Staff is friendly and informative. Place is clean and seemingly well run and take all the protocols and precautions for COVID seriously. They are a tad pricey and classes are very short. 1/2 hour so you have to pay more to go more often.Friendly for little swimmers.

0 stars, absolutely worse staff! Tried to book a birthday party for 3 weeks now, staff is extremely rude on the phone, even management - and its for the kids party! I NEVER write bad reviews but this experience was horrible! If I was the owner I would really check on the staff! You just lost my familys business! Not that 1 family is a lot off business but still...

Both my kids have learned to swim here. They do a great job. Private lessons are the best but certainly a bit more money. Group lessons are a good way to start

I love this place! I went to swim with my friend Elba, and we had so much fun! Its very pleasant to walk and swim in the 4ft deep warm pool. They have a lifeguard on duty during open swim which I think its very good to have one, just in case! The ladies lockers are big and clean. The front desk helpers are very attentive and welcoming. This is the new talk of the town spot! Specially for people like me that doesnt have pool in the backyard.I will highly recommend this place, and I definitely give them Five Star!

This place is amazing! I have taken my children to various places for swim lessons over the years, but Five Star Aquatics is THE best! The place is kept up nice and clean, the locker rooms and showers are well kept. The staff, I can not say enough!!! it seems as if every swim instructor is better than the last, but they are ALL great! My children love going for swim lessons knowing that we are having lessons here rather than any other pool. They mostly love the fact that the pool water is nice and warm and they like their classes. I have seen babies, and young children, scream and cry; not wanting to go in the pool at other places but once the kids are in the pool here, they dont want to get out. I can not say enough positive things about Five Star Aquatics. If you live any where within driving distance, I would suggest giving this place a try, I drive 40 minutes one-way for lessons thats how much we love this place.

Today I had to encounter the worst day of my life- ever. I took my son to his first swimming lesson- trial class at a facility that promotes they are certified / equipped to teach children with special needs how to swim. As a mother of a autistic child I do my homework before I go anywhere with my son. I checked their website and reviews. Had a 4 1/2 star rating so I was a little convince that my son would finally be able to enjoy a sport or better yet start learning how to swim. I waited a couple of weeks before I called this aquatic place when I did I was very very pleased on the phone the original person I spoke to on the phone was so helpful and clearly understood what autism as she explain the program and trial class. I did have a concern that being it was my sons first day at the class they would allow a parent to be apart of the session. The young lady reassure me that the instructors are well trained to be able to handle a session with or without a special needs student. When I got there I was greeted by the receptionist given a form to fill out which also asked the parent if my child has any disabilities which I did put my son is autistic as well when I called and set up the trial class I made them aware as well. Took my son to the pool area and sat till the young instructor called my sons name and told me he could come in the water. I was under the impression this young lady was given a heads up that my son is autistic clearly that message was not related to her. The young lady had another child in a session as well. Which I wasnt to pleased because it was my son first time with no floaters on or special approach for that matter. The instructor jogged between the two boys to give them a fair turn. Unfortunately, the lady tried to taking the same approach to teach the two boys the same way which in all fairness that is correct but not for a special needs child. Thats how I knew the young lady hasnt worked with an autistic child before and most importantly she wasnt made aware either that my son is autistic and needs a different way to capture his attention especially for something thats out of his comfort zone. That already made me dislike how this facility communicates among departments especially for sensitive matter like people children. What put the cherry on top was my son nearly drowned because of poor safety implementation. The instructor was taking the other child to the other side of the pool with no concern that my son was left alone on the other side by himself and of course my son being fearless and not knowing what is to have fear. He jump of the bench inside of the water into the deep pool which he was drowning for a few seconds. The instructor rushed to get my son pull him up high and his face of shock and not knowing what just happened will leave a memory that I could never ever forget. I wanted to grab my son and rush out of that place and never come back. I took deep breaths and saw my son as he kept wanting to be in the water. So I just trusted this young lady to bring Noah back to tranquil after that horrible first experience for my son and myself. After the session was done I went to the receptionist and paid for the trial session ( which at that point I shouldnt have) but I did. As we were going over prices for the program- the young lady didnt even ask how was my son first session. Just straight to packages and prices. I asked her if the swim instructor are experienced with special needs children because I felt my son instructor for the trial clearly wasnt. All she said was they do have instructors that are qualified but they are not available all the time. Shouldnt my son have been given the same opportunity as any other special needs child? Shouldnt the Five Star swimming school been more prepared and equipped to make swimming a wonderful experience for a child and parents as well? I wouldnt ever want any parent to pass what I had to endure today, no one. I wouldnt recommend this place at all.

All I Can Say Is WOW! My kids came in scared, apprehensive and unwilling to swim and now we can’t get them out of the ocean or the neighbors pool. They’re constantly using the skills that they’ve acquired at 5 Star while swimming, what a difference in only one session

From a strictly managerial perspective, we have already had a horrible experience! We took our child (almost 3 years old) for the free trial class and initially thought it was a great school. They had 2 instructors and 3 students (one of which was my daughter doing the trial) and I felt that my daughter was getting valuable swim training in the half hour class. We decided to sign her up.We then took her to her first official class, a class starting at age 2.5, and we come to realize the ratio of instructors to swimmers is 2 to 6. The amount of time the students are actually learning or swimming in the 30 minute class maybe came out to 5 minutes. Most of the time was spent sitting and waiting for the other kids to go or if the instructors had to spend extra time with nervous or nonparticipating kids. What makes it worse is that in the 6 children, 3 of them were doing the free trial so my daughter was getting even less time because they had to spend more time with those kids on their first experience. She lost focus multiple times through the the half hour because she was bored from sitting, often getting out the pool to talk to me, standing and looking around when she should have been sitting, or playing with her goggles.Overall I would not recommend coming here. When I spoke to management about getting a one-time credit ($27 for a happy customer with two young kids I think is a fair trade) or an extra class just for that bad experience, they would not budge and said NO. She said that she reviewed the tapes and that it was a normal class. She also said that she would have to give everyone else a free class too, which made no sense to me if those students parents did not have issue with the class and it was normal. Somehow I dont think that she reviewed those tapes, but perhaps that is what she was doing in the 2 weeks it took her to call me back. Furthermore, I tried to upgrade to private lessons as to not waste our prepaid summer dollars and they were already full.In the future I would look for a swim school that does not offer free trials with students who have paid for sessions without the addition of a one-time additional instructor for those trial students. This is important because the new people, in our case some brand new swimmers, will always need more attention and less time will go to your child. This is not the fault of the instructors, but the setup of the class. We cannot get a refund so we have to finish the summer but we will never recommend or send our kids here again! I just hope my daughter learns something.

Disappointed in the experience here. Im not impressed with the instructors or teaching skills. I also had an emergency where my mother was in the hospital and I couldnt bring my kids in for their lesson. They wouldnt let me reschedule and my kids missed out on a lesson (that I had already paid for).
