Ive been in for open bowling and Ive run a league at Elk Grove Bowl and Ive had a wonderful experience everytime. Debbie and Joel do an amazing job running their leagues. The staff here is always so friendly. The lanes are great with a good setup for both serious bowlers and those who just bowl in leagues to socialize. My league has been at many different alleys and so far Elk Grove has been one of my favorites. Thanks for providing such a great place to bowl!

They have cool new recordkeeping monitors. Other than that its a standard bowling alley. They do shoe rental and balls are available for use. Look for off time prices, its very affordable.

Its a nice venue overall and is kept up pretty well. The snack shop has some really good food choices. Lots to do in the game room and bar if youre wanting a break from bowling. Not a huge fan of the layout of the seating for league bowling or large groups, especially for the lanes directly behind the counter. Overall though its a fun place to bowl at a reasonable price.

Great alley with a fun arcade area, snack bar has good food & friendly staff. Only thing they need is better hand dryers like the kind that ripples your skin as it takes forever to dry your hands which holds up other bowlers

We went here as a family to bowl. The place was nice and clean. This is a nice place for families to get together. The restaurant wasnt open yet but they allow outside food in the bowling alley. Afterwards theres an arcade for adults and children to play.

Nice facility. Good bar also. However I have my lowest average at this bowling alley. I have a 175 avg everywhere else I go but here I struggle to shoot 160 haha. Most likely human error

Havent been here in awhile but took my daughter here today. Its nice that they participate in the kids bowl free program, so my daughter gets 2 free games of bowling a day during the summer. We just have to pay for shoes for her. I see that they added more to the arcade section which is nice but kinda sad it cuts down on the pool table area. Since we moved back to elk grove village it was going to be nice to have pool tables so close to my house but Im not a pro at pool so the area they have will do lol. The guy at the front desk was really nice. The bowling balls are pretty beat up but again Im no pro so its not a big deal to me.

Guys you charge so much for shoes, you can invest some back and get new shoe rentals. I have 11 years old shoes that look like brand new compare to yours. The pool table by the window was so much out of level the balls change direction when traveling aacross

I never rate a place or very seldom complain about a place but this bowling center is a joke. Their hours say 9-12 a.m. but on Monday the 22 of August my boyfriend and I went to bowl 2 games. We were half way through our first game and this man (who I’m assuming is the manager) came up to us with $3 in his hand rudely said here’s your money for your last game. We’re closing at 11 and you can’t finish this game in 5 minutes! WHAT THE HELL!! If that was the case then why didn’t the lady at the front counter tell us that when we arrived at 9:45 p.m. I’m not blaming her but get your hours straightened out between co workers and management. DON’T GO HERE unless you want money thrown in your face!

Youll be surprised how busy this place is at times! Still a great to bowl especially when they have their specials going on.

One of the best bowling alleys around! Very nostalgic feel but the floor is always clean and the staff is awesome. Lanes are pretty good too.

We have been a part of a once a month couples league for over a decade. Over the last few years EG Bowl has done plenty of upgrading. Friendly staff.

This is my favorite bowling alley anywhere around here. Ive been going there since I was a kid. Their prices are better than a lot of places in the area, and they even have $1.50 games Monday and Tuesday nights. Which is awesome.

Fun, good bar prices, lanes are in great shape

Its a decent place to go for bowling. I like their touch tablet interface which is quite advance when compared to Brunswick. It also has pool and arcade games. However, I felt that lanes were too oily.

Love it! Staff was very personal. They made me feel like I was a reguar customer even tho this was my first time to bowl there. Am from out of state and they made me feel at home ! Bowl there, you will not regret it!

Arcade is not sad broken machines like some places. And it has video gambling for the adults.

The staff here is very pleasant. Brad runs a great pro shop too.

Well maintained. Clean and well run. They offer a bar and food. Although the bar was expensive. 14 dollars for a small pitcher of Miller lite. Bowling was 45 dollars for 4 people to play three games each. ( Without shoe rental) So not too bad. The whole day cost 20 dollars per person and was a lot of fun.

Average bowling lane with small bar for your adult beverages. There are a lot of bowling lanes available and they have pretty decent food to purchase. The staff was friendly in the bar and at the front counter. I will come back to use the actual bowling lanes next time I am in town for a while.

Very good lanes. All updated scoring systems and computers. Lanes are immaculate, even after leagues, lanes have oil on them. Foods good, prices at night are amazing and quite cheap. Had numerous of fun nights here for under 10 dollars. Overall fun and cheap entertainment for all ages

Inexpensive, clean with a modern bowling alley feel. Great bar with lots of tvs & a game room for the kids as well. The staff was outstanding to deal with and treated everyone like old friends! Great place!

Well, when the lanes were newly replaced, the lanes had a great shot. Now, almost a year later, the lanes are pure slop. Too much oil, no back end shot. I bowl on a Saturday evening mixed league here, this will be my last year at EG bowl. Normally a 200 avg. Bowler in other establishments, I can barely break 170, no matter what I do. Generally throw 16 - 17 mph, have to resort to a non controlled 12mph to make the ball break at all. Only highlights of this establishment is the friendliness of the desk staff and the scoring system. Hope they run out of lane oil soon.

We have had birthday parties and school events here and they have always been great to work with. I would highly recommend them for parties.

On a busy night when they didnt have any Lanes and ours was malfunctioning they did everything they could to make the situation better. All in all they took care of us and well be back to enjoy their lanes.

The staff are nice, bathrooms clean, and good lanes. They are good to our league. If you want a drink at the bar, expect a wait. She is VERY slow.

Cashier guys unprofessional and condescending. Should learn a thing or two about how to talk to and treat customers. Would not recommend go somewhere else to enjoy your night.

$20 for an hour of open bowling, plus shoes is kind of pricey but we had a good time.

Pretty much grew up at this place, my grandma worked accounting there in the early 80s. Iconic EG landmark, fun place nice people! Still wish grandma was there, I miss bowling for free lol ;)

They host many charities and causes, and are an asset to Elk Grove as a caring buisness.

I miss a good old fashioned bowling alley. Sadly more and more are closing. I dont bowl often, but Im glad some are still around.

They are working on. Been bowling here for over 20 years. New screens, returns and lanes to come. The grill is a great place to grab a quick bite especially on bowling night.

I love it because its very fun and at 11:00 it turns into a glow in the dark bowling place.

The alley looks nice. The pool tables look like theyre about two years overdue for new cloth (all but a couple have been moved out to make way for a remodel but I imagine theyll be back soon).

Drink are way to expensive, and bar is under staffed.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Saying Excuse me, to one of the hosts and getting a the response of OH, WHAT DO YOU WANT! Or, asking for a receipt on the food bill and hearing DO YOU THINK WERE MADE OF PAPER. Never got a receipt. Never again!
