We love our park in Elizabeth City. The kids love running around and finding painted rocks!! Always clean and fun to look for fish!

This is a great place to watch the water or the boats. Its a beautiful picnic spot, and it holds some great historical acts!

Still a beautiful place, great,relaxing scenery, but Elizabeth City crimes have gone up alot. Not a safe place, especially after dark. Lived here a very long time, ended up moving away from the city.

This is a great park. Great if you want to peacefully walk through and sit quietly. But if you want to fish, or run around... then FORGET IT. Has some green grass, benches, parking is ample.

I come here a lot. Its very close from my apartment downtown. I love the water

Nice quiet place to enjoy a picnic with the kids, toss a ball around, or just enjoy the sounds and beauty of the river. Very clean, and everyone practicing social distancing with their families.

I attended the Veterans day program at Waterfront park. It was a great event with a demonstration by the US Coast Guard, Northeastern High School band, area JROTC/ROTC and color guards from various agencies, and various speakers. It was heartwarming to see all of the veterans both young and old. I most liked the community members that showed up to offer their support and patriotism.

Awesome view of the deep black water, nice water sounds. It reminds me of the Dismal Swamp! There are benches to sit on.

I was here for the Potato Festival. Giving it 3 stars bc everything is nice but some of that food is high, a lot of walking especially for someone with RA like me. If you have problems with your knees, back, feet etc I wouldnt recommend it. Unless youre going there for a specific thing like a candy apple or funnel cake or taking your kids, letting them get on rides while you relax. Some of the games ppl tried to get more money out of you..smh. You could either get a wristband for $25(ride all the rides you want) or just by tickets which were $1 each. So if you brought 20 tickets thats $20 and some of the rides are 4 or 5 tickets. So by the time your child get on maybe 5 rides all the tickets will be gone.. Definitely cheaper to get a wristband but if you have 3+ kids youre spending $75 and up just for a wristband then you have the high food(eat before you come then maybe get something sweet), then you have toys and etc you can buy. If youre not financially stable thats definitely not the place for you. You can go to the beach or somewhere like Dave n Busters and still have tons of fun. All in all my 3 kids had fun, thats all that matters.

Why are there so many cars in the parking lot? They ate clearly labeled trailer parking only. When near by there is an empty lot. Like the Ramp, and the fishing, but the start and finish of the day such a downer.

This was beautiful. Could be great for a romantic after dinner stroll.

Beautiful, serene, waterfront. Sit and relax, visit with boaters, eat at the nearby restaurants.

It serves its purpose but not suited for Class 2 vessels.

I can not reccomend this place because I had to work the whole time did not get to have any fun. Im sorry

Overall, this is a nice small park.It has a nice view of the river and a great place to sit and quetly reflect.There is no playground. There is no restroom. There are not enough shade trees.For a downtown Park, it is kept in excellent condition and stays very clean.There is plenty to do in downtown which makes this a nice place to sit and relax after walking around for a bit.

Hard to launch your boat or park your trailer. The parking lot is always full of random people parked in trailer spots.

Quaint lil town beautiful clean park. Kinda hate to say anything else about it. If you are the type that likes out of the way not so progressive tourism you will love it. If your Myrtle Beach... move on to Outer Banks.

Beautiful dock and nice place for a walk and picnic.

Even though at times the waterfront needs trash to be picked up from the lawn, it is soothing watching the boats float and bob, and watch as the ducks swim in the shade. The City also keeps the Lawns nice and cut. Truly Picnic Worthy! Careful though, it is Pet Friendly, and where there are pets, there may be small nasty surprises. But other than that, no other complaints!

I went for the potato festival and the water was so pretty and everything was so fun! Try and come next year to see what I mean (if you have not gone yet). #Amazing

The city needs to put visible markers for the end of the ramp. Caused 300$ in damages to my trailer. 1st and last time I will ever launch my boat from there. The NCWRC should be the ones to manage it.

Its nice there, but it would be much nicer if they had more benches to rest on, on a hot day. Especially in the shade. The potato festival was running this weekend which made the place louder and more crowded.

Beautiful place, lots of space, great for gathering as small groups or large for events.

Good place to visit honest opinion. dont hang around when the sun starts going down. there is a tendancy of gunshots in that area of town. besides that the fishing is good .

I was sitting under a shade tree eating icecream. If u want to relax, read, eat, orhave fun playing with your kids you should check out the waterfront park its very nice

As my kids say, this is the kind of park where you just park. A few picnic tables, a nice boardwalk and great views of the river. We come here often to park and walk around town browsing shops and looking for painted rocks. There are some nice open green spaces and huge shade trees. You can fish from the board walk, but no swimming.

The park is really nice. The only issue is parking can be tight when there are a lot of boat trailers parked there.

Its a peaceful relaxing environment. You can sit out and feed the birds while watching boats on the water.

The park is really nice for a short walk. Its clean from what I can see. The park did put my dog on high alert but I didnt see a cause for that reaction.

The fire works show sucked as always. The city fire department wasting taxpayer money as always .the fire department used the ladder truck to get a better view than everybody else at the park.

This visit the park was dirty with Trask blowing around. Trash bins overflowing. Smell of urine around gazebo in middle of park. Large group by the boat ramps cussing and being obnoxious. Need better police patrols or security.

I go to walk here whenever I come to the city. My daughter loves being outside so she loves walking with me. We also love looking for rocks.
