Great family ice skating rink. Private lessons are awesome for beginners. Both, my daughter and my son learned and improved their skating skills here. We really enjoy coming here on nice and sunny winter days. This rink does get busy on some weekends (especially during the holidays).

Came here last Winter and absolutely loved it!!!! The space is expansive as it spreads out into two rinks. They are constantly cleaning them to ensure your smooth skating experience. The prices are reasonable and the location convenient to get to . Looking forward to going back.

Very nice skating rink, great rates, not too crowded and is located in a beautiful park. The rink is outside so rain can affect schedule. I went today and it wasnt too cold and not too warm either so it was good.

Didnt have skate sizes 7 through 9. Also didnt have half sizes. They also require you to have the exact skates to get your shoes back. Otherwise, OK experience on the ice. (this was the holidays.)

Great place for skating. Skating lessons from Edison township are good way to get introduced and learn ice skating. Staff and trainers are very helpful !!

Well maintained skating rink and friendly staff. charges are very reasonable (5/6$ for child/adult admission + 5$ for skates rental). its fun place for kids as well adult. its a great place to get your kids during summer (roller skates) as well winter (ice skates). there are scheduled group lessons for kids and they are pretty awesome.

This is place to enjoy your winter time. Staff is courteous and nice. Very clean facility. They also have classes to lean skate (once a week). You get free sessions with enrollment in class. Skates are available on rent. Ample parking is available. Small snack bar is located with in facility.

Difficult to tell if theyre open or not without visiting. The web site lists spring and fall hours, not summer. Calling reveals that theyre open, but only for lessons. Virtually impossible to get a live person to get a straight answer. Beautiful facility -- probably because its set up to avoid use. Your tax dollars, not at work.

I used to love taking my daughter here.The prices for lessons are very competitive although actually getting to the park required some effort due to local traffic. The park itself is beautiful and very spacious. The parking is also very good.

I enjoy the scenery here at the park not the rink. I usually bring my lunch & sometimes go for a nice walk. They have a beautiful lake to walk around.

Lots to do. You can rent a bbg area theres a lake and a skating rink( ice) theres 2 play areas for kids and a lot of parking

Its a very nice family inviting park. Theres ice skating in the winter. Roller skating in the summer and many more. The prices are good and such a nice place to hang out at.

Went today there, but they have specific hours so it was close , or maybe they are not open for this season who knows. But the place is cool. I have been there before.

Good kids safe place to learn ice skating. They have paid classes and open skate slots. Check park site for times as their keep changing. Of best is to call their number and ask.

I have rated a 1 star because unfortunately the cons weigh heavier to me than the pro’s as the cons actually affect the ice skating experience a lot. The pro’s are only a nice to have.PRO-Staff is very friendly.-Decent food and drink selection for the type of establishment.-Fees are low.CON-Ice is in bad shape.-Group of rowdy teenagers without parents that pick on smaller kids are often at the rink.-Rental skates are not great.

Great park for a leisure relaxing stroll around the pond. Well maintained and mostly friendly crowd. I enjoy walking my dog here. Has a good sized public ice rink as well as other outdoor amenities like tennis courts.

I have been going here for years.Awesome, easy way to get some ice skating done in the winter. Very family friendly, and most people are novices.My only gripe is that they have raised prices, and shortened times over the years.

This place is amazing! I go Ice skating every week here since I live close by. It is also one of the nicest places to set the ice skating rink since it is near the park and the big lake. Whenever it is raining or snowing it is still open. Which is one of the best reasons to come here. Anyways I hope to see other people visiting here at the Roosevelt Park Family Skating Rink!

Beautiful well-kept Park in fishing here for years especially in the fall when you do the breeder trout stocking while everybodys out shooting deer bow hunting me and the boys have a bonanza on these big 17 in 21 in rainbow trout excellent Channel catfishing and very good largemouth bass

Very crowded and not clean but good place for kids to enjoy

My first time there, sandwich was good, but house keeping needs attention, my opinion, lil dirty, tables left dirty had to have girl clean, rugs need a mega shampoo, why would they put carpet in seating area, with food drops n spills.

We have been going here on Black Friday with family for years, such a fun time!

Fun place to ice skate during the winter. The ice is a little rough close to the boards and there are some divots that may make you trip. The rental skates are nice. The food is alright but not that great.

Location is great, but you better bring your own Ice skating shoes, because their are bad, i didnt like it at all

The lake in Roosevelt Park in Edison NJ is a great place to take a walk around the lake. The path is paved, and a great place to take a jog too!

Very big park, you can bring food to BBQ and go for long walks through the park. slides and swings for kids and basketball courts. theres also a skating area.
