Loved the Prime Rib Special. 9.99..Cant go wrong with that price. Everyone was Warm and Friendly to us.

Went in the smoke filled casino for dinner. Wait time for hostess to appear was about 10 to 15 minutes to be seated at a table. There was a total of 11 tables being occupied and still took 45 minutes for me to get my food. My top sirloin steak was really thick but not cooked correctly should have been butterflied. Drinks and meal were very reasonable priced I will give them another chance.

Delicious Prime Rib dinner special! $10! You must try it. Choice of soup or salad. The meal comes with a baked potato, veggies and a dinner roll. Au jus, whipped butter, sour cream and horseradish comes on the side. We had fresh iced tea to drink. Staff were very nice.

My husband and I have always made sure we stop there when in town. Covid has made it not quite as pleasant as it used to . While I appreciate that all businesses have to comply their mask enforcement is not applied fairly. Tonight I was told I needed to pull my mask up even though my nostrils were covered. I did so without comment. Then about an hour later the same woman security guard came to me and reminded me again. This time she said if she had to tell me a 3rd time I would have to leave. I pull it up and started to say something but didnt. She said What? And when I didnt say anything she said thats what I thought. Well that infuriated me and left but not before speaking my mind. She said get out of here. Smokers are allowed to not have their masks pulled up!. That woman needs lessons in customer service. You have lost a customer that spends at least $200 weekly.

Im staying at Hampton Inn across the parking lot from Gold Dust west. First I went the Golddust guest services to sign up for my card. They were so nice and very knowledgeable about things going on at the casino.I had dinner at the grill and the food was absolutely delicious. Callie was my server and she was so delightful making sure that I had everything that I needed. The food was good and the service was even better! I had the prime rib dinner for $9.99 and it was so good.I highly recommend both the Hampton Inn and Gold Dust casino.

Actually we were there for the restaurant. The prime rib deal is very good. The prime rib is good quality. Ive had some that were impossible to chew. Theirs is a good quality meat and cooked well.

As a club member iv been a very loyal customer and the returns on the so called rewards have been ridiculous. Iv sadly played there for a couple years now and they have now lost my business.

Taking COVID a little too far.... We need to breathe a little in our own little private corners. There is 5 modes of transportation for a virus, not just one to be concerning yourself with

The food was amazing the waitress was making sure we had everything, there were only 2 there so it was a little bit of a wait but still loved it

It was always a favorite place of mine when I lived in Reno, Killer pizza, machines pretty cold the last couple of times Ive been there but the people are always very friendly

Would be more stars but with mandatory masks and distancing there were only 3 seats to play blackjack and hard to drink a beer! Not going to last long without going bankrupt at this rate. I feel for the employees they are really working hard to make this work.

The hostess did not even acknowledge us. I went up to her and asked her if she could see us. She did not think that was funny. Other than that bad start, it was pretty good.

The hostess and wait staff were very nice. The ribeye was way overcooked, the loaded potato was tasteless as was the corn. Very disappointed, but I tipped both the server and the busser and did not complain.My favorite machine is out of service but I found another that takes my money just as good!

One of the newest casinos in Elko. Good atmosphere decent payout percentage. Great prime rib and the Tap room is a comfortable place to just chill and have a good cold beer!

I avoid eating here after dozen of diners got food poisoning while back.

Never a disappointment for a quick and cheap bite to eat. Almost always do the steak and shrimp. Its just priced right!

Aside from the whole salmonella situation, of which my family member was affected (or maybe I should say “infected”), Gold Dust West is...alright.The staff is seemingly as invisible as humanly possible, but the bartender named Eric is great! He stands out from other employees I’ve talked to and from what I have seen, many other customers/guests have pleasant interactions with him as well. :)Honestly, I don’t frequent Gold Dust West anymore, but I’m glad I went to the House Full of Friends tonight.

You couldnt get a free drink due to COVID and nobody came to see if I needed a drink. So it was a short visit cause I got thirsty.

Horrible service, the waiter smelled like he bathed in weed. Not very attentive, forgot the condiments. The hostess never smiled, didnt feel very welcome as a guest, more of a problem. Ordered the prime rib, it came out dry. The mashed potatoes were cold and kind of crusty. Almost seemed like they had been sitting awhile. My guest ordered the philly, which on the menu said thin slices beef. All it was was a crumbled up hamburger patty. The asparagus was good ha. At the end of our meal we hadnt seen the waiter in about 10 minutes and waited another 15 for the check or to be asked if we wanted dessert. Finally got tired of waiting and asked the hostess to ring us up. By far a bad experience. We wont be visiting again.

We went in for a late night dinner. The food was good and service was decent. Our server did a great job till they dropped the check and never came back. We needed a to go box and had to track someone down. Thats the 2nd time its happened. Good deals on food though.

I love this place. Its rite off of the highway there are convenient places to shop before or after u gamble...they also have a restaurant inside the casino... The hampton inn hotel is in the same parking lot as the casino...oh the rooms there are nice also very clean no smoking though, but to me that just allows me to go n gamble a little more.. The staff and service at the gold dust is much better now then from a Year ago I do have to say...so I really like it.

No energy. Every worker does smile but the atmosphere is dull. The smiles are nice though. Maybe they dont have a before 7 crowd

Pretty smoky, but other than that a very clean nicely set up casino. I went in here to use the bathroom, which was very clean.. I was pleasantly surprised ! I would use the bathroom here again !!

Prime rib dinner was very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. My wife and Daughter were very pleased with their meals also. My only complaint would be that you have smoke / cigarette smell when entering the casino. Overall we were very satisfied.

I drank 5 beers and ate a stack of onion rings for so cheap i wouldnt tell u how much - dont want em to raise the price. Great deal! Hey people, play in Nevada. By far this is the best Casino state in terms of customer service and prices. Iowa suxx!!! Especially HARD ROCK!!! DONT GO THERE!!!!

Good food, slow service because of under-staffing. Went to have dinner at the barely-busy restaurant tonight and waited 20 minutes AFTER I ordered my food before I finally left. No drink order, no salad and I couldnt even find my waitress. This certainly isnt the first time this has happened to me but it is the first time I have walked out. Ive been going to GD for 8 years and service isn’t what it used to be, especially on trivia nights when they have 1 bartender. One guy next to me at the bar during trivia timed his wait on his phone; 15 minutes later he said *uck this and left. He was someone staying at the hotel that just wanted a beer. The bartender was simply overwhelmed with waiting tables and covering the entire bar. Please get more help.Update 6/12/19 - In response to the owner’s reply; the staff you have is wonderful, they are just overwhelmed, especially on trivia nights. It’s really that simple. The story I told about the guy waiting 15 minutes for a beer is what prompted me to write a review. I don’t want a free meal or anything to “make it up to me”. I already like the place. Just get more people. It’s unfair to your employees to put them in a position where customers get upset because there are too many of us and not enough of you.

The lounge seats are new since our last visit they are amazing...it seems like theres more room to get up during the movie and at least you dont have someones but in your face when they get up , that can be nasty , ug .
