the pool to chit chat with the lifeguard. At the end she quickly congratulated us for doing great in class when in reality she did not pay attention to any of the exercises we completed due to her being busy talking.I am only giving a one-star rating because of the cleanliness of the facilities.I do not plan to enroll my son to a place where theres lack of attention from instructors and that can potentially put his safety at risk.

My son has been going to Goldfish Swim in Elmhurst for a little over a year, and he has absolutely flourished and grown so much both inside and outside the water. Lasting friendships come from Goldfish! We wouldnt trade our experience at Goldfish for anything!

Very bad costumer service. Even though, the swimming class was very nice the service was horrible. Nobody show us where to go and what to do. They even confuse the names of the babies. The people at the front should be more careful.

The patience & ability to communicate to my 5 year old & in turn communicate to me as the parent so that I know what he’s accomplished has just been awesome! But it doesn’t stop there, they also help you understand the practice needed so that he can achieve the next level has just been profound from the Goldfish instructors.

The consistency of teaching methods at each lesson is great. My child gets very anxious with new situations, and knowing what to expect with each class, regardless of the instructor, is a BIG relief for both my child and myself. (The warm water and fun teachers helps too!)

Amazing swim school. In just 4 lessons my 2 year old has gone from screaming and not letting go of the ledge to dunking her head and “swimming” (using the barbell). The instructors, Miss Taylor and Miss Sarah, are incredibly patient and helpful!

Fantastic facility and friendly staff.Update: Dropped a star as the lesson are very expensive and hard to work with the appointment schedule as the place is popular. Have a 2 and 3 year old, only time they could both go together that worked for my schedule was Tuesday afternoon... during nap time. Tried multiple times and just ended up with tantrums. You can bank any lessons you miss, but doesnt solve the scheduling problem as I could get nothing in the morning. Will still do the family swim on occasion as a treat, but lessons did not work us.
