Not too many spots to sit or have a picnic. No kids area. Nice to walk around and not crowded.

Jr loves the park ....plenty of diff obstacles and slides, nice kids / parents every time Ive went at least...I know the park as well as the parents w/ the kids matter as much as the park itself lol. I give it a Must Go and try it for yourself kind of rating.

A lot people look forward to meet here for different events weekly... We play badminton there and state of the art facility.

Another amazing open space venue in Howard County. Facility is great also.

Just visited for a picnic but it looked like a nice playground. Walking paths/property looked well maintained and the the porta john was super clean and even smelled good!

It was peaceful and relaxing my daughter took pictures of the birds and the flowers and she had this app that tells you the different nature stuff about different plants and stuff and breaks it down and let you know what the plants are it was really cool it was fun and relaxing and I will go back again

Great place for a family day at the park. Awesome trails, amazing playground, and even local beavers who have made a nest on the side of one of the ponds

Cute park with picnic areas, long walking/running path and large green spaces to play sports.

This is a nice paved trail that goes around a a playground, as well as an althletic center. On the way, it takes you by some water reserves. a but into nature, and by the roadway itself. We liked it for a shorter hike that wasnt off road.

Its a nice playground for kids, I love that they have separate area for little ones to play. Does not have a shade so lots sunscreens for little ones

We really enjoy the playground, and its especially great for older kids. Several of the features are currently broken and boarded up, and I hope they are fixed soon. The other downside is that it can be hard to keep track of younger kids on the big playground, but there is a small section meant for younger kids.

Beautiful, clean, and expansive park with areas for children of all ages. Very nice playground with slides, bridges, and climbing portions. Walking paths with benches, informational nature signs, and wide enough to accommodate bikers. Also very well maintained tennis and basketball courts. For parents there is a large shaded pavilion and shaded benches throughout. Really cannot ask for more from a public park.

Easter egg hunt and other activities were great.

Geese, crows, little brown birds, and perhaps a beaver can be found in the park. The paths are smooth and somewhat steep in places which will likely prevent wheelchair traffic. Speaking of traffic, the noise of the traffic on Route 29 is a constant background hum while in the park.

The courts were clean, and bright, need a little more room for spectators. Staff appeared friendly... nice experience thru-out weekend...

Its a large park with lots of equipment, and there are usually plenty of kids around, no matter the weather.

I take my dog here for long walks. Its got fantastic paths, great services and its not busy in the winter. Highly recommended for all dog parents.

Great park, has baseball/kickball fields, a couple miles of walking trails, tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, a pavilion, an open field and more.

Beautiful Park , near shopping centers, I’m able to make a stop to unwind and just take a good picture of the beautiful things I would miss if I had stayed inside because this summer has been hot. I have had to go outside for a hour and then work to stay out longer. Advice: parents get your kids outside even if it’s a hot day, they can handle it better and you get used to AC as adults. Sad. I see too many kids in the stores, malls, etc.

Great place for an evening walk

Summer weekend, dont know where to take your 5 to 10 year old kid, this place is for you. They just love this huge play ground equipment. Get you own chair, It can be overcrowded.

What a great playground. You can access it by parking at the far end of the commuter lot. So many ways to climb and slide and practice balance skills. Lots of covered slides for every three hours days. A concerted area with picnic tables is there, as well.

Very busy playground. Clean and conveniently located. It has tons of different places to jump run slide and just be a kid. In addition to that there’s a basketball court and tennis court for more recreational activities.

This is a large and beautiful athletic complex with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. It is very convenient to route 29 and route 100. We went there for kids fest and they were well organized, the shuttles to and from the parking areas were efficient and the signs were very clear. I have heard good things about the sports offered here for kids of various ages.

Chill spot. Lots of fields for sporting, and a tranquil path to stroll and contemplate lifes conundrums

We visit this park with our friends and there kids. I love to go this park with my baby as well. All kids love this park. It has lots of activities to do for kids and toddlers. There also have basket ball court and tennis court. They also have long pathway around the park. I love to walk in that area. They also have bench in case if we tired in middle of walk or running and need some rest. Some of the thing is broken in kids play area that might have to fix it. However, it is common play are so it could break again.

At this time of social distancing.... Good place to walk...not much crowd at all

This is a very large playground! Its especially designed for older kids, but there are a few areas that are toddler-based. Theres a nice secluded paved trail thats good for walking, jogging or biking.

Plenty of clean pottys! Pets are allowed. Fields were playable after those downpours. Snack bar food wasgood and reasonably priced unlike some other local fields

Great sportsplex!!!! 4 full bball courts, courts are used for volleyball, badminton, etc! Great staff, great courts!!!!

One of the better parks in HoCo. The playground is GREAT — our kids loved it when they were little. Basketball courts and tennis courts are well-maintained and usually not packed with people. Plenty of convenient parking.

Not a bad facility, can be a bit cramped for larger events.

Great for kids and adults. Wall to wall electronic games. Very noisy, but thats to be expected. Did not like having to pay an Activation Fee in order to buy a pass for playing the games.

Beautiful trail, lots of pets and runners. Ponds are pretty, and if you want to practice baseball there’s a baseball diamond here. Across the street there is also a facility for drop in games of basketball, volleyball, and occasionally dodgeball. They also have leagues that play sports, as well as different sport clinics for either practice or training. Just check the schedule.

Awesome huge venue but limited parking. Overflow parking is in the playground nearby and on the street.

The bleachers are small and terrible to sit on for games. The layout utilizes the entire space but the seating leaves more to be desired.

Beautiful and quiet although it is right by a road so you will have to keep a close eye on your kids. There is a baseball field. A small pond with a track circling it. Benches around the pond. There is also a bit of shade over parts of the track and a small covered area for resting. The playground is small but sufficient.

We have taken our kids to the playground here many times, and enjoyed it each time. The ground is a firm rubber surface and the metal players are well maintained. There are activities for all ages, which is evident from the spectrum of kids who play there. Adults and kids are well mannered. There are seats along the perimeter of the playground, and a covered area for picnics/parties if you choose to reserve it. Public bathrooms are available, as are water fountains. The parking lot is more than sufficient for the park.The park is conveniently located next to the Long Gate shopping center and route 100, and bear route 29.

Great park

I was here for a basketball game and this review is only in reference to that. They have 4 basketball courts separated by large plastic curtains. The courts are full-size and very nice, however, there is not a lot of seating so be prepared to stand. The bathrooms are clean and there is a snack bar in ehich the staff was super friendly and the prices were reasonable. The parking is not the best. There are only a few spaces out front and if you have to park around the back there is no entrance to the back so you have to walk around the building.

Great facility for practice and games. Its always clean, never smells like a lot of places like this can. Staff sets up and breaks down quickly highly recommended

Great place to get your walking done

The playground is huge!!! I wish this existed when I was a kid. Usually a ton of kids are there. My daughter loves it. Tons of slides. But they dont have any swings.

Kids absolutely love it. It is well maintained and always clean. They have a separate section for younger kids. Also, a walking trail for adults. Simply awesome.

There is an amazing playground at this park! The kids love it! It has rock climbing walls, all sorts of bridges, monkey bars, and lots of slides. There are beautiful views of the forest and ponds along the path, a pretty gazebo, and great sports fields/courts.For anyone interested, there are also about 10 pokemon stops for Pokemon Go!

Big open spaces.

Wonderful play equipment for kids 2 to 8 years, nice protected walking paths and two tennis courts. Very popular but worth a little crowding.

No swings, much to my daughters disappointment.. but still super fun for the whole family! Sometimes it gets busy and theres pretty big kids playing tag, which gets kindof nerve racking sometimes when theres little kids everywhere. Glad for the separate structure for toddlers... that helps!
