Love this place! A great venue for live entertainment, movies, etc. Excellent programming. Snack bar is great, staff/volunteers are friendly and helpful. We attend a good number of events here each year!

We visited to watch the lion the witch and the wardrobe today. There were some tired aspects to the theatre and the refreshments seemed over priced but the acting by the local and majority young cast was good fun and I would return for another show for sure! I enjoyed the art deco decor.

They have great shows and the venue is very nice but they really need to rethink their seating. They have you packed in there tighter than sardines. If possible, pick an isle seat, otherwise do everything you can to not need drinks, snacks, or bathroom breaks.

A historic art deco theatre that works hard to please audiences from all around! Come see a Met Opera simulcast or watch an Oscar nominee film! Lots to be offered here at The Grand!

I saw TEMPO (The Eastern Maine Pops Orchestra) and they are a fabulous group of young musicians! I would recommend to go to all of their showings! The establishment is also very nice and the staff is friendly. It is in a great location to get food after your experience there!

Seats are close together. Ordered front row seats to Bob Marley got there they was rear seats people behind us did the same thing. Person that seated us didnt care. Said website had been messing up. So instead of having leg room we was stuffed in like sausages. Seats are so your almost in each others lap wouldnt recommend it your a bigger person. We both still hurt today

I just took my family to see Peter and the Wolf and was very disappointed. The sound was lacking and was very hard to hear sometimes. The building itself is very nice. The post below supports the same issues.I had the opportunity to briefly meet the director whos name was Robin Jones according to the handout, and was instantly turned off by his personality. Rude, snobby and flaky. I wont be going back after this experience with him.

Went to see a show the other week here. The facilities look fantastic, but the staff was a bit off putting. The woman taking the tickets was very unprofessional, and didnt seem to know anything about the show, or even when the doors would open. The performance was an average quality for the area, but the sound was horrible. This may have just been the night that I was there, but the wireless microphones had severe troubles and kept buzzing against someones jacket, or crackling with an ear piercing static. They seem to show movies here as well on a large screen, and before the play opened it was displaying ads like a movie theater. This isnt a bad thing, and it seems like a wonderful way to gain sponsorship for the theater from the local businesses in the community.
