July 18, 2013True Lacrosse Wheaton/DuPage County area, Illinois, I found this review from an Ohio parent and I have to say it rings mostly true. True Lacrosse is expensive. The field was changed two times. The first change was to a field that was in extremely poor (high weeds and tall grass!?) shape. Directions were bad. No one knew where to go - including the coaches. The second field was a bit better, but directions were terrible. True lacrosse promised signs would be posted and coaches directing parents - NOPE! Start times for practice were often delayed with kids standing around. (There were some young coaches - probably college kids who cared and who apologized). Although, one of the head coaches was argumentative. When I emailed the corporate offices to complain about the first field - I never received a response. If someone showed they were concerned I would not be writing this review. Poor customer service. No sense of organization. Go ahead and try them - but at your own peril. What a waste!Heres the Ohio Review:Guest, Monday, September 17, 2012This review is for: True Lacrosse CincinnatiTrue Lacrosse is a nightmare, known primarily for their greed throughout the lacrosse community, true parents and players can expect massive communication breakdowns, irresponsible and inexperienced coaches/chaperones... teams showing up to field without having coaches assigned, clueless staff, unorganized travel information, greedy and unclear pricing, changes in programs after signing up, over-promising and under-providing... among many other downfalls.
Terrific guys.
