This place is kind of small. They do have some new games from the last time I went. The tables were kind of high. But overall it was ok. This is during Covid right before the election. There was no liquor being served but Ill go back.

This place was like a ghost town after reopening, but they are slowly working to bring it back to life. It is nice to see the sports book open there as well as the new TV setup at the bar + 24 hour service. Very good beer selection. There are some really great dealers that work here also. In my opinion, this casino would be well served with more food options / comp options / non-gaming seating areas on the gaming floor itself. All of these amenities are pretty slim-to-none here these days. Relatively nearby Rivers Casino has far more options as far as these amenities are concerned.

For great customer service. Joanna, at the Customer Service Desk (GVC Club) was very welcoming and professional when helping me to sign up and get a Players Card. She should give customer service training to every employee that interacts with customers. Well done!!

Had a great time here! Ate at Prime Burger House and it was fantastic! I order the veggie burger patty on the garlic Parmesan burger. Family at the table ordered the plain burger and Red Bull. Fries were FANTASTIC! Would recommend for a good bite to eat before heading into the casino. Prices are completely reasonable, the restaurant is super clean, modern atmosphere, and our waiter super nice. Worth checking out.

This place is a joke! The new layout is ok. If youre looking to just throw away your hard earned cash then definitely go because now you barely break even. I understand the casino needs to make money as well but, for the love of god, loosen up the slots a little! Its not even slightly enjoyable anymore irregardless of how low you bet or how high.

I have been here a few times and was not really impressed. The staff takes their jobs way too seriously. Hard to have a good time with staff breathing down your neck.

Majority of us lose our money at casinos but whats makes us come back is their customer service. Sergio at CS was very helpfil, nice, professional and friendly. Good experience I would would definitely go back there.

Took an hour drive to check it out. Even with Covid this place was pretty busy. The machines were hot and cold. Drinks a bit pricey. And security is hot on your trail to make sure your mask is over your nose. My girlfriend was sited twice...Really? Not many bathrooms in the place. The buffet was closed ...again Covid. Ugh.Not sure we would make the trip up again.

This place was very very very horrible we went with over 20 people and not one of us had won anything and we all spent over $500 the wind rate at this place is atrocious I would not waste my time or money to ever go back to this casino as I have been to plenty casinos all around the United States and by far this is the worst payout ever , it must be because of how long they were shut down but still 20 people seriously, we came in for the toy show and thought it would be fun but the slots dont pay , we ranged from 1c slots to 5$ slots , I personally put 400$ into a machine with no bones games and thes best win on 9$ bet was 6$ , seriously next year we will just host a in hotel casino night and acually have fun and feel like we did

Visited on a late night Sunday. Not a lot of people at all! Very comfortable atmosphere. Lots of constant cleaning by employees. Safe distancing. Had a nice time. Will definitely go back!

Very very beautiful river boat and walk. Casino is ok but its kinda hard to get a soda but otherwise its cool.

Its a clean and nice casino. Fun to go in and put $20 into slots to play for a couple hours. Walk away with nothing or win something doesnt matter too much, I had a good time. Put $100 onto a blackjack table and walked away 4 hours later with $100 still and had a blast!

I didnt like any part of it...the slots were depressing, the tables were slow, roulette was even sad. On top of that, I took my mom to eat and had the salmon. I ended up with diarrhea and vomiting all night. I did not have any alcohol.

The facility is very nice, as a whole. Very clean atmosphere and bathrooms. I had the buffet on Friday night, the price was a little steep for the quality and selection (38.99). The place was packed, but the line moved quickly. I would definitely go again, but I think I would try one of the other restaurants inside.The casino itself was nice and well kept. Drinks were fairly priced and the service was fast and friendly.

Only had 1 table open for each game. Impossible to get on, dont understand why they dont have more open. There were a lot of people standing around waiting for a spot. Ended up leaving without playing anything. Such a waste of time. Casino itself didnt seem bad.

Always enjoy this casino. Right off the the expressway just outside off Chicago. They have valet parking and a parking garage. They have multiple restaurants and bars in this faculty. They have 100s of slots machines to choose from. Table games galore blackjack, roulette, craps etc. Great experience here

Have been going to the casino for many years. It used to be so much fun. There were long lines just to get in to gamble. It was like a party. People socialized as they were playing and rooting for the person next to them to hit something, not necessarily a Jack pot, but to walk away with something. Now however, if you should win $20.00 you can be sure the next spins will take that and more. Obviously you must know what youre doing in the casino business but when I see so many empty machines that are sitting there idle, it makes me wonder how the casino can stay open. I see so many cut backs, the dining areas, amount of staff, the increase to $5.99 to use the ATM machine. I realize you want to make money but dont understand how you can with the loss of revenue from slot machines not being used. So many of the regulars that used to go, dont anymore. There is no fun in watching the spins on the slots yield nothing. This is another regular goer that wont be there often anymore.

Security guard made it very difficult for me to drink my beer while playing slots. Was way to concerned over a facemask. Just wont be going back until this pandemic chills out a little bit.

On the positive side, it is a beautiful casino. The staff have ZERO customer service skills. On a busy day, we had to wait over 45 minutes in their Crave Deli to get a sandwich. They refused to compensate a bowl of soup while we waited. The staff basically looked as us like too bad.The line to go through on a busy day did not know where start an order, which added to the wait time. My husband has his MBA and is graduating with his Doctorate in Business had it figured out while we had to wait. When the top manager on duty was alerted to this, he didnt have a solution other than Sorry.On the positive side, their bathrooms had a close to the opening handicap stall. Very forward thinking in that department.I would have given it no stars for their customer service. Thats what makes or breaks a business.

Most of the table and card games have a $10 minimum, which is pretty cheap for an Illinois casino. The dealers are friendly, funny and very helpful, giving advice to their players. Great place to learn how to play all the different games.

The buffet has not changed its menu in years. No variety available. No baked foods, nothing but fried shrimp. Every restaurant change their menu from time to time.Maybe chicken and gravy, or beef stew. Help

I love the food and wonderful restaurants. Fresh caught salmon served with spinach and capers. A lot of choices to please all palates. Service is awesome. Just very tight if your going there to gamble. Youre better off spending your money at the fine dining.

The staff is nice the lobsters were warm to cool, and over steamed and flavor was all gone. For almost $50 with tip really not worth it. The crab feast on Wednesdays is much better.

If youre a senior you have to love this place. The buffet is half off ongreat buffet with a coupon you get right at the buffet. You use your card and go to the sign in machine and you receive a 50% off coupon. The buffet is great, it includes the drink and the greatest desserts in the northwest suburbs.

I went to the Grand Victoria Casino tonight and I lost $160 within 20 minutes I didnt win a single bonus and barely won anything. Once upon a time I could go to the Grand Victoria Casino and leave with more money than what I came in with but for the past few years Ive noticed that I have lost so much money. I wont be coming back here again I cant afford to lose more money than what I came in with and after tonight realizing that I decided to leave before I lost any more money. Grand Victoria you really disappointed me .

Pretty good odds on roulette and poker. Just fun if you want to get out for a bit with friends and family. Great eateries in there. Pretty top of the line food. Just remember, know when to hold em and fold em and youll already walk away with at least your money back. Its fun.

My wifes choice when shes feeling lucky. The atmosphere is nice and the interior is fully non-smoking. All visits vary based on concurrent players, so your mileage may vary but it is generally nice and reasonably quiet for a casino of its size. The only downside is that the odds are typically not that player-favoring and that can be discouraging it you go in with a lower set budget to play on that visit.

We went to the buffet now I have not been there for years. I Live in Florida and I said sure I will go. The buffet food was awful. Dried out. No taste. Looked old, but the fried chicken was good, this was a Thursday night. I go to lots of buffets, I hope I just caught them on a bad night. And for losing my money. That was my fault.

Great wait staff! Felt very comfortable. The tables/games I wasnt sure of how to play, they thought me! I still lost, but had fun knowing a new game. This place is awesome. Highly recommended!

This review is for their all you can eat buffet. Probably the best around. Forget going to Golden Corral or other chinese buffets. This place has it all. Chinese food, Italian food, american, Mexican, cuts of meat, stir fry, their deserts are also very good

The buffet was a huge disappointment. After standing in line for 45 minutes and paying around $42, I was expecting much better than what was offered. Prime rib was like leather, crab legs were mushy, nothing worth the money I spent. Dont waste your time or money.

You must wear a mask at all time. They have slot machines turned off for social distancing. Bar is still open. You can drink at the bar or when you sit down somewhere. Everyone is very friendly.

We enjoy going to the casino we go often but recently I have had surgery and needed a wheel chair and a walker. It was a very awful experience people who need these things to get around have a hard time getting access to all the machines there is no room to get to all the machines. You really need to make more room in between isles. The bottom level has a lot of space that could be used. Not handicap friendly.

Came here a few weeks ago with my husband on a Friday night for the seafood buffet and was extremely disappointed. I would have not spent that much money on just lobster tails which was the only seafood they had left. They did not have oyster rockefellers, mussels, crab cakes, clams, or calamari. It would have been nice if they told us before we paid and got in the restaurant

Now this place is nice. Its a great place to go for a day of fun. It does get a little crowded times so dont be surprised

Ive gone to Grand Victoria for years. Ive won a few jackpots, thats fun. The dealers are for the most part, fun. The slots are pretty good too. Ive been to all of their restaurants. You can use points youve built up so they arent too expensive. The steakhouse is pricey but the food is excellent. I do recommend it if you have a few bucks to play. If you go in with the attitude, you are making a deposit it is OK. If you think you are going to come out ahead, forget it.

It is ok at best. No cocktail servers walked by in 4 hours, machines some were sticky as in not clean. If I was alone I would have left much earlier.

I always love going to casino and I usually lose , yesterday I saw two people won 7,500 and 2,200 on the same machine in like 30 minutes.

We never made it in the front door. Some security guard decided to ask for my I.D.( Im well over the age to enter the casino). I give him my I.D. which he takes to some machine to scan. Why would he need to scan my I.D. once he saw that I was more than above the legal age to enter a casino? I have been to many other casinos and this has never happened. I felt humiliated, and embarrassed not understanding why he chose to even stop me in the first place. I will never return there again.

The property is very well kept and I had no issues with parking. Once I was in the Casino I felt like I was being smashed into a sardine can. The floor plan is not very open. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
