This was a great exhibit. It was perfect timing for my Art Appreciation Class@ NLU Chicago Campus. The guest services staff was awesome. I always wanted to go because its close to where I live and work. Im glad I didnt have to go downtown with the hustle and bustle of traffic and parking. I will make sure to see some more of their exhibits.

This was a surprise. I been living close to Elmhurst for a long time and I knew about this museum but to be honest never thought about visiting. We went during the polarity exhibition and it was awesome. It was an interactive one and we had a lot of fun taking photos. The only downside is that I think is a small museum and also it probably needs more advertising so we can know the programs it have.

I didnt have any expectations going in as it was through a photo meet. I have mixed feelings about the museum and its purpose. But overall it wasnt a bad place to visit. They had a couple of of items that were interesting to photograph. You can see in my photos - the colorful maze of plates hanging was an interesting abstract piece. Then the room with colors changing with the reflection on the glass was pretty cool. Not sure about a room filled with paper napkin Doodles - it did make us all chuckle and laugh but not something I expected in a museum and not an entire roomfull of them...

It doesn’t have a lot off art . To be honest the only piece of art that I found interesting it’s the building I mean the structure .

Great museum walkable from the Metra and downtown Elmhurst. Plenty of places to eat or drink within walking distance. Surrounded by really a really nice park. Easily combined with a trip to the Elmhurst History Museum, the Conservatory, Wilder Mansion, and the local college which has beautiful grounds as well.

This is a hidden gem in Elmhurst, IL .They have a very nice exhibit That will be there until 2/12/17. With a new one beginning. 2/26/17. The first Friday of the month admission is free. The regular admission is reasonable. We just returned to the museum 4/7/17 for their New exhibit about Pinball games. If you can get there it is so worth it as you can actually play some of the games.

An unexpected pleasure. I went to the Bauhaus exhibit, which is only on display in the U.S. at this museum. The exhibit is compelling, well presented, and fits contextually to the design of the museum building. I wish the exhibit and/or museum would have supplemented the photo exhibits with more physical examples of Bauhaus in lieu of photos or prints. I also appreciate the historic McCormick house adjacent to the museum. Downtown Elmhurst is great, and the museum is easily accessible by Metra from downtown Chicago.

Nice small art museum. Part of the Museum is the McCormick house by Mies van der Rohe. Not sure I would say its worth the price of admission though - its a VERY small museum. You can overly contemplate all the art and probably leave in an hour. (Yeah, Im a member?!)
