My level of play stunk. But the course is beautiful & in great shape. The only flat surfaces are the tee boxes. Everything else is undulating & very challenging.If youre in the area, I highly recommend playing a round here!

I love this course however the new lady behind the counter is a dick and there is no pro shop store however the place is coming together

Pretty good layout. It has several dog legs and a few blind shots. Keep the ball in play and all is well.

Booked online and arrived to course with another group having exact tee time. Play was turtle slow and we left after 9 because of the 5 hr pace we were on! Pace of play is killing golf. This was last Wednesday

Very good track and the greens are almost always good. I know it switched hands multiple times in the past many years, but the last time I played it was in great shape and seem to be on its way toward its true potential.

Great course. Fun and challenging

The course was in fantastic shape. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am only giving it 3 stars because of the pace of play. We started (twosome) at around 8:10 am on Saturday morning. We were behind a group of 5, three of whom were walking. We waited on every single shot, while there were at least 3 open holes ahead of this particular group. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes. These clowns had the entire front 9 backed up, and could have cared less that they essentially ruined the round for many people playing behind them.We got rain checks for the back 9. Neither of us was having much fun playing behind such an inconsiderate group of guys. It should never take that long to play 9 holes, and if the course is going to allow five to play together (and walkers on the weekend when it is so busy) then they need to mandate and enforce that they allow faster groups to play through.The pro shop attendant was apologetic, but didn’t offer any assistance to get around them at the turn.We will be back to give them another chance at some point, but it is safe to say that if we run into these problems again we will pull Elizabethton off of the rotation of courses we regularly play.

Course is in pretty good condition

Pretty course, well maintained. Cart rental reasonable price-recommend you rent one unless you like uphill on a regular basis. Hole #4 is murder on the knees

Played in the rain but we had fun, course is well maintained, if you dont like hills this isnt the place for you. Long wide fairways, greens can be tricky make sure your putter is working. Overall I give it a 8 out of 10.

They are trying to get some business back at this place but uts been a major fail so far. They are sending out 2 play for the price of 1 promos to get some play. I just tried booking a tee time for this afternoon but their system does not work properly and you cant book it. So I called and the guy answering the phone told me to come on in and he would charge us full price each and then give us another round some other time. Thanks but no thanks, thats not the same as the promo you sent me thru email. Im gonna just go play another local course today and highly suggest everyone else does the same in the future. Same ole Eliz golf course it appears.

Beat course i have ever player on. Fairways and greens are well maintained and the employees are one of a kind. Very helpful and kind. Rates are very good.

Greens are consistent but very slow. There isnt a lot of thinking involved in playing this course. Every hole is just straight out. You may have a few blind shots with the changes in elevation, but if you know the number, hit it straight and youll be alright. The course is currently beat up. You cant tell the difference between the fairway and the rough. Large spots on the course have no grass at all. A lot of bunkers around the course have been filled in to speed up play. There are much better options in the area if youre willing to drive 30 minutes. If youre going there to practice, they charge $8 for a large bucket of range balls and $5 for a small bucket.

They keep the course in great shape and got us in early.

An older gentleman came into my work the other day and we sparked up a conversation about the game of golf. The man has played golf in the area for over 30 years and he said his biggest fear was finally coming true. The game of golf is dying. Today I got a true understanding of what he meant. When golf courses care more about the money that they bring in instead of the game of golf and how it should be played it’s kills the game. Nothing aggravated me more than playing a solo round but am constantly being held back by 3somes or 4some groups ahead who will not let me play through or when mediocre players spend hours literally hours on a hole either searching for their 3rd ball they lost on the hole or wasting time hacking 30 times just to get on the green and I’m here still waiting to tee off. No one in the general area of Elizabethton truly knows how to run a course with proper etiquette rules and truly enforce them. You would think on a Tuesday these problems wouldn’t occur but man I would hate to see how hectic and slow the pace of play would be on the weekends. Course was okay for the weather over the winter but this establishment needs new blood and management to get it to where it can reach its full potential

Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape but greens were bad! Course is very basic with very little thought put into the layout. Very boring course if you ask me.
