The theater itself has only a few screens, so its not always showing what you want, but it isnt always packed full of teen kids. The corral for food is efficient, I guess, but is very hot for the customer and makes you feel like cattle. As usual, the food and drink is always overpriced as thats how they make their money, its what you should expect.I dont show up any more for the movies during the pandemic. I show up, buy a take home bag of popcorn for $11 and eat it throughout the week watching movies at home. Dont forget to spend a good 5 minutes loading up that bag at the butter dispenser, shake it around, and drip it down the sides to spread as the butter as much as possible while employees try to sweep around you and kids watch in amazement.

Smaller size theater, has the benefit of bistro style movie thing going. Did not order a thing however due to menu prices. It looks to be yet another Alamo draft house imitation that doesnt come close to capturing the essence of 30 year old reels and blue cheese burgers and queso. Seats are comfortable but dont recline.

Love, love, love(d) this movie theater before the pandemic hit! Service was fantastic, movie screens good sized, getting real food was great too. Yes, the food is more expensive but its inside a movie theater where everything is more pricey. While the food we got was more expensive, it was sooo much better than theater food at the other local movie theater places. My daughter ordered a pizza and her friends ordered a burger, some fries, and everyone ordered a beverage. So the food itself is also an upgrade from the typical popcorn slathered in oil, etc. All in all, the bistro is truly a great place.

Honestly my favorite evening place. Prices are appropriate for the quality. Similar to a place in Denver I liked.

Came to see a movie. Enjoyed it a lot. I ordered a Cesar Salad with chicken and a small drink. I Love coming to the Bristo because Now they sell Salads which is Great for people who are Diabetic. People can come and enjoy a movie and buy a healthy meal too. AWESOME JOB!!!

Love that you get to select your seats here. Always very clean facilities. Good food and quick service. Plus they bring the food out to your seats. Selection of alcohol, beer & mixed drinks as well.

Nice to go out at last in this crazy 2020

This was the first time I have ever experienced anything like this set up and I really enjoyed the food. My husband and I got the house burger with bacon, and I had rosemary fries with mine. Mwuh!!! So good!! The only reason for the 4 stars is the seats were uncomfortable. They really should upgrade to reclining seats. My back hurted a little, but other than that, loved the experience.

I was amazed. Except for the no bars behind the front seats. I mean if people can drink alcoholic beverages and is dark, they might fall on top of the people in front. Just a thought. Otherwise perfect for a nice date with some one you love

Lovely intimate theater with 6 auditoriums. The menu is as vast as the beer, wine, and mixed drink selection. The auditoriums feature non-reclining leather loungers with a small swing out table to enjoy a waiter delivered meal.

A clean well-kept theater with excellent staff and a great selection of food and beverages! This theater has it all and is always playing great.

We have been coming here 1-2 times a week since the theatre opening. This evening for the first time, we had a bad experience. Cant even complain to the manager, because the manager was the problem. Customer service is important!

I love this theater, it is always clean, the staff are always friendly & courteous. You can pick your seats and not worry about anyone taking them if youre late or need to get up to get snacks or use the restroom. The prices on food are reasonable and have quite the snack selection. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because they only have 6 theaters I believe so the movie selections are limited. They do have the new releases playing tho. Older movies that have been out for awhile dont tend to be there if a new big movie is out.

I love the Edinburg Bistro the only bad thing was that it didnt have arcade for my little one to play in but they do have food and drinks and the most comfortable seats

I have been going here for a few years now. However, auditorium 6 has a sound issue. Halloween 2018 had a sound issue. I asked the staff and they mentioned that the sound was fine it was the quality that was sent to them. This weekend I took my parents to watch Godzilla. Again in #6 and again the issue with the sound. I think I spend more then I should at the theater. With that being said, if I pay for quality sound Id like to get quality sound.

So it’s my Wife’s Bday and she wants to go to see “ Like A Boss”. I purchase the tickets the night before. We get to the theatre. We buy our popcorn and drink and are ready. So we thought! I had purchased the tickets for the day before and not the day of. The gentleman at the ticket booth radios someone and sends me to the ticket boot. There I meet with Ms. Silva. I explain everything and was expecting nothing. After all, it was my mistake. She then explains that there are only tickets in the front. Changes our food order to the correct seats and proceeds to save the day that I had ruined. That’s when things matter most. When you do something you don’t have to. Thanks to Ms. Silva’s kind heart and awesome customer service, my wife’s Bday was a success. For this I will remain a loyal Cinemark customer. I will use the Bistro from now on as my theatre of choice. Thanks to Ms. Silva going above and beyond when she didn’t have to. I truly appreciate her and am grateful. We need more people like Ms. Silva.Ms. Silve from the bottom of my heart Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! You are awesome!

I went this morning to watch Star Wars for the 8:15a showing so I didn’t have any breakfast because it was really early. FYI: I work the night shift, so it’s rare that 8amIs breakfast time. When I got to the movie theatre, I thought, ‘Well, I’m already here, I’m craving popcorn.’ So I got some. Medium, no butter. All I had was the popcorn and a blue raspberry ICEE during my movie. I started getting stomach cramps and nausea maybe 10 min before the movie ended. By the time I got home, it was full blown dry heaving, leading to vomiting and not to give TMI (I’m stating facts and symptoms), but diarrhea started at that time. I’m an ICU nurse, so I know what I got: Food poisoning. Especially since these items were the only things I had eaten in more than 12 hours. Tomorrow is my birthday. #HappyBirthdaytome I’m not trying to bash this place, because I have been going here for a long time with only one other issue, but I just want to point out that it’s really important for everyone preparing food to properly wash their hands. That’s one way these things happen, more so whenever someone is sick, goes to work, and then prepares food. Or the food being spoiled, or way past it’s use date. Maybe I will go back, but definitely NO MORE FOOD in the future. Thanks. UPDATE 12/27/2019 @10am: I went to the ER because I still wasn’t able to keep anything down, and I was diagnosed with acute dehydration, food poisoning and hypokalemia. I received some nausea medication, and some fluids.

One of the best theaters in the area. It has comfortable seating and a good menu. The service was also very good. Although the order was taken incorrectly, the staff helped fix the order quickly.

I love bistro, the food is great no complaints there. Just wish they kept those jalapenos in the containers they use to have miss those, they have these pouches of jalapenos that I dont like I really didnt mind paying for the other ones.

Great that it was the first to offer reserved seats in the valley. Only complaint is the headrest on the seats is way too cushioned. I feel like it forces my neck into my chin. It would be better if they reclined.

I enjoyed my experience. The popcorn was one of the best Ive had in a while though I wish a medium wasnt ~half the size of a large. The seats were comfortable but I prefer seats that can recline. I still think this is probably one of the better theatres in the Valley but I sure would love if an Alamo Drafthouse were built here.

This theater isnt as big as some other local ones but makes up for that with other amenities. The seats are comfortable and many recline except for the back row. Even though the back row seats dont fully recline they are still plush and comfortable. Order your food at the concession stand and go grab a seat, the food will be delivered right to you. For those serious movie lovers, like myself, who go every weekend I suggest subscribing to the monthly pass via the Cinemark app. A paying membership gets you discounted tickets on standard showings, one free ticket a month that roll over if not used, and, the best part, 20% off concessions (does not include alcohol). The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is limited screenings due to the more comfortable size. Youll be able to see the blockbusters but some of the lesser publicized movies may not be available. Overall, great movie viewing experience.

Me and my family were about to watch Dolittle (2020) and we see smog coming out of the theater, there were 3 fire trucks all because some stupid worker left the popcorn burner on, people didn’t see their movie (all of it or even any of it) and best of all... ONLY ONE TICKET REFUND! I hope this worker gets banned/fired.

Seats were not as comfy as pharr or imax and .a.c was full blast but food and drinks were reasoable.

Alcohol is also available for purchase Seating is reserved. I recommend to those who would like to enjoy chicken fajita nachos or a burger while watching a movie.

Clean. Reclining chairs are nice. Dividers, so no cuddling. Tons of previews. Lights on side stay lit. Cinemark brand, but unique. Often not crowded two, three days after major release. Online charge for tickets. Free in person for pre-day seating. Food menu, delivered to seat. Alcohol available. Pork fries are good. Regular hot dogs with long weiners.

Limited choices on the menu, although I have enjoyed all my meals Ive had here. Typical comfort food fare, Bistro Burger and Crispy Chicken Wrap have been go to favorites of mine. For a tasty treat I recommend the Rosemary Fries. Prices are reasonable for going out but dont expect cheap options. Movie concession prices for drinks though. Service is quick and attentive.

Great place to watch movies comfortably. But the food i ordered was not that good. Ordered pulled pork sliders and they were dry with very little bbq sauce. Chicken strips were ok as well as the Popcorn.

This was our first visit and I really liked the atmosphere. We all order food and i tried the pepperoni pizza. The seats were very comfortable and the small table was an excellent idea. Over all we had a great time and plan to be back soon.

Nice comfy seats and the food is taken to you, what else can you ask for. The chicken nachos are very good.

Best theater in the area. Food is good quality. New seats are very nice. With the new seats you now have a cup holder on the tray and in the other arm as well. We have never had an issue with a food order or tickets and we have attended the Bistro well over twenty times in two years. If you want to complain about lines and crappy seat assignments then do not attend at peak times. We usually go Saturday mornings or during the week before dinner time and never have an issue even with new releases.

It is always good and the chairs are very comfortable while I sit back and sip on the long pour! Actually, the movie could have been a better selection but she didnt want to think about it. Oh well, the venue, at least, was superb!

Great place to Watch Movies..

Loved the experience but my only suggestion is for them to upgrade the chair. The current chairs dont allow you to lean all the way back to enjoy the movie.

This is both a reserved seating and open seating theater. We enjoyed beer, cheladas, and margaritas with our popcorn. Seats are raised adequately between rows so you can still see the screen with people in front of you. Picture quality and sound were clear.For reserved seating - get there a half hour early. Order your food and drinks at the concession bar. Youll take your drinks with you, and your food will be brought to your seat in the theater (not popcorn - actual prepared food only).

Great place to hangout, however, I wasnt a big fan of the seats. Didnt feel comfortable and I forcibly had to lean back. And the sound system could be better. Their food menu does make up for it, the hotdog and churros are good totally recommend. Overall an okay theater.

Really enjoy watching movies here. My favorite theater in Edinburg. Doesnt have reclining sits but that isnt a deciding factor.

Greate Cheese Fries!

Great service where the food selection is much better than any other movie theater offering a full menu. The drink selection is also great and they change them by the season. About the only reason I would not give it 5 stars is because I have been at other full menu theaters where the food is ordered and delivered at your seat and that way not interrupt your viewing experience.

My favorite place to go watch a movie! Clean and friendly staff. Bathrooms are clean but I wish they had made restrooms at both sides of the place. Sometimes girls restroom is in the other side and I fequent the bathroom a lot. Other then that. Love this place!

Comfortable seating, VERY spacious in between the isles. Great food which is brought out to your seat when its done. Reserved seating. Small theaters, good sound and visuals. They have a party room so tou can have your kids birrhday party there.Almost forgot to mention they also sell alcoholic beverages.

Everything is awesome the service is good because the waiters come before the movie so they wont disturb. One thing they should have is an area for people who talk and who dont talk could enjoy the movie. I know that is a bad complaint but it bothers me especially if it is a very very good movie like avengers infinity war. But other than that it was good.

Went to see Incredibles 2 & my grandson got sick before the movie. They promptly refunded the ticket money. Even the police officer was so helpful. He went out of his way to help as I am in a wheelchair. Kudos to these Cinemark employees!

Great staff! Saw the Black Panther (IT WAS AMAZING) and the chairs were very comfy, but the aisles were dirty af. I mean, I know that this is a theater and people leave trash, but the employees dont clean after every showing? There was one employee standing around the doorway when I entered the theater, and I told him Its dirty in here and he said yep.

Theatre still feels like new, they keep adding extra items and the frozen coke with jack is the bomb!

I usually go to the Cinemark Movie Bistro at least once a week. The service is good, most people are friendly and helpful when you need the help. The theatre itself is in good condition with a great picture resolution and the seats are comfortable but some show their age. Their food, drinks and other edibles are somewhat high priced but honestly, I think most movie theaters there days are. Overall if youre just going to see a movie, its a great place to visit. If youre an early bird, the tickets before 10 am are extremely cheap and affordable. Try to catch the early shows to save a few dollars.

This is very fancy and the food is delicious. I would recommend the fried pickles never really had an issue here. Everything seemed very clean and great service.

I love how you can get a great selection of food and drinks - even a Tuscan kale salad - and eat while watching a movie. The seats are comfortable, the theater is new and clean, and its a great night out. Their margarita pizza is thin crust, flavorful and hot - really good for a movie theater!
