This is why you read reviews. this place adds to the experience of the area. sure you could go to a place with a more modern microwave and tv but who wants to be in a nursery home... come here after a hike and sit lakeside beside a fire with your grill.

Very nice place to stay. Calm and relaxing. Although have issues with their bed! Otherwise it would get a perfect 5 star.

Fantastic place to relax and fish! Cabin 7 was clean and had great hot water. Diago was very helpful. 40 minute drive to Bar Harbor.

This place is amazing! We stayed as a family and we skipped rocks, kayaked, built fires, roasted s’mores, cooked all of our meals and had no trouble packing up what we needed and exploring Acadia every day! We are thrilled that we chose these cabins!!

Beautiful surroundings! Clean cabins. Perfect for our whole family. Minutes to Acadia National Park. We plan to return.

Quit peaceful good getaway

Very rustic cabins. We enjoyed being by the lake and making a fire in the wood burning stove for heat. Make sure you are very close to the people you stay with because there is no privacy. Every sound and smell is shared through the cabin. Luckily we enjoyed every minute there. We will definitely be back and probably every fall season.

Nice place right on the lake. Great people and the one cabin they gave us was new and they even let me have my dog. First vacation Ive had with no regrets. Perfect retreat and the management was great.

Best comfy & beautiful lake view cabin. This is family owned business . The cabins are amazing & clean. Tip- I would recommend to talk Dan or Wendy they will make your vacation the best experience.

Total relaxation, who doesn’t need more of that ! It’s a pretty spot with friendly family run management.

Wifi is lacking, some windows dont open in cabin, no privacy - curtain for bedroom doors, cabins are only 12 ft apart. Otherwise quiet, restful, and right on lake.
