My first time seeing a Dolby Cinema film, saw Tenet. Very great experience. I left wanting to see more films, that sadly wont happen this year

I really like this theatre. Very quiet not to packed. The only thing I didnt like was our seats had popcorn all over them and the recliner was not working. Also the pop machine area and the butter for popcorn is always messy should be cleaned more frequently.

Ive gone to this AMC since ibwas around 15 years old. Its always had good service and nice staff, and the screen quality is superb in every theatre. 10/10 would recomend

Theater is good. But, they’ve started a premier line for concessions. Regular line has one register and premier has 2-3 registers open. After waiting 20 min had to leave as not to miss movie. Clearly a strategy to make more money off premier subscription. I’m taking my money to a different theater.

The staff members at this location were very helpful. They got us into our movie on time. Seats are clean, no leftover trash from the previous movie. They have upgraded pop machines with all of the extra flavors. It looked like there was a dining area in this theater as well. It seems to have been upgraded since the last time we came here. I was able to get a coupon for popcorn and icee for $5. Nice staff members and location. Will return with my family again soon.

Their new Dolby theatre looks and sounds great. But I’d love to know the thinking behind having blue lights on around the sides during the show. I understand branding, but there is a reason why most theaters have red lights.Additionally, I’m glad Southdale has gotten fitted with reclining seats, but the controls have no tactile feedback and are very difficult to use in the dark. Or when the lights are on, for that matter.

Fun to see a movie again in the theater on the big screen.

The best seats in town!I love the how much room you get now. Its so much better than the old theaters. Tickets are actually not that expensive either. The concessions are another story though...

Purchased movie tickets 2 hours in advance and was asked for no ID. After waiting 2 hours in the mall, manager Emily didn’t let me go in the movies because I didn’t have my ID. Waited 2 hours for nothing on a Friday night. Was denied to go in after I waited the 2 hours instead of them asking for ID before I purchased the tickets. Manager Emily shouldn’t be working a job at all let alone be a manager. Poor staff and customer service!!!! I advise you to not come here at all!!!

The seats dont recline all the way, footrest only raises to an uncomfortable position. AMC Eden prairie seats are much more comfortable. Makes for a more enjoyable movie going experience.

Recliners were comfortable but had had a hard time getting my chair to actually recline. I had to push really hard to get it to move and it didnt recline very much. Overall not a terrible location, but I probably wont go back. I think theres nicer theaters for the same price.

Theatre and Bar experience were great but the refreshment vending was woe fully understaffed with just two people. No help was rallied when the line became endless. With all the presale tickets these days, those rush time should be super predictable, plus the Oscar Movie marathon was about to start, clearly that audience is going to load up on food and beverage.

Busy on Martin Luther King Day. But efficient. Nice reclining leather seats with cup holders. Reserved seats. Generally clean except the popcorn butter area. Bar area and appetizers.

Thanks AMC for being my new favorite place to watch the Packer game when its not on TV! Good value. Good food. Do it again and Ill be back.

Very strange layout. Confusing scheduling - start time for our movie was listed online as 6:15 two days prior, only to find out when we arrived that it had been changed to 6:50. They need to get with the times when it comes to snack selection. Bar tender was very nice but prices were a bit steep. Upstairs womens bathroom only had two stalls; totally inadequate.

Really needs new management or a new focus on standards. Coke machines were out of certain flavors like coca cola (multiple machines). Employees werent engaged, several things werent stocked (napkins, straws, and condiments). Hand soap and hand sanitizer was out in me a restroom. There was no real line or lots of people in the theater so no idea why these things werent taken care of.

Always clean, efficiency can sometimes be hit or miss with opening night be premiers. Love the new seats and IMAX/Dolby screens. Have not been to the new bar theyve placed inside but I cant assume the prices are worth it. Most people just drink before the movie anyway, interesting idea though.

I’ve been to this theater a few times, but it has recently gone down hill significantly.-most of the trash cans were over flowing-candy was about half in stock-the pop machines were broken or dispensing carbonated water- icee machines were all liquid- pretty much every counter and floor was covered in pop corn-the chairs in the theater are advertised as reclining, but they only go back slightly.Overall a very disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.

Pass.The recliner seats do not recline much, like half of what other recliner seats do. The seats are very small and not heated like comparable seats. Id rather go elsewhere.We also were charged a $6 convenience fee for booking tickets online. What?? Never again.

The staff on hand was great...but they were hindered by their lack of help. By far the dirtiest theater I have ever been in, and I have seen movies in 41 states and all over the world. Concessions were good (movie theater prices are always high). Seats were fully automated and comfy.

Overall my favorite theater judged on location, cleanliness, movie availability, comfortable seating and concessions.Granted the popcorn could use some work but I havent been to any theater with great popcorn for a while.

If I was basing my stars on the fairness of usual ticket and concession prices, practically every movie theater in MN would get one star lol. Luckily, Im not. I am a member of the AMC STUBS club (forgot the actual name) and pay 5$ for usual movie tickets with a discount on special tickets, like 3D. I love that I get to see the movie audience lay-out which shows me where people are sitting and which seats are open. The seats you choose are printed on your ticket so that no one else can take your seat. The people that work there are INCREDIBLY friendly. Everyone Ive encountered has given me great customer service. Even the custodians are friendly! One has autism and was a very sweet man to talk with. They do a good job keeping the place clean and neat. The seats are absolutely amazing! They are wide recliners connected in pairs, making it an awesome set-up for cuddling with a significant other or child Or just having a nice, wide space all for yourself! I am so grateful for that club I signed up for though. I wouldnt be able to go without those 5$ Tuesdays.

Only bummer was we were really wanting to see a movie, and the only last seats we had left available was in the front row, our fault. My eyes kept bugging out. Way too close for a good movie experience.

This is my favorite theater. I like that it is in the mall and has restaurants around it. The lines are short the chairs recline and they have the bar setup. I have always gone here over the years and am enjoying the updates.

The main theater was recently converted to Dolby Cinema but the blue leds on the walls cast an extremely annoying hue on the screen. Whats the point of paying extra for deeper blacks if all the dark scenes are going to be teal. If you want the best theater experience I would look somewhere else.

The theater was dirty beyond belief. I cant even describe the condition of the bathroom. Only two of the soda machines were working. There were no tops for the beverages. Only one of the butter dispensers worked. I was the only person in the Priority Line and I waited 6 minutes before being helped. Suffice it to say that the theater has gone drastically downhill. Were switching to AMC EP and hoping for the best.

Plenty of parking on the outside, easy to get into the theaters on the inside. All theaters are pretty expensive today and thats no exception here. Snacks are pretty unbelievable, price-wise. There are some ways to make it more affordable, like taking advantage of Tuesday night discounts on admission and a small popcorn and drink combo. I do enjoy the recliner seats and the footrest and the reserved seating so I dont have to stress about where were going to be. If youre a huge movie buff and like to see lots of movies, be sure to check out their website as they have a deal for a monthly price where you can see 3 movies a week if you wanted to. I have dreams of having that much time!

Well, I dont know. Yes, the seats are fancy, your pay for your seat on a screen and there is a bar with drinks in the foyer. But you pay for that experience. Prices are high...

One of the better AMCs in the cities. Fairly clean, depending on the nights you go M-Th is best during dinner hours or during the day. Less busy. Less kids

Its a ok theater, mostly on par with other theaters with premium features, but some odd misses. What look like recliners, but they barely recline. Coke Freestyle machines, but many were out of flavors. It almost seems petty saying the popcorn was overly salted, but here we are. At the end of the day if youre paying a premium price for a premium theater, there are options with better execution without going far.

The food and pop was good. Godzilla king of monsters was good. But the prices is too high. Also the seats are odd and you should be able to sit were you want not what the ticket says. I like the old way and the old seats better

A good theater that is kept in good shape. They offer many food options, including alcohol, but it is the classic expensive movie theater prices. I always find the kids treat combo the best value.

Very difficult to sign up on website. Not a good bargain on pricing, even if you are a member. New release not even a fourth full. Service fees? I will go to West End or Willow. Not good marketing or fulfillment.

Love the remodel! Nice comfortable seats. Better food and a bar! Would have got a five star but the computer system didnt work and it was a hassle to get our tickets.

Good theater experience. Pretty much what you would expect from any nice movie theater. Good selection of movies, nice snack bar, friendly but sorta apathetic staff, and a big clean bathroom. The theaters themselves are clean and have nice chairs. Good place to catch a movie.

Its been a while since I been to the movies with my kids.

Saw Frozen 2 and it was the best movie experience of my life. Seat shaking sound you can feel down to your bones makes me wish I could fly back here to see an action movie. The cheeseburger sliders were delicious, yet overpriced, and the bar was closed when we went otherwise they would have gotten the full five stars.

Really nice theater, knowledgeable and friendly staff, if you use the app it makes the whole process easier. Seats are comfortable and the picture and sound quality of the movies is really good too.

As an AMC Stubs A-List member, I really try to avoid this one. All I can think of, is that they are understaffed. Bathrooms are always a disaster, and the trashes are always overflowing. Last time I went on a week day, there was only one guy at the front counter. Well there were a bunch of high schoolers giving him a hard time, and I waited over 8 min and still didnt have my phone scanned. This kid was asking for help over the radio and no one was responding.Also the chairs dont recline as well or as far as other theaters like Paragon. And the touch controls are bad because Ive gotten seats that wouldnt recline. The physical button chairs at other AMCs work much better. And the Dolby theater doesnt even have reclining seats!

Its a movie theatre. You only expect it to be clean and functioning. My chair reclining chair would not go as high as my daughters. I just left it down. It was uncomfortable. All asked was to be expected.

I would most definitely recommend this theatre to anyone in the area. They are very welcoming and accommodating, the seats were comfortable, the food was made in a timely fashion, and with my AMC Stubs Member discounts, the prices were extremely affordable. Clean theater, friendly staff, and respectful movie goers. No having to worry about other patrons talking or being disruptive during the movie. The Dolby theater is pretty sweet as well, although Im not sure its really much different than IMAX. Minus 1 star because the footrests dont come all the way out. Seats recline RIGHT to the point where youre about to get really comfortable, and then they stop. Just a few more inches!!

My boyfriend and I went to a movie on Sunday night and the theater was absolutely disgusting. There was food on the floor and in our seats. My seat was greasy and my boyfriends seat was wet. Horrible experience and we will never go back.

ENDED UP IN JAIL. I PURCHASED MY TICKETS I FORGOT TO GRAB THEM MOVING TO FAST CUZ THE MOVIE WAS GOING TO START I ASKED A GUY THAT WORKED THERE FOR HELP HE SAID HE DIDNT NO SO I TRIED TO FIND IT KNOW DOOR HAD A NAME OR NUMBER ON IT SO I WENT BACK AND GOT MY TICKET THE LADY WAS WAITING THERE FOR ME WITH MY TICKET WENT TO THE MOVIE GOT MY SEATS AS SOON AS I GOT COMFORTABLE THE PREVIEWS DIDNT EVEN COME ON YET LIGHTS WAS STILL ON THE SAME GUY I ASKED FOR HELP CAME WITH 4-5 COPS AND TILD ME I HAD TO LEAVE SAID I WAS TRESPASSING I asked what I did wrong they had know answer next thing I no Im in jail and now fight to misdemeanor charges and I still have no clue what I did wrong The police got my money back for my ticket so how was I trespassing I got slammed against the door I never got loud didnt even get angry

What an awesome theater! The seats are very comfortable, lots of legroom, tje Dolby surround sound is amazing....your seat actually vibrates with booms and loud sounds which I think adds to the experience. I saw IT 2 and thoroughly enjoyed myself

Comfortable seats, Dolby Cinema is the absolute best, meh on the popcorn and jeebus the prices of food is outrageous (and so it goes) but the bartender is a gem and that makes the movies that much better.

Took my daughter there for her 1st movie. Full experience ...popcorn and soda etc. Wonderful time but the price was outrageous. Be prepared to pay it

Love coming here . Parking is good and the AMC phone app makes purchasing tickets fun , picking your desired seats and the rewards are cool.

Tickets are super expensive. The place is run down, dirty, and gross. How they can justify the cost for the wreck of a facility is beyond me. Ceiling is leaking, popcorn is almost more prevalent than carpet. Bathroom (mens) has broken urinals and smells like a college dorm bathroom thats not been cleaned in years.

Love going to movies there during the week. Cheaper than going on the weekends.

Staff is courteous and efficient. The pop dispensers were not well stocked. The first machine was out of ice, the second machine was out of numerous flavors, finally a third machine had what I wanted. Sound and picture quality were great. Everything was clean.

This used to be one of my favorite theatres, but the level of cleanliness I experienced on my last visit as well as those uncomfortable recliners that dont even fully recline will have me thinking twice before I return. There are much better cinema going options in the Twin Cities.

Since I have never been here it was a bit confusing and a bit loud. While I was ordering I couldnt hear the server and she couldnt hear me. But the actual theater part is comfortable and is awesome

We went to see pet cemetary the other day and had a great time. We grabbed some snacks and the staff was fast and friendly. The reclining chairs are super comfortable. The sound was great and the theater was clean. Over all had a great experience.

It is a decent place to see a movie for the rare occasions I do so.

Great theater to visit for a movie, especially mid-afternoon. No lines for tickets or snacks. There were only two other people in the movie with us. Breakthrough was a fantastic film..Go see it.

GREAT THEATER WARNING!!! the staff were incredibly nice, they had really comfy seats that would recline, AND the movie selection varied A TON!! From movies like Halloween (2018) to Small Foot, this theater is a great place to watch anything!!! Only downside is that there was only 1-2 registers that were used for people who didnt have the premium membership. My family did have the membership which had like 2-3 registers open, so I would definitely consider getting the premium service, which is like $12 a year. So other than that the theater was awesome!!!

Nice though a little quirky with all the levels the theaters are on. I like the reserved seating, but I know some people do not. Staff has always been friendly to me. Imax and HFR theaters are a nice way to see movies in a different way.

Why are the only good movies being showed at night?

Good selection of movies. Many screens. Comfortable seating. In fact the seating maybe better for someone with lower back issues as the seats dont fully recline. There is a bar and regular concessions. The facility is kept clean.

Not a bad theatre they have the freestyle soda ...and a bar but they dont have any energy drinks. The parking here also sucks because it. Is attached to the mall so you may have to walk a bit.

Ive been going to this movie theater for years. And theyve only gotten better! Awesome seats that recline all the way. And some amazing theaters that have insane speakers.

I am giving it a two because it is conveniently located but this theater is a dump with restrooms and theaters are always a mess/trashed. I have projector not work so the movie was off in color and clarity and none of the staff did anything to fix. The theaters and restrooms are always trashed. I expressed my issues with bathrooms and theaters to AMC on numerous occasion and I have never received a response. The chairs also dont fully recline like other AMC theaters and instead you have an awkward 1/2 recline. If you have an option to go somewhere else I recommend you do; you pay a lot to see a movie here and it is a dirty/messy environment.

It gets a bit busy so order your tickets in advance, otherwise great theatre at a great location.
