New El Paso friends and neighbors: DO NOT PAY EL PASO CLASSIC SOCCER LEAGUE ANYTHING Until you are 100 percent sure you are on a roster. Please ignore those emails and deadlines. The EPCSL website, bi laws, league rules, payment agreement, and refund policy DOES NOT state that rostering is entirely competitive and fees paid are non refundable if your player fails to make a roster. Their site is very misleading. Unlimited Registration is open to the general public. This is against the advice of the South Texas Youth Soccer Association for programs that competitively roster (see STYSA registrar manual on their the STYSA site). STYSA recommends not accepting payment until tryouts or similar are completed and rosters are established.This is not sour grapes because she did not make a team. My family is new to the area. My daughter wanted to play soccer to be a part of the community and meet people. She has played all of her life and loves it. For 125.00 We registered to play soccer with EPCSL for spring and fall (19 and 20) on the EPCSL site After reading all information available on the site. We followed their instructions TO THE LETTER and joined West Texas Rush and paid 73.00 club dues. More than halfway through the season, after being instructed not to attend games, WEST TEXAS RUSH Coach and Director said she would not be able to play because she was not “advanced”.Being ADVANCED was not a precondition to register. Everyone gladly accepted my payment without condition.We found out from the Director of EPCSL that this league is entirely competitive and rosters are at the discretion of the coach. My requests for refund for fall and spring 20 have gone completely ignored. My refund is being withheld without explanation. This is counter to the payment agreement at the time of purchase and the refund policy published on their site.If anything similar has happened to you, please report to Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. If this is not isolated event, it is even more despicable. If this is systemic, it is especially problematic. I also recommend contacting the Better Business Bureau. People should be aware, especially in light misleading information on their site and open, unlimited public registration.My family and I have been treated horribly by EPCSL AND WEST TEXAS RUSH. For an apparent non refundable fee of about 200.00 I have only purchased heart break. PLEASE BE VERY VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE FOLKS and try to avoid a negative youth soccer experience accompanied by some tears and a lot of aggravation. Very surprised by this because El Paso has been very welcoming and friendly otherwise.There is unfortunately no option for negative stars for this review. This has been an awful experience for my family. AGAIN, BE CAREFUL!!! AVOID THE HEARTACHE.

Best soccer fields in town, but... entrances/exits are not always open on time or not at all. Restrooms might not be available either and a miracle is needed most of the time when it comes to finding a parking space.
